Changing shades of Khushi and Arnav ... will they stay fast or change again?

So Arnav and Khushi's equation starts changing again slowly ... especially from Arnav's side, as he sees Khushi in a new light. Loved the way he looks at Khushi, Khushi so completely happy to see her Jiji happy ... and Arnav seems bewitched seeing her so happy. And their exchange of looks again, Khushi looks conscious, and looks away, and he smiles ... the first of many this episode ...
Akash mentions Jijaji's special balm ...
Arnav Akash back home ... Akash is delighted, surprised that Arnav agreed to join in Khushi's plan, Arnav says he didn't ... *rofl*, no, he didn't agree, he was just swept away into it ... Akash says Khushi is a little crazy, isn't she?
Arnav looks after him with smile no. 2 on his face and in his eyes, soft reminiscent ... haan, pagal toh hai ...

Khushi imitating Akash, with Buaji's specs ... *rofl* ultracute ... Payal worried about family ... Khushi says confidently, Arnavji said he will handle it ... Payal says Arnavji is not what we thought, is he? Khushi's smile fades ... no, he's not ... how she wishes he was, because then it would be so much easier for her to hate him ... or pretend to. Loved that wistfulness and sadness in her eyes ...
Mamiji in action, has brought Miss India for Akash, Akash turns her down pronto, and tells mamiji he has chosen Payal ... wow, he really did grow a backbone! Expected predictable scene, with mamiji throwing major tantrum, but everyone else - Nani, Mama, Anjali and La - are happy ...Akash holds firm. Arnav is just staring in wonder ... pyaar aisa bhi hota hai kya?
Buaji says Shyam babua gave her a herbal balm ... Khushi has heard those words before ...
Mamiji blasts off ... rest of the family is quiet as usual ... Mamiji calls Payal and gives her an earful ... again, totally expected, unnecessarily long ...
Payal then calls Akash and says call it off ... Khushi hopping mad ... Arnavji said he would handle, what happened, what is he doing? She calls him, gives him an earful, he cuts the call, and Khushi goes "how dare he?!" and decides to confront lion in his den. Buaji confused ... what's going on with her nieces?
Mamiji in conference with family ... why did Payal complain to Akash? Mamiji shouts again, Akash loses his cool, and walks out ...
Arnav Khushi ... Khushi distraught, what are you doing? My sister is crying there, if you knew Mamiji is not going to agree, why did we do all this?
And Arnav realises she is upset, close to tears ... an echo of the hospital scene where he sees her upset behind the anger ... and this time, he can handle it ... he can comfort her, say what she needs to hear ... that he's there. He's there for her ... and that's all she needs to get her world back on even keel.
What will you say? Mamiji will say something, you will say something, then you will get angry ... and I know your anger ... see! You're already getting angry. Is this how you'll talk?

As she talks, his face becomes more and more disgusted ... you expect me to say all this? To mamiji?

And if she doesn't agree even after this filmy lecture, then? ... still with disgusted expression ... as though fully expecting mamiji NOT to agree ...and this time he wants his next dialogues well in place *rofl*
Not fazed, Khushi calls on another movie ... KKHH ... so then you say, kuch kuch hota hai, mamiji, aap nahin samjhengi ...
'What ... crap' ... So definitive, so disgusted, so totally Arnav!!!
Loved the byplay between Arnav and Khushi, Khushi lost in her dreamworld, Arnav firmly grounded ... come back, sweetheart, this time it's not gonna work ...
Khushi is annoyed ... look, my plans work better than yours ... and we both know that!
And they hear Akash leaving and the others calling out to him ...
Precap - no time to put another plan in place, so Arnav will try Khushi's ... *rofl* with lots of cues and prompting ... but this time, I have a feeling Khushi won't succeed. because Mami is not emotional like Payal, she's pragmatic and materialistc ... appealing to her better instincts won't work ... she has none.
