Monday 25th August
Myrah has Amnesia ... not the drug induced one, a previously existing one. She has completely forgotten that she's engaged to be married in the next few days.
And she's in love with the idea of love ... or rather, with the idea of a brooding, romantic angry man (can't call him young) with a past ... and that she is drawing him out of his terrible past with the strength of her love. She's even hearing very unmelodious bells (that was GH's idea of humor after all ... should have known), violins and guitars, and the sound of her own heartbeat.
Can't blame her ... that's the stuff all the best romantic novels are all made of ... and quite a few TV serials :) She has a rude awakening coming to her ... I feel sorry for her. But that will be the path to her growth.
Myrah's speed of falling in love was about the same as Paro's ... with far less reason. But then, Paro was a more mature girl, despite being almost illiterate and rural ... Myrah, educated and urban, is far more immature.
Rudra is confused. Myrah has the excuse of an injection ... he was stone cold sober and in his senses ... what made him reach out to Myrah, and even more ... to kiss her?
Was it the whispered "Major saab"? That only Paro ever called him ... only Paro and no one else. Or the way Myrah reached up on tiptoe to kiss him ... exactly the way Paro used to do?
But is he still seeing only Paro in Myrah? Or is he beginning to see Myrah herself? His giving into the kiss was all for Paro ... his flashbacks of the kiss were all Myrah
Maithili is the voice of reason ... someone was needed to remind Myrah that her rosy dreams of love and happily ever after with Rudra, were destined to remain just that ... dreams. And because she's been told by Rudra not to mention the resemblance between Myrah and Paro, she keeps quiet on Rudra's side of the matter, and reminds Myrah that she is engaged to be married. A timely reminder because it seems Myrah had truly forgotten all about her engagement.
Of course if Myrah was single, there was nothing wrong with her falling in love with Rudra, or Rudra with her ... as Myrah pointed out to Maithili ...
And of course Myrah still doesn't know the biggest reason it is wrong ... at so many levels.

Hello People,
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch the episode. Read the updates. I am confused now. More confused than Rudra Pratap Ranawat. Myrah loves Rudra. I only wish that those stupid bells are reminders of the past for Myrah. That is, if she is Paro. Otherwise, those bells don't make any sense to me. Because we started hearing those bells, even before the kidnap. So, Myrah cannot love Rudra because he saved her from her kidnappers. The feelings have been there long before she was kidnapped. Now Paro's realization of love looks far more matured than Myrah's. Like Rudra said, he and Paro had something in between them, only he was late in realizing that. Can't comment on Rudra's reactions. Have to watch the episode to understand. From the takes and updates I have read, looks like banna is giving mixed signals. I can understand if he is confusing Myrah with Paro and hence the unsteadiness. Though it is not an excuse to kiss (or almost kissed?) a girl who is engaged to another man. Knowing him, it is unlikely that he is matured enough to consider Paro and Myrah as two separate individuals. But, if the CVs are making him fall for Myrah, then..... ayyo.... Shivane..... :( :( Go ahead. Kill his character as well.
And what happened to Myrah's past? She kept telling Rudra that he didn't know anything about her. Could someone please tell us Myrah's past? Why this sudden outburst of love for the Major? #DimaagKarabified#

Have not seen the episode (still at work) but did read a few takes/ updates during lunch hour. I can't understand why they are bashing Maithili? She seems to be the only sane person and she's doing what she is out of the goodness of her heart and because she does not want to see Rudra or Dhruv hurt. Myrah needs a danda. If she's not Paro, can Paro please oblige???
DeleteDia, it looked more like Rudra Banna got momentarily swept off his feet - emotional strength was never his forte, after all.
Delete& Myra - she spoke to her fiancé after the rescue then promptly forgot about his existence? Her "he loves me, he loves me not" reminded me of a 13-year old in the throes of puppy love. Myra definitely needs a danda - the bigger the better - precap scene showed her at her immature best! Mythili's was the only voice of reason. Let's see what the next googly CVs throw at us.
Archana & Aki: Agree with you both. Maithili is the only sane person in the Ranawat haveli. I didn't like it when she brought an alliance for Rudra, without his knowledge. But what she did today made a lot of sense.
DeleteI am glad Rudra came to his senses and stopped seeing Myrah as Paro. For now. Like Aki said, he momentarily got swept off his feet by Myrah because of her 'Major saab' and the kiss. Let us see for how long he remains the same. Myrah was very immature, but I feel bad for her. The story will definitely have a happy ending. But Rudra's first reaction to Myrah's puppy love will be a big no. Well, he has already started shunning her. And Myrah is confused. In one of my previous posts, I had commented that I didn't want Myrah to fall for Rudra without a reason. And Rudra should never fall for Myrah. The first one has already happened. Not sure what to expect from the CVs. In spite of all this, waiting for tomorrow's episode. :) :)
I have decided I am going to stop thinking weather the CV's are going to show Myra=Paro or not, frankly don't care any more, they are playing with the fan's emotions by sometimes showing similarities and then yanking it off and making clear that Myra is a different person, no similarities to Paro at all, this constant yo-yo is irritating me and leave it to GH to annoy the whole thing further, the bells were her heart beats- realization of her falling for Rudra, its proceeded a step further today with all the violins in the background added- 'Main Hoon Na' influence much??!!
ReplyDeleteAnd am I the only one who found Rudra kissing Myra back while thinking about Paro and having her flashbacks creepy?? The intensity was there alright 'eerie' one :-/
And why are they suddenly showing Myra like an airhead high school girl with a secret crush... I remember some of my classmates who had their so called secret crushes in the senior boys, and they would go on and on about- 'Oh oh he is looking at me thee he he', the best one- 'He wore the same colored shirt as my dress today- OMG this is love'!! :-0
Myra was doing something similar, oh, he loves potatoes, I love potatoes, he asked whether I have had my medications- oh he loves me- looks like she surely needs some medication alright! :-/
If the makers wanted to show Myra's realization of falling in love with Rudra isn't there any subtle way of showing it??
The best thing in this whole drama is currently Maithili according to me- she is the voice of reason to both Myra and Rudra- somebody needs to be frank with both of them and show them a mirror and was glad that Maithili was point blank with her questions to both Rudra and Myra, she clearly has best interest in her heart for both of them!!
Chalo, looks like Deknahe tho deko/ Such is life- is in full swing! :-/
Lets see what they have in store for us tomorrow.
Bang on Morning Breeze. I remember Dia commenting in one of the previous posts that she doesn't have trust in the CVs to make this new version of RR better than RR 1.0. Because one cannot understand why Myrah would ever fall for RPR. Looks like we will never get any reasons for the same. I will be glad if Myrah is in fact Paro (who has amnesia) and that is the reason she hears those bells.
DeleteA question about amnesia to the doctors in this forum. I have not met any amnesia patients before. But I remember a Tamil movie, in which the hero suffers a short term memory loss due to shock. Couple of days before his wedding, he slips and falls down while playing cricket and forgets the events of the past one year that happened in his life. The hero had met his future wife in the last year and he would have forgotten her and their relationship, his impending marriage with her. The entire movie is a funny riot of how his friends get him married and manage him for the next 2 days. The reason I mentioned this movie is that the hero would not even recognize his girlfriend when he sees her in the mandap. I mean his heart or soul or brain does not ring bells, or play violins when he sees the girl. So, my question is whether an amnesia patient has an iota of recognition (in any form), when he or she sees an important person from the past? Sorry, if bored you girls. But yeah... it is a very genuine question. Last thing... I hope the CVs justify Myrah's 'Major Saab'. That phrase acted as a trigger for Rudra.
Oh ho! meant 'Whether' not * weather*.. typo urgh..
ReplyDelete@ Morning Breeze I wholeheartedly agree! Maithili is the voice of reason and I am disappointed fans are getting irritated with her, she seems to be the only one making any sense right now!
ReplyDeleteRudra kissing Myrah was creeeeepy bc we have seen no sign of any feelings that Rudra is harboring for Myrah. she looks like his ex and he just met her a few days ago so it is eerie.
The hearing bells thing so far is STUPID, honestly if this is another GH thing as Dia said, I am unimpressed! Khushi's heartbeat was still an actual physical possibility, the bells are an auditory hallucination!
...will see how this unfolds, Friday's precap was intriguing, and todays precap made me cringe..
I don't mean to 'hate' on the episode, it was truly, despite all of this, an entertaining episode, Sanaya and Ashish are magic, whatever they are given they make it work and as always they are the saving grace!
I am not looking forward to seeing Myrah's heartbreak after Rudra tells her who's picture that is :(((( I was hoping some sort of trigger of a memory or something that connects Paro with Myrah but everything that has been thrown our way has been intentionally vague..like the PH themselves don't know which way to steer Myrah's character. Frankly it's tiresome
@Dia I echo your sentiments Why kill paro if the show was going to end.
Literally they butchered a lovely story and right now i feel my patience being a bit tried.
in the words of Myrah: (Let's) wait and watch!

Saw the episode and absolutely loved loved Maithili. She was the voice of reason and handled both Rudra and Myrah firmly. Honestly I did not have a problem with Rudra kissing Myrah, clearly he was caught in the moments - all flashbacks showed Paro. I actually felt really bad for him - he longs for Paro so much, he has not forgotten her and the Major saab + tiptoe kiss on cheek completely threw him off. He's hanging on to the last straw. Poor guy. He should have listened to Maithili and stayed away - but then again who can blame him. It's heart winning over head here. Myrah on the other hand was ridiculous! She behaved like a pre-teen, what was all that giddy headed loves me loves me not? Overnight? She def. needs a danda and she will get it from Rudra. The story is not bad, it would have been much better if Myrah had a solid reason for falling for Rudra instead of the school girl crush! And why oh why did they have Rudra ask her about her meds and stop her hitting the poll? Just for the " he loves me" brownie points? Would have been better if he let her walk into the column- maybe it would have knocked some sense into her. Myrah gets no sympathy from me. Sorry! Maithili - Shatabdi were good. Overall nice episode - could have been better if Myrah was not so giddy with so called loveria.
ReplyDeleteAgree with all of you ... Maithili was the voice of reason ... Rudra kissing Myrah thinking she's Paro was creepy ... I liked the precap much better than I liked the episode, because I thought that Rudra would step back at the last minute, and I was really disappointed that he didn't ... he got completely carried away.
ReplyDeleteIF Myrah is Paro, and he got carried away because he felt the same emotion from her, then it will justify him in the end ... if not, what he did was so wrong on every single level that Maithili mentioned. A young single girl, a guest, engaged to another man ... okay, she made a move on him ... but who is the older, more mature one here? And even more important, who is the one who knows all the facts, including the very big one that Myrah resembles Paro? Rudra. He is her bodyguard ... he has no business getting swept away like this. And he doesn't even have the excuse of not being in his senses, like Myrah does.
I will actually not blame Myrah so much here. Yes, she's acting like a giddy schoolgirl, in the throes of her first major crush ... can't call it love by any means. But from her POV, what has happened? A guy who was getting angry with her for no known reason, now has become her friend, acknowledged he misjudged her ... and since then, he has been giving her lectures on love and life and marriage, he rescued her from a dangerous situation, she hugged him because she was distraught and had been through a traumatic time ... he hugged her back, calling her by the name of his dead wife ... and she knows he lost his wife under tragic circumstances.
The guy then proceeds to tell her that her fiance hasn't done enough, shown enough concern, and what he would have done if he had been in his place. And then proceeds to do exactly that ... Rudra said if he was her fiance, he would never let her out of his sight ... and since they came back after the kidnapping, he has not. So I don't blame Myrah for being confused, for thinking that he feels something for her ... sure, he loves his first wife, and she loves Rudra all the more for that, because it shows how intensely and deeply the man can love. But she genuinely feels that if he's showing her so much care and concern, even thinking about what he would do in her fiance's place, he has started having feelings for her ... after all, it's been seven years since he lost his wife.
Rudra should have had the courage to tell Myrah the truth the next morning ... after all, he was in his senses, he knew what was happening, he knew he got swept away ... at night he was lost in his emotional upheaval, but in the morning, as a gentleman, he should have taken Myrah aside, apologised to her, told her he got carried away and that it won't happen again. And Myrah could then tell him she loved him, and she feels he loves her ... that would have been the perfect time for Rudra to show her Paro's picture.
But they're setting up Myrah for bigger heart break ... so Rudra is being an emotional coward and running away from her ... that will justify Myrah's feelings that he does care for her, but feels guilty because she is under his protection ... and she will determine to show him how she feels. And Maithili's repeated criticism that Myrah is too foreign, Rudra likes desi women, will make Myrah dress up as Paro after she sees the picture ... it will just re-emphasize to her that yes, Rudra likes her, but he would like to see her in a desi avatar.
I agree Dia, but to feel sorry for Myrah's phan-girling, they need to show something about Myrah that is making her do that. Something that she's been yearning for true love or that she wishes Rohit was like Rudra- passionate - or that internally she's always been a little scared and wanting a strong person to lean on or something. She seemed pretty content 2 days ago about marrying her best friend whom she is not in love with and now she's fallen head over heels with an older man with a 7 year old son?
DeleteI think ... or rather, I HOPE ... that the reason they showed Myrah so giddy with lovaria, is because this ISN'T true love for her, it IS a crush ... and she will realise it when she sees Paro's pic and finds out who she is.
ReplyDeleteAnd that could then take the story forward ....
if Myrah is not Paro ... she will back off and stay away from Rudra ... and maybe then go back to her fiance. And Rudra will play Cupid.
If Myrah is Paro, she will back off ... just as Rudra finds some clue that she might be Paro ... and he will do the chasing.
I still cannot accept Rudra falling in love with Myrah if she is not Paro ... it is a recipe for disaster. He will never forget Paro as long as Myrah is around. He can never love Myrah as long as he does not forget Paro. As long as Myrah is around, Paro is around ... Myrah's face is like an invisible ghost of Paro between them. It can never be a healthy relationship. And it will be most unfair on Myrah - she will never know whether she is Myrah for Rudra, or just a reflection and a substitute for Paro.
dear dia,
ReplyDeleteits been a long time.i'm much better than right now.was following the blog all the way though, and watched some epis here and there.so i know how the storyline is moving.dia,i'll be so glad if ur wish comes true.but dont expect anything from this perverted cvs, they love to play with the feelings of the audience.i swear if i ever find them,it wont be good for any of them for destroying the story.
to say,i expected an emotional take from u for y'days epi but i liked the present one too.for me,i was reduced to tears with all the flashbacks and the first scene[tears came to my eyes as i watched the'imli' flashback of parud that was shown recently],poor rudra.cant actually blame him,all that 'major saab' really swept him off.but he shouldn't repeat such mistakes.and myrah is so childish.
i'm very clear with one thing,RUDRA STILL LOVES PARO AND CONTINUES TO LOVE HER THROUGH MYRAH..waisey,i dont understand, kya jaayega cvs aur ST ka agar they showed us a happy ending with parud and dhruv?[cvs,if u r reading this, pls make our wish come true]
i think i'm the only one who is not liking maithili nowadays.true, she is practical and sane.but the parud fan in me is hurt when she repeatedly says she wants rudra to move on in life forgetting paro?and she calls herself paro's jija?rudra has learnt to live with dhruv.let him live his life the way he wants.[sorry guys,i know i'm a bit childish here but i can't tolerate to repeatedly hear that 'bhulakar' phrase from sbb/sbs/cvs/maithili.]
also, can somebody pls clear my confusion,is myra really paro?bcoz
-y'days majorsaa?[most imp.]
-she hates doodh?
-that ghanti?
I HOPE DIA,MADHU,MORNING BREEZE AND U ALL REPLY.ITS BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME.
ratna.
note:madhumita,i guess u r a south indian?so are u a malayalee?if so,i read in IF that dubbed version of RR is coming soon on surya tv as 'pranayavarnangal'[colours of love].
Good question Ratna - this is the (million) dollar question that the CVs will answer closer to end of show. For the moment, it is looking like Myra's back story is slipping away in the background like Tejawat, the missing brides, arms smuggling, etc.
DeleteHave to agree with u Dia on Rudra being out of line with Myra - along with being the older, more 'mature' person of the two, Rudra also overstepped his professional boundaries with his action. However, since this is a desi soap, such creative licenses are to be taken in the interests of moving the story forward - sigh!
Hey Ratna - good to hear from you. As for your question - who knows what the CVs are thinking? I think they go in the direction the winds blows for the day :) They are purposely giving mixed signals. Some showing Myrah is a bit like Paro (the doodh, major saab, the tiptoe kiss etc) and sometimes showing how different she is from Paro. They are succeeding in keeping the attention of the audience.
DeleteI do really do think Maithili is right here. I love Paro as much as you do, but I think Maithili is asking Rudra to move on just because of Myrah. She sees that Rudra is falling for Myrah just because he wants Paro back and so is Dhruv. And as Dia pointed out this obsession is not good for any of them and absolutely unfair on Myrah. If you remember she started the "move on" only after Myrah came on the scene - because she could see where this was going. Maithili bringing in that girl for the rishta was absolutely wrong - but I believe she panicked at that time and made a wrong decision. But what she is doing now is correct. It's not that she wants Rudra to forget Paro or to move on because she has forgotten Paro herself. She's doing it because Rudra should not be running after Myrah and giving her false hopes just because of her face resembling Paro.
Not sure which way the Cvs will go, it depends on how much time they have before the show ends.
Ratna, looks like someone up there heard your query. According to Telebuzz, ST has confirmed last episode will be telecast in September 19. Shooting will wrap up by September 7. Since Myra's fiancé is expected to show up in another day or two, we will get to see where they take the story next. If she is not Paro, then I sincerely hope Myra rides into the sunset (with or without her fiancé is her choice) leaving Rudra and the Ranawat clan at peace in their haveli.
Delete@Ratna: Madhu here. Good to see you again. Hope you are doing fine. I am not a malayalee. I am a Tamil. Not sure about RR's dubbed version in Malayalam. Hope they find the right voices for the characters. Atleast for the leads. I watched a couple of episodes of the dubbed version of IPKKND in Tamil. Khushi's voice was ok. ASR's voice was... well... grrrrr. :X I prefer the original compared to the dubbed versions. Not sure about the dubbed serials in Malayalam. Hope they do a good job.
And ladies.... looks like the news is official now. RR is ending on September 19. Read an article and they have got a confirmation from the producer himself. I wonder why no one has made an official announcement yet. I mean.... the fans are kind of prepared for the worst. So, they need not worry too much about the fans' reaction. I guess the channel is trying to cancel the show silently, without creating much of a fuss. I don't see any reason why they are so secretive about the entire thing. Nothing worse than this could happen anymore. To the show and the channel.

Yeah i am a malayali..
ReplyDeleteI hate dubbing version of serials esp IPKKND & RR..
But watch for my life Barun & Ashish offcorse
