11/8 - Epi 161 ... Old Habits Die Hard

Monday 11th August

Paro tried her best ... she really did. But it seems that Rudra's habit of assuming the worst and misunderstanding people has not gone at all. Jumping to conclusions is his area of expertise, and he excels at it.
Of course Myrah made it worse with her foot in mouth disease today ... poor girl, whenever she tried to tell him the truth, it came out wrong!

Myrah is good with kids ... that is established ... she saw Dhruv folding the clothes all wrong ... he saw it too ... his face crumpled, he wasn't going to 'earn' his money after all ... and Myrah promptly told him that was the way she liked her clothes to be folded. And the puppet show was equally cute ... getting a simple message across to the kids in a fun way, making them smile.

London thumakda song was very cute ... Sanaya danced with so much energy, can't believe she was down with flu at this time. The kids were really cute ... they were following her steps with full enthusiasm.

Myrah-Mohini scene was hilarious ... Mohini's greed for money seems to winning over her indignation at being called a servant!

Myrah taping herself ... and the bit about not crying ... she mustn't cry ... was that just silly, superficial Myrah ... or or there another reason that Myrah keeps telling herself she must not cry, she must stay happy?

What is with that silly bell noise? If it is meant signify Myrah falling for Rudra, I'm going to be really annoyed!

Rudra's face softening at the sight of his son laughing and dancing with gay abandon was beautiful ... everything else forgotten in that moment of seeing his son laughing happily.

So Dhruv has accepted that Myrah is not mummy ... does that mean that Myrah is not Paro. :((( Or did Dhruv say that just to reassure Rudra, and let him allow Dhruv to spend time with Myrah?

But he feels Myrah has been 'sent by Mummy' ... what does that mean?

If RR is going to wrap up in a few weeks, I cannot fathom the cv's stupid decision to kill off Paro. :(

  1. This Rangrasiya is definitely enjoyable but not 'captivating' or intense the way 1.0 was, at least not yet...but still hooked to watching it :)
. Dancing was awesome, I too do not like this ringing bell thing unless it has something to do with her memory coming back....otherwise it's silly , IPK at least had an actual heartbeat for Khushi not a random noise!
I loved the crying sign, how can one dislike Myrah with scenes like those put in.
RE : Dhruv's line in the precap, let's wait for the episode to play out, he may be saying it in context to something else...
It would be nice to have a Rudra who's grown and isn't snapping at Myrah all the time, been there done that with Paro, hopefully there's less of that,
the shawl scene: one of my favorites, hayee, it's like another world when they show flashbacks!
Generally speaking why are heroes that are so mean to their heroines always so popular.....?

  3. I too heard about RR going off air in september 2014. Why is the production house not making any sort of clarification? I am also wondering why this is never mentioned in any of those sbs/sbb segments. They normally shoot a lot of questions, mostly unwanted. Why not ask about this rumour? Madhubala is going off-air too. And it has been in the news since a very long time. And the TRPs for RR have improved slightly. Then why is no one answering any questions regarding this?

Agree with you Dia. If the stupid bell sound is the CVs way of showing that Myrah has feelings for Rudra, then I am going to be really annoyed. This looks way too stupid than Paro's realization of love for Rudra. Atleast in Paro's case, Rudra had saved her life many times, the doll connection and all that crap. So far, Rudra has done nothing phenomenal for Myrah, except letting her use one of the rooms in his haveli (that too under pressure). If I understand correctly, Rudra shows slight softening towards Myrah. I hope the CVs stop till there and don't take it to the next level. Looks like they have decided to assasinate Myrah's character by making her fall for Rudra for no reason. I sincerely wish that they keep Rudra's character intact. Because he and Maithili (and may be Danveer too) are the only reminders of RR1.

  4. Watched the episode. It was a filler but enjoyable. Sanaya was fabulous. She obviously has a story which is why she is so chirpy, takes lots of videos and selfies of herself and the wedding preparations/ barati are missing. I think she has had amnesia (suggested by someone else) which is why she behaves like she does.
I did not like Rudra's behavior toady at all. But his expression when he saw her with the dupatta on her head was heart wrenching.
Regarding the ringing bell/ ghanti - I have one kostin - if this is Paro - then shouldn't Rudra's ghanti be ringing as well? What happened to the made for each other, Shiv-Parvati love? How come his heart strings are not being tugged without reason? Yeh kya love wala story hain?

    1. Ok I just listened very carefully to the ghanti sound. It's a pooja/ arti sound. Betcha there was an arti going on in Bhole-baba's mandir just when Paro/ Myra was coming out of her coma and it's that sound. That's what is coming back to her - her memory.

    3. In which case, hiring Rudra Pratap Ranawat is part of the plan for Paro's homecoming? Not bad, Myra = Paro is palatable and the show ends on a happy note in September 2014. Definitely chalega!

    4. Now if only we could pass this story to on the CVs - maybe we could all live happily ever after with Rudra and Paro :)
