So the cv's leave us dangling with a carrot for the weekend ... goes without saying Arshi will meet at 12 midnight on New Year's Eve ... question is how? Imaginations going wild here ... will it be because of Payash? Or not?
Cute lighthearted episode with lots of Arshi ... lots of NK, who is fun to watch ... Nani Buaji jugalbandi ... and very little of plotting sulky Shyamu. Arnav and Khushi still very much in denial, but seem to be reluctantly acknowledging Devi Maiyya's efforts of throwing them together, even if only to vow to fight them.
And yes, Arnav smiled ... again :) ... he so needs the madness of Khushi in his life to give it color and shape. And he is seriously annoyed, and even a little upset and nervous ... to see Khushi laughing and smiling with NK so freely. Was that at the back of his mind, and the unconscious reason why he actually challenged Khushi about New Year's Eve?
What did I predict?! Dance master Madhubala and NK are the only two people to see the sparks fly between Arshi ... RM crowd continues to be blind.

So episode starts with yesterday's Rabba ve ... edited to just 30 secs today ... whether it was 30 seconds or half an hour, Anjali would stay blind! And for the first time, Khushi doesn't let go of Arnav even when he starts speaking ... they stay locked to each other, his hand still holding her shoulder, her hand still holding his, as though neither wants to let the other go after such a long drought of staying apart ... as he says with only the slightest bite in his tone ... Anybody with my name can't do anything right? So I should have let you fall?
Anjai interrupts as always, is Khushi all right? And they come to their senses, Khushi abruptly, Arnav more slowly ... again, I wonder, are these directorial touches, or do the actors bring them in after being told the gist of the scene. Even these little nuances of how each lets go of the other are telling.
Of course Anjali and Nani only see the fighting, Madhubala and NK, the outsiders, see the sparks as well. MB wants Arnav to dance, this time Khushi says no quickly, her senses still raging after that closeness and eyelock ... reminded as to why she wanted to be near Arnav, yet also reminded as to how she loses herself when she is ... and the bitter aftermath ... no, she doesn't want! And Arnav seconds her quickly ... he doesn't want to lose control either ... a small tu tu main main, Nani and Anjali give each other resigned looks as though to say, these two will never change ...
But neither can resist stealing that last look again ... Arnav annoyed, as though to say, you turned me down this time, Khushi slightly guilty, as though wondering whether she did the right thing ... and NK catches those looks ...
Then some cute scenes, as MB wants the elders to dance, and Nani calls Buaji as her partner ... both excited about their old dancing days, and ready for action ... sidelining an annoyed MB in the process as they improvise happily on her steps! Boy, Nani can dance!!! And NK meets Buaji was as cute as expected ... NK all pleased and happy like bashful schoolboy - Buaji likes him!
NK's Hindi and Khushi's corrections continue :))) And as the elder ladies dance, the younger ones enjoy the jhagda ... nagda ... Arnav enters just in time to see Khushi and NK getting along like a house on fire, and he fumes ...
NK tries to soothe the elders ... sab budiya hain ... Khushi corrects ... sab badhiya hain ... and Nanheji, aap budhiya ho ... and Arnav smiles, he actually smiles wholeheartedly at that one. Setting Khushi's heart beating faster again, her own smile fading ... another look between them and the awareness is building back slowly and steadily ...
Barun and Sanaya really have fab chemistry ... and like I used to say for my other favourite couple, SRK-Kajol, these two say it all with their eyes.
Teatime at RM ... Slimeball Snake decides to skulk in his room, rather than face Buaji and the Gupta sisters, especially Khushi after his recent talking to from her ... he still hasn't formulated another plan yet.
So a light-hearted teatime where Nani and Buaji laugh at MB, Arnav and Khushi are sitting next to each other ... how did that miracle happen without another squabble? NK asks Khushi to show a dance step ... Khushi demonstrates, and both NK and Arnav are lost in her ... Arnav almost chokes on his hot tea. Awww again ...
NK maroes line on Khushi, to Arnav's annoyance, then talks about the person you see at 12 midnight at NY will be the person you spend your life with ... and Arnav and Khushi look simultaneously and immediately at each other, shock and horror!!! What - you?! As though they know that they will see each other first thing! Yet another awww!
And the set up - as Akash wants to take Payal on a date so he can see her face, Buaji and Nani nix it ... Khushi prays that she won't see Arnav, whoever else she sees ... makes the mistake of asking Devi maiyya .. Khushi, haven't you realised that whenever you ask to exit his life, Devi Maiyya promptly sends him hurtling right back into yours? Sign pe sign, sign pe sign ...
Arnav actually challenges Khushi - you will come in front of me at 12 midnight, I know it. And Khushi swears she will not!
My prediction - she will, of course, ... wearing Buaji's red lehnga, and will cover her face with the dupatta to prevent herself from seeing him ... and he will raise it ... *dream* ... another sign from Devi Maiyya ... that poor overworked lady can't even take a break on New Year's Eve!
This weekend is far too long! Can't wait for Monday already!

Rabba ve as expected for them it was as if time stood still well for others it was barely 30 seconds (editing ka kamaal, lol). Anyway good
thing NK notices them.
ROFL Scene: Shyaam hiding when he hears Buaji is in the house, he knows she can take him single handedly, THAT would be a scene na.
Nk'S hindi is becoming adorable by the day and it seems he is developing a crush on Khushi or is just that he is happy someone
understands what he is saying and corrects him without making fun of him.
Naani & Bua showed the DMasterni ki madam, you can terrify the younger ones, when it comes to dance, we are far superior especially Naani.
Arnav smiling at Khushi @ budhiya-badhiya.....awwwwwwwwww and she catches it and she is a bit surprised and he as usual runs off.
Now for the WT part: Since when did ASR start believing in astrology. If you ignore that logic that screams in your head, rest of those
scenes was damn cute. The first person both think of is each other and are shocked & a bit scared - What if it comes true and they indeed
have to spend rest of the life together PLUS the combination, why am I thinking about her/him?
Oooooh, ASR challenges her she will find someway to meet him at 12...AHA, he soooooooo wishes right that somehow it happens. I guess
just like us he knows unless some divine intervention of the above sort happens, inka milan khud ( I mean both of them here) ke bharosay toh honay se raha, lol.
And another WT moment this time for Khushi: For someone who could sense his presence even if he was out of her visoin, she could not sense
this guy staring at her sitting so damn close to her.COME onnnnn..
His choking on the chai cho chweeeeet...
So what will happen,my guess is NK will keep encouraging akash to go and meet her, akash will ask arnav's help, he will refuse thinking of khushi hesitantly ofcourse. Then NK will volunteer to go with akash, this way he can meet khushi too and BOOM, ASR springs into action, I will always be the guy in her life.
Jo bhi ho, 1 thing toh pakka hai, she would probably close her eyes or pretend to just so she does not see him and will trip, fall straight
into his arms right under a mistletoe*wink*
So while payash have their moment*yawn*, we get our arhi moment *heart racing moment*
I am sure if another rabba ve is going to happen on Monday, it will recreate the old magic maybe even better.

And another Lolzzz at Khushi ... maybe she wanted him to hear it, yaar! Her challenge to him, and his challenge right back ... will make for an interesting NYE, for sure!
I wrote my prediction above ... I want him to see her in the red lehnga ... surely Buaji hasn't introduced it out of the blue, it should be for a purpose, na?! ;-)
Apparently on Lalit Mohan (the director)'s fb page, he has posted a pic of the Diwal almost kiss, and also promised another big moment coming up soon ... so NYE should be a good one! Thank God it's not actually NYE - I would probably refuse to go out with my husband to sit and watch Arnav-Khushi's NYE instead!
Did you see the on location IPKKND segment on IF - Barun says Akash wants to see Payal on NYE, and he of course is refusing to go. So Payash are playing unsuspecting Cupids ... am sure NK will offer to go with Akash, and Arnav will leap in!

Dia, If we miss the moments so much, imagine arnav and khushi. They must be starved and usually for two people who jealously guard their moments this time they threw caution out of the window or should I say into the pool and decided, it has been too damn long, and if our family hasn't figured out anything yet, they won't anytime soon unless we get married or something.
ReplyDeleteLike you I wonder, how much it is the director and how much of it is the Actors improvisations, this is one secret we will never know.
And I guess one of the reasons Nani & Anjail fail to see it is to be fair to them is because of the history Arnav & Khushi. Most of the time the family members have seen Arhi fighting with each other bitterly, Arnav's taunts, Khushi's fightbacks and with Arnav's non-single status,I think it would not be that easy for them to recognize the tension for what it is. Maybe now that both are single, they might start to wonder. For the outsiders like the Madhubala or NK, they just view them as individuals and have no clue about their history, so it is easy for them to spot it I guess.
This Payash wedding might just be a catalyst for other members to catch on to the fact that there is more to Arhi than Arhi themselves realize.
Aww, Teatime a glimpse of the future perhaps with all the couples sitting together, so cute na. And yes, I think the writers missed a good scene by not showing atleast the hesitation on both their parts to be seated together.
Dia, I swear if your prediction comes true, One I will never say a word against Bua..well atleast for a week, lol and second that would be a great start to the year na, finally one prediction comes true and how.
Yes, the lehenga has to play some part here. Chances are the girls are up at midnight while everyone has gone asleep and Khushi is trying out the lehenga (plz let her hair be loose - cos that plus Red is a deadly or should I say is a Kissy Combination) and they are talking all excited and Akash calls Payal that he is waiting outside. Payal goes out and Khushi follows just for curiosity unaware that Arnav is around and tries to sneak up on them and Arnav immediately pulls her back, Duh..give them some privacy and the clock strikes 12...Rabba Veyyyyy..
Lolz at NYE..I know all my weekdays are planned around 8 o clock these days. We are supposed to be attending a get together next week and I am hoping like mad it doesn't clash with the next ME.
When will Monday come???

I agree with you about Anjali and Nani being blind - they do know Arhi's history and their bitter fights, so I guess it is a bit understandable. What is not understandable is Anjali not realising even after saying it in so many words, that Arnav always lands up listening to Khushi ... well, maybe not always - he didn't for the engagement party! So we can forgive Anjali for being blind, I guess! :)
And again, spot on about Arhi's new Rabba ve ... they were starved for those moments, so they just didn't give a damn. Duniya dekhe toh dekhe!
Something in Khushi's expressions as she found herself so close to Arnav seemed to indicate as much, as though she had finally found her place, had wanted exactly this, this was the reason behind those taunts and jibes ... she didn't want him to go away ... and the way she looked searchingly into his eyes, as though looking for the same sense of rightness that she felt ... did he feel it too?
Ditto you about the tea table scene too ... wish they had shown Arhi's hesitation about sitting together, especially after the Rabba ve and that shared smile ... again, I loved the look they shared there, when Arnav smiled, Khushi caught it and her own smile faded, as though she was just lost in his smile ... these two really speak with their eyes! I watched that tiny scene some 20 times!
Am posting a prediction of NYE ... lolzzz, with less than twelve hours to go for the episode - let's see how much of it comes true! With my track record, nothing, probably, but what the heck! *rofl*
