There are three dhamakas lined up.
Today, the first one hit.
Uma Ben gets to know that the love of her suddenly disobedient son's life is none other than her arch-nemesis, Chhanchhan.
Again, Uma Ben is very shrewd judge of character ... knows that Chhanchhan is the driving force ... and Simple spills the beans about the Manav- CC angle.
Good thing the marriage is safely done and over with.
CC doesn't know yet that Uma Ben is Manav's mother. And Manav doesn't know yet that CC is Uma Ben's arch-enemy ... those two dhamakas are yet to come.
But CC does know that Uma Ben was madder today than she has ever seen her before.
Now the kwostin is ... WWUBBD ... What Will UB Do?
And the show just got interesting ... the UB-CC eyelock was more intense and spoke far more than any CC-M eyelock ever did!

Ensure UB and CC have more footage waisay rest of the family too..

ReplyDeleteApt title...dhamakadar performance from SP. She's fabulous in the scene with CC. Really now the plot is interesting...the cv's must come with good tracks to build the story now. i'm waiting for other two dhamakas, also how CC and her family takes it.....
Just the dhamaka the show needed after such thanda romance. Past few episodes had some badly written, directed and acted scenes, so today was a welcome relief and again showed how good acting can change the fortunes of a serial.
ReplyDeleteI have already ranted in my previous post about things that are annoying me, so won't repeat. Perhaps, the romance, not going down well with the audience is making them rush through it and make the scenes look abrupt and hurried. Won't talk about FK's acting, I have given up on him. Chalo, at least all this will be behind us soon, and now for the games to begin.
Today, Supriya's dialogues reminded me of Chanakya, her character is somewhat similar, and end justifies means- Machiavellian principle.
Sanaya did well, even though Uma Ben did not let her speak. These two right now are the only ones who can keep this ship afloat.
BTW, yesterday chughalkhor aunty in SBS again mentioned FK could be replaced...rumor or not, who knows.
Same here Dia, TS interview of FK really annoyed me, how could the PH hire a male lead in such a short time, and they chose him, on what basis! Enough said...
On a happier note, Purvi's dad is back. Wonder if tomorrow will be the end of Purvi's story.

i remember the article about purvi at the start of the show: the actress had said that she is doing a short cameo as cc's friend. dunno how short is a cameo in tvland.
DeleteJust as a reminder ... NK entered for a one month cameo in IPK, and stayed on for a year. I don't think there is any hard and fast rule about cameo lengths in tellyland.
DeleteUma, I am praying Chugalkor aunty is right ... just having a good actor on screen makes so much difference. Sanaya was quiet during the entire UB confrontation, but her eyes spoke! What a difference from acting with a block of wood! When Manav was describing his dream girl to UB, I tried to look only at her when he was talking. When UB was talking to CC yesterday, my eyes were flying between their faces, both expressions were so apt!

DeleteThe TRPs have fallen again, quite indicative of how well the romance was accepted by audience.
I am not saying FK is the only one to blame, but I am struggling to go through his scenes, especially ones with Sanaya.
Somehow, the production team and creatives are not getting their act together, quite literally. At this point, I want this show to do decently well, so that Sanaya does not have a flop to her name, and it should wind up in a year and half or so when the story comes to it's logical conclusion. No stretching of tracks. Then Sanaya can take up another challenging role!
(Though I have not seen Punar Vivah, but I liked what the producers said in an interview, they are smoothly moving to second season with new actors, as they feel the current story is coming to a conclusion. Good amicable end for actors and production house, who can move to other projects).

Before going manav maroos some dhuaey daar dialgoues with blank expressions pissing off UB more and she decides to teach CC a lesson.
Enters a handsome munda with great personality he can play nephew of UB ;) and his character is same as manav only difference he has more expressions *dances*
Handsome Munda(MU) falls for CC while CC is still missing manav and singing sad songs(Bolne mein kya jata hai) but after 2 episodes she moves on and falls in lowe again and we get some actual romantic scenes *wohoo*
After this its cv's responsibility to get CC and HM married and the actual story starts.

Coming to the actual episode I liked it.CC and UB have more chemistry then chanman Jodi. I am soo waiting for the actual story hope they don't disappoint me.

Not had violent thoughts yet, but sure feel very uncomfortable in his scenes with Sanaya...I was relieved they did not show hugging after confession!
DeleteIf this continues, I might start rooting for CC to join a missionary, so she can be a permanent "do-gooder", and Mr. Borasagar can be kept at a distance! Oh! and talk about a different story...unique it shall be!

I just saw that ... OMG, they are udaoing major khilli of the guy!!! Especially Rugved ... he's going all out imitating Manav, and saying how 'happy' he is that his sister is marrying Manav ... and his expressions tell a totally different tale!! If that's the reaction on the sets for the Manav proposal, I really don't see the guy lasting too long ... that has to be the worst proposal and ILU ever on screen!!! Poor Sanaya was laughing so hard, and saying she's not going to give this interview any more!!! Pata nahin what other politically incorrect stuff this guy will make her say!!!
DeleteRugved was imitating Manav's blinking ... and the SBS reporter also said again that Manav might be replaced after IPL ... but CC will marry Manav only ...
Now why are they waiting for IPL? I hope they're using the time to actually do some screen tests and look tests, and not do a repeat of the FK selection process!!
