So as expected Anjali weeps copious tears, feeling bad for Khushi ... all said and done, Anjali is sweet. And she was so upset about her own mangalsutra, she can sympathise with how bad Khudhi must be feeling.
If only she knew!
Anyway, Khushi just can't bring herself to tell her anything. Anjali feeling so bad for Khushi, makes Khushi feel even worse. Anjali is so sweet, how can she break her heart and her world?
GH - the ladies waiting anxiously.
Shyam Anjali - Anjali still feeling terrible for Khushi, starts crying the moment she sees Shyam, gives long spiel about trust and love in relationships, and Shyam is in blue funk. I found it funny! Bachu, aaj bach gaya, kab tak bachega? He even starts to apologise, just as Anjali clarifies! Saved by a whisker!
But Anjali doesn't tell him about Khushi's broken engagement.
GH again - Khushi confesses she couldn't tell Anjali anything. Payal and Bua unhappy, Garima relieved. Buaji actually worried if Shyam had threatened Khushi and wants to chop him up ... thank God someone is worried for Khushi! Khushi tries to tell them how much Anjali worships her husband, Buaji says that's why it's important to tell her ... but Khushi can't. Not having seen Anjali's hysterics. She doesn't want to break her world. Give Shyam one chance to make amends.And Payal's rishta is also at stake.
Payal still unhappy, and rightly so ... she has to live in that family with the lies. Garima persuades her. Garima only worried about Payal ... grrr.
Buaji feels for Khushi, very sweet small Buaji-Khushi interaction.
She managed to persuade everyone else, but Khushi is still worried if she took the right decision. Then she sees Payal upset, and sets about cheering her up. With her usual teasing and masti ... damn cute ... what did you think I was saying, hawww!!!! All she wants is Payal's smile. Which she finally gets.
Akash calls Payal ... again Khushi takes over, batting eyelids, sharamaoing, the works ... and then takes over the phone ... this was hilarious!!! Akash runs for his life, handing the phone to a nonplussed Arnav, who listens incredulously (but quite willingly) as Khushi flirts away happily ... and then she moves to comparing Akash with his khadoos brother ... WT*, she didn't recognise him from the two words he spoke? How dare she?!
Ego deflated yet again! It's me!
He still doesn't say his name, though. Main bol raha hun is enough.
And Khushi shocked into silence and hiccups *rofl*
The smallest Arshi scene is enough to steal the entire episode! Utterly butterly cute! Khushi's expressions to die for as she flits, bats eyes, sharmaos and asks Arnav to come tomorrow to put her engagement ring ... baby, your engagement is done already! Twice over - first Arnav put the bandage, then Anjali, his sister put the ring. All signed and sealed!
And it's the engagement day already! Everyone getting ready ... Garima and Payal both looking very pretty, Payal lovely with open hair.
Khushi looking like a doll in pink and white ... this girl is so stunning in anything she wears! Love her curls and the pink and cream Anarkali outfit - classy and very, very elegant! She asks Devi maiyya to bless Jiji and Akash ... and also La and Arnav ... her eyes clouding just slightly ... but no, she decided not to think about him again after his engagement.
Arnav has a major tubelight moment ... La, are you leaving? Well duh!!! She is, and his cover, his shield is blown.
La is looking gorgeous too, completes the trio of lovely ladies!

ReplyDelete*phew* arhi scene even 30 sec phone convo is paisa wasool, more than me my hubby was rofling at that scene.
You think engagement might happen after all. You know the whole La handing arnva to khushi..What if he decides to marry her pretending on the outward that he is doing it for akash but deep inside he knows abhi nahin toh kabhi nahi.
The drought of arhi scenes have made me pray for an engagement - U know guaranteed arhi romance daily *sigh* and nice romantic trick till their marriage before Shyam's truth explodes again.
Khushi did not ask for Arnav-La happiness together, Isshmart girl.
Rest pretty much filler. I agree with you on Khushi's decision, it makes sense for her character. But what about the elders they should have more sense na.
Gee, I wonder how Arnav will find out about Khushi's single status, will Anjali blurt it out to him?

@Shyam: I was surprised Shyam turned up at all, shouldn't this guy have some inkling about His Saale saab's anger if indeed Khushi had told the R family, some nerve he has. I guess he knows pretty well the Guptas by now, he they would put all the burden on Khushi and how by nature forgiving she is.

@Everyone looked their best, I thought Shyam looked much much better than he usually does. Also can I say this safely here? With the other show being wrapped, the PH can now divert some money in this show starting with the wardrobes first and also other technical aspects. I hope they go in for some new ones rather than using the leftovers from their old show.
Song will not happen today, Can we atleast have one "I-keep-forgetting-how-beautiful-you-are"look from arnav looking at khushi.

ReplyDeleteMy hubby rofled at two scenes - the Shyam-Anjali one, after I told him what it was all about (he follows the show fairly regularly, doesn't have much choice with his wife such an addict!) ... and the Arnav-Khushi phone call :))) I swear, two minutes screen time these two get, and that's all it takes to make us go crazy!
I doubt engagement will happen, but if I have to eat my words, I will be the happiest! Because I was thinking, ok, Payash get engaged all right, but Khushi will avoid RM now na ... so how will Arhi meet? Unless Arnav gets his act together and pursues her ... or Shyam does some treachery ... so an Arhi engagement or forced marriage is seeming more likely. Ok, I just contradicted myself ... this show does this to me!
I guess even the elders decided to wait and see how Shyam behaves in future, because no one likes to be the bearer of bad news. And this is sensitive - they are the new in-laws, very delicate rishta ... besides the cv's had to have a reason for the truth not to come out yet!
Shyam turning up at night to Anjali?! Yep, I was surprised too - shouldn't he be running for his life? Or at least, he should have called Anjali to check that the coast was clear before coming? That was a bit of a blooper. But, yep, maybe he was pretty confident Khushi would not have said anything, because he had messed with all of their minds too about Payash. And Khushi being Khushi, of course, and worried about Payal's rishta. I also liked Shyam's deep red kurta - it was nice. Better than Akash's orange one.
I hope the PH starts spending some money here, and first of all, changes Khushi's wardrobe - it's high time! Sanaya is so pretty that she carries it off, but her clothes are hideous! She is looking so stunning in that Anarkali suit!
I was on the other show forum, trying to get some links, and one comment was - the leads in IPK don't have any chemistry! I actually laughed out loud!!! How sour can grapes get?!
Song won't happen today? I think it will ... and it will end with La's engagement not happening announcement! So next week will be crucial to changing the Arshi equation - it's time for some major romance now - we've actually seen the trust and some respect build up, now we need the fire!
Dia, My hubby catches the epi on and off when he is at home. He is still trying to figure things out and he is resigned to the fact that dinner will be at either 7.30 or 8.30pm. So not getting nominated for the ideal biwi award, I am sure,lol.

YESSSSSSSS, They need to upgrade Sanaya;s Wardrobe ASAP. Credit to her she carries it off, never liked them much from day one. Maybe now that they have funds and also maybe they need to show Khushi maturing a bit, it might happen.
I think this is their first major show in a prime channel which is in top 10. They need put all the efforts to ensure it stays there starting with aggressive promotions. I see promos for the Behna show all the time, why cant they shoot promos for this one???
Contradictions: Tell me about it, there are days I am absolutely convinced, Khushi would leave and go away somewhere and arhi would meet after a leap and there are days like nowadays I am sure Arhi marriage will defo happen. Anything for ARHI scenes. I swear i would never ever make fun of dupatta flying and the pankhas.
Dunno if you are the other show fan, sorry in advance if you are, but I never saw any chemistry there. Zilch. Never understood what the fuss was about. Heck even had lost hope of me liking any Indian show ever. Started watching in the middle cos of Sanaya specifically where arnav dumps her in the road in the middle. Was curious to see if he comes back looking for her and that monday epi sanaya was brilliant in the drunk act. Havent turned back since then.
I want Arnav to pursue khushi, about time it happens. She might be hesitant with all that has happened and also cos of her decision to withhold the truth wrt Shyam, but he has to majorly woo her and she hopefully will tell Arnav eventually.
Song: Me thinks it will be monday the whole trp funda na. Cos first there is arnav la convo,Buaji's Teri toh aisi ki taisi glare at Shyam, the family getting introduced and ofcourse in the last segemnt Arnav Khushi scene. Let us see. There better be one rabba ve moment. With so many ppl and food around, can't she slip once so he can catch her??

ReplyDeleteMy hubby has actually started following it because I insist on watching the new episode which airs at midnight my time - he has the choice to either sleep through it or watch with me, he usually watches out of sheer boredom! But he's started liking it now, even though he will never admit it!
I don't like that parrot green of Payal's outfit, she was looking sweet otherwise. La was looking better. Sanaya was looking the best of the lot. But I really want a wardrobe change now, they should move on to the next phase for sure. Dunno why all the SO cv's believe in this uniform in different colors for their leads. Even the behna show does the same thing. They need to upgrade their thinking to SP level and give their heroines some variety in clothes. NO ONE wears the same style of clothes all the time! And I agree, they really need to promote the show more - okay, they want to keep the storyline under wraps, but they have to whet the viewers appetites also.
The only thing is, IPK is actually doing brilliantly well for SP because it is the only show giving BV any competition at all. KTLK has failed in the 8 pm slot, and Hitler Didi is just average or less. IPK has surpassed BV again, and more importantly, it has been in the top ten consistently for almost three months now. So it's established itself well all right. Behna and DABH are reaping the benefits of KBC going off air - their TRP's just went up. I think DABH will sustain, it's been ascending slowly and steadily, plus its another dominant saas-suffering bahu type of show, with a feel good factor ... Behna I don't know if it will sustain - I saw a few episodes, and found it very similar to YRKKH in terms of settling into sasuraal, glamour and glitzy costumes, and very little content as of now.
I'm not a fan of the other show at all, never managed to watch more than five minutes at a stretch ... but some of my friends love it, so I guess it had some merit, which I honestly missed!
Oh gosh, I now SO want Arnav to pursue Khushi ... because she has decided very definitely and consciously to put him out of her mind in the romantic way. So I really want to see him work hard at this one ... you're right, she will be hesitant because of both his behaviour and Shyam, so he has his work cut out ... but I really want him to woo her with all he's got, yet retain his ASR-ness! I NEED some of those Arhi scenes now - like the Diwali lights, mud in eye, payal ... heck, dupatta and wind will do, something, anything!!! Have high hopes of this party - the last time Khushi dressed up was Diwali, and we got the almost-kiss ... now she's looking simply stunning, Arnav had better get carried away ... and this time, NOT come back to crush her! I will personally kick him if he gets nasty!
