Daadi-Chhanchhan talk continues ... Daadi says children have to learn to fly, to spread their wings ... and their parents have to give them that strength and confidence ... but Manav's parents don't seem to be the type to do so ...
Chhanchhan is worried ... she knows Manav loves her, but he also loves his mother a lot ... what will his decision be?
Chhanchhan's father is adamnt he doesn't want his daughter marrying into that family ... Chhanchhan's mother tries to calm him ... let Chhanchhan make her decision, we can only support her.
Teri Meri on Manav Chhanchhan ... okay, this is Arnav Khushi song ONLY ... so I focussed on Sanaya only during the song ... have to say, the makers did picturize it well according to the lyrics.
And Manav sheds the last of his dikrahood with some rather good dialogues ... special mention - you have such a big stature in society, in your family, and with this drama you made yourself so small in the eyes of your son ...
And he takes off for Chhanchhan's house ... main yeh ghar chhod ke jaa raha hun ... much to the dismay of his mom, who never expected such a thing to happen.
Manav was all ready to give up the love of his life for his mother unasked ... if she has said it frankly and truthfully, then he might have had a struggle, but he probably would have bowed down ... it was her deceit that broke his trust in her ...
Uma Ben stops him from leaving ... she did it all for his happiness, Chhanchhan is not the right girl for him, she will deceive him ...
Again good dialogues from him ... Chhanchhan will deceive me? But you already deceived me ... you, the person I trusted far more than I trusted Chhanchhan.
Leaving Uma Ben with no answer ... it's the truth after all.
In the meantime ...Chhanchhan's family is frantic ... where is Chhanchhan?!
From the precap, she's very much at home ... missed Sanaya today, too little of her :(

Teri Meri will always be ArShi song for me. :) I did like the UB-Manav dialogues. Was a good epi I felt. As always love your take on each epi.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Enkay. Show is picking up, I feel ... the episodes are definitely better written and more interesting.
DeleteI am pretty much over IPK now, so all I felt when watching Teri Meri was ... this is quite a bad song, it's only Arshi who made it seem so good!!! I don't even like Rahet's voice in it so much, the girl sounds better.
i had tears in my eyes when i heard that song.. and yes, i felt that the picturization was okay, and definitely did not have any tones of IPK..
Deletebut of course their prem kahani was not anjaana.. so it was pure laziness from the part of the director, too lazy to look for another song.
Glad they continued showing the turmoil in Sarabhai family. Really liked that CC's father was still worried, a normal father thing to do for his precious daughter.
ReplyDeleteToday was Manav and UB day, the dialogues were good. Intetesting to see how Manav and UB's relation would be from here on. We know the marriage will happen and CC will come to Borasagar family, but will this little incident be forgotten and things will be back to normal between mummy and dhikhra? I know bigger things are forgotten in serial world ;)
True, Teri meri will always remain Arnav and Khushi's song, and even today I was thinking of them through the sequence.
Hope tomorrow there is Sanaya bonanza, as we got very little of her today.

I was thinking of you when they continued the Daadi and the mom-dad scenes :))) I was glad too that they spent more time on them, and showed the parents' reluctance to get their daughter married into that family where UB already hates Chhanchhan ... a doting father can never see his daughter in even a moment of unhappiness or discomfort at all ... so true to life!
DeleteI am waiting to see how the wedding happens now ... how much UB has to bend and what ultimately forces her to give way. We know CC will say No to a runaway marriage at first, will Manav try to convince Umaben?
Also I want them to bring up the fact that Manav doesn't work at all, so how will he support CC? True, she has a profession so they should not be completely penniless, but she needs to tell him that too - that he has to be able to support them.
I think Sanaya got some time off ... maybe because of the Arjun-Neha wedding? though all these scenes of hers seem to have been shot quite some days back ... or maybe because of her injury. They did need to spend time on the Manav-UB confrontation ... that is key to the story going forward. Hope to more of Sanaya now that that confrontation is over.

ReplyDeletesanaya in JDJ premiere promo
i really liked the episode today.
so i have hope that without romance, the story is taking centerstage, and the whole experience is getting better.
Awwwwwwwww, He wanted the best co anchor and he thought of Sanaya, awwwwwwwwwwww....
ReplyDeleteWaisay Manish paul and Kapil, dhamakedaar combination hai boss....the best thing in JDJ last time was manish and bharati......Wish sanz was part of this atleast as an anchor.
Thanks, Jayu!!! BLE back in action, I see! :)))
DeleteAnd yes, CC is definitely looking better now that the romance is over and done with ... now they can get on with the story.
Awww, Shwethz, I was soooo thinking the same ... Sanaya in JDJ premiere ... how I WISH San was hosting ... yaar, she couldn't take part because of CC, at least she could have hosted *sulking*
Wish they get her as guest host in a few episodes ... it will be a treat to watch her with Manish and Kapil!
I am rooting for this* Sanz as host and Manish and Kapil pretend to win over her affections.......that would be comedic riot:)
DeleteAnd they can even have Sanz do the spoofs with them.......that would be awesome..........I sooooooooooo wanted Sanz to be part of this cos of KJohar......I mean this guy produces some good movies, wish he cast her in one of those performance oriented roles*sigh*
11 Rupay may yehi milega...........rofl
