Broken trust - Arnav is wondering why Khushi is behaving the way she is? Has he not realised how close Khushi has gotten to La? Why she is so angry for La's broken heart, her broken trust? Yes, Khushi is angry, how can this man smile with his guests, carry on as though everything is normal, when he just shattered the world of a young girl who trusted him. He is back to being ASR with La, uncaring of everyone's feelings but his own. And maybe a carryover of her anger at her own betrayal, by Shyam, who has gone back happily enough into his world, as though nothing has happened, as though he hasn't just shattered the trust of two families.
So she lets out her anger on Arnav - as usual! And wisely, using some good sense, he drags her to their private place, otherwise she will let loose in public, without caring where she is and who overhears her. And he is not ready yet, nowhere near ready to acknowledge that what she says does make a difference to him, that he does want her to understand ... without telling her the whole truth, of course, a truth that he still hasn't fully faced himself.So his defences are very much up.
Don't talk about something when you don't even understand it fully.
I need to talk ... you have to tell me why you broke her heart.
He can't.
Or did you think that no one will ask you?
They all have, but he didn't want to tell them. He doesn't want to tell her either yet ... but he tries ... and she cuts him off ... Khushi, stop being contradictory! First you ask him to explain, then when he tries, you don't want to hear him!
But she doesn't want to hear him for another reason ... La's rejection has brought back to her, her own betrayal, do all men find it so easy to play with a girl's feelings? With her trust, with her emotions? A girl has to leave her home and family to go into a strange new world, she has only one person to place all her trust in to face that new world, and when that very person shatters the trust, how does that girl feel? How can she put her trust in anyone again?
And he knows she is talking about herself ... because of when she broke down about her fiance. And he listens quietly, because he wants to know, he needs to know ... when she's hurt, he wants to be there for her ...
She looks back at him fiercely. You won't understand ... how a girl feels when her rishta breaks, when her trust is shattered ...
And you do?
Yes, I do! Because my rishta has broken, and I have felt that hurt!
And he is shocked ... her rishta broke? Why didn't she tell him? How ... why ...? La and his broken relationship forgotten, it's all about her.
But she recalls herself ... she can't tell him ... she never meant to tell him ... Shyam, his sister ... how can she tell him the truth about how her rishta broke? And she can't take the emotion in his eyes ... she's not ready for it ... she runs ... from herself as much as from him.
I wonder if the break of trust part really registered with Arnav - the break of her engagement definitely did! And he does want to know what happened. How hard will he try to find out?
GH - Buaji for the first time, expresses her regret as to how she forced Khushi to marry Shyam. Ah, and in the party, Payal asked Akash what happened ... so their communication has started. Mami might have a tougher time on her hands than she anticipated.
RM - Khushi-La ... broken heart - Khushi not ready to let La leave, the girls squabble like kids, before breaking into smiles and tears. And La is still unable to tell Khushi what happened, and Khushi is still trying her best to understand.
Broken promises - Arnav is having an even tougher time with his family. Again, unable to tell anyone what happened, that he didn't fall out of love, he never was in love with La at all ... ever. He never recognised the emotion earlier. Now he is beginning to. And he can't tell anyone. Even his annoying pest of a sister, who claims to read his heart, but actually doesn't have a clue. So he keeps his temper with great difficulty - he has wronged La, wronged his family, but for their sake, he refuses to make a wrong decision. Or rather, refuses to carry through with the wrong decision he made earlier. Better late than never, he's turned back from the wrong route he took, now under no circumstances will he take that route again.
Khushi still trying to convince La to stay back, blaming Arnav, that he did wrong with La. Yes, he did, but La has no regrets ... no going back for her either. Again, very sweet scene, as La teases Khushi that she will come back for her wedding, and Khushi tells her about her broken engagement too.
Nani also talks about how La changed so much for the family, but realises that there has to be some bigger reason for the break.
Khushi tells La ... and both girls pause over their shared fates .. before Khushi, as usual puts on her cheerful face ... okay, our engagements broke, it's not the end of the world, is it? And sooner or later, they will both find their 'rajkumars' ... and then La will have to come for Khushi's wedding ...
And La remembers how worried Arnav was for Khushi when she went missing, how he regretted hurting Khushi ... how he was gazing at her as she danced ... Khushi has found her 'rajkumar', she just doesn't know it yet.
So La thanks Khushi ... for teaching her to love, how to win people over with love, the value of family ... and asks her for a favour. ASR.
Everyone tries to persuade Arnav, breaking a relationship is not so easy. And the surprise package - Shyam ... he refuses to persuade Arnav ... it's Arnav's life, he has the right to decide, and if he feels he is not happy with La, why should he stay with her?
Are these Shyam's real thoughts? About his own life?
And Arnav says, its better not to keep La in any dhokha, and again Shyam looks away. Arnav says, if I'm not sure about this relationship, how can I make such a big commitment? Better to break.
Am very worried about Shyam's expressions ... does he feel the same way? Will he want to sabotage his cash cow for his lady love? That would be a very good reason for an Arhi marriage for sure.
Khushi-La ... La asks Khushi to look after ASR for her. Because Khushi is the only person he listens to, even when he doesn't want to. Arnav himself doesn't understand what he wants ... but Khushi, you're smarter, aren't you?
Khushi doesn't understand. Or doesn't want to understand. But La goes on.
You will understand. Whether he does or not.
And then they hug. A really, really sweet heartfelt hug ... as La hands her love over to the girl he loves. And gathers together the pieces of her broken heart gracefully, with a smile.
Arnav's family still hasn't given up ... till La gives the final verdict. No, this relationship is over. Some relationships are just not meant to be. It's no one's fault - don't blame Arnav. And she bids everyone goodbye.
A last word to a still sobbing Anjali ... Don't blame ASR. He will marry when he feels the time is right.
And Arnav stares at La. How does she know.
La leaves, handing the mantle of tubelight over to Arnav and Khushi jointly. Nice farewell, cv's gave her a lovely send off, and Sana acted very well in the last few episodes. Loved her scene with Khushi today ... both girls went through so many emotions, and Sana did really well.
And the precap is *rofl* ... cannot wait for the episode! That bathroom is tiny!!!!

ARNAV:Khushi, why are you behaving like this?(Why are you so furious with me, I can't bear your tears or your anger especially when I am the reason for it)
Khushi: You have proved once again that you are ASR(Proving once again that the reason she puts up with his anger and insults esp during the farak padta hai track was cos she knows all of it was coming from ASR and not Arnav the guy she is in love with, ASR can be ignored, Arnav cannot)
I know the convo seems same, but they have come a long way. He is letting her question him about personal stuff, he is trying to explain, he is not brushing off, she is too caught up with her own emotions, her problems and her conviction that he loves her to notice the subtle changes in him?
She is angry, brushes of his explanations. He is incredibly patient trying to explain. What did you gain out of all this, she asks. He looks at her slowly(hoping, I hope I gain you from all this).
Khushi is all emotional (What is bothering her, Yes her friend got a raw deal, but what is bothering her more - That for the first time since she has known him he is single and she wouldn't stand a chance if he pursues her knowing her own feelings?)
She lets it out subtly that her trust got broken, but it was too subtle that her words might have been lost in the message that he received, woohoo - she is single too.
He asks her a personal question, why what happened, why didn't you tell me? The same questions she was asking moments before. She can't answer. Here I didn't feel like Shyam factor was the reason she walked off, it was just him and her and what future is ahead for them, dunno if I made sense here.
R family: Can't they see he is struggling with emotions,struggling to explain. Would he allowed to question him like this couple of months before, would he have even bothered to give explanations. The change in him has been so subtle that no one has noticed, sadly. Except LA.
Naani guesses too that there has to be a genuine reason. She has far more respect towards Arnav than Anjali who presumes it was his rash decision. I wish Naani finds out first what he feels for her.
LA: Final goodbye - a beautiful one. I have served the title of Tubelight for so long, now I want you both to share it. If she hinted to Khushi about ASR, her words that he will marry when he feels it is right was a subtle hint to him as well. They parted on good terms. Good to see in a SP Show.
Precap: Who cares if the whole thing sounds unbelievable. ARHI are back and I am so looking forward to see Smug, slightly flirty Arnav.
Also the new entry, the actor might be good, character wise, he would be there to irritate, annoy Arnav and make him jealous, he might become a good friend to Khushi, he might develop a Crush on her, me thinks Arnav is not going to like him one bit, lol.

ReplyDeleteWrote the post before I read yours fully, so let me see if our thoughts coincide.
Payal- Akash - yes ... Mami might have more of a fight on her hands than she anticipates. Payal may be quiet, but she might not be a complete doormat. And most important, she TALKS to Akash!
Arnav-Khushi - yep, he's bothered about why she's angry - did he expect her to jump into his arms once she knew he was single? *rofl*
Or more seriously, does he think that she has the same feelings foe him, so she should be happy that La is out of the picture, right? That he is finally doing the right thing ... they both know why he made that sudden announcement on Diwali night, he has finally accepted that he was wrong, so does he think she should recognise that he is making amends? By reversing that wrong decision? But he obviously hasn't realised that she is fiercely loyal to La, and right now she is more bothered about the wrong done to La than about herself and her feelings.
But I agree, their conversation showed that they have come a long way ... and he is trying almost immediately to reach out to her, to explain to her, something he would have thought unthinkable a few months ago. Now he wants her to understand, even though he is not ready to make a full confession yet.
As for why she ran away, I think it was because she hadn't meant to tell him about her broken engagement, mainly because it involved Shyam ... but she got carried away by her own feelings and let that out.
Was she overwhelmed by what this would mean to them? I think it was both ... she saw the concern in his eyes, and she wasn't ready for it, maybe that's when it struck her about the change in their equation, they are both single now ... and she can't handle it yet.
RM - Raizada family - again, the change in Arnav - he's holding his temper and trying to be patient, even though he can't tell them the whole truth - heck, he hasn't even really faced the whole truth himself. He just accepted that he's been stringing La along all the time, as a reaction first to Nani and then mainly to Khushi - he can hardly say that in so many words!
And yep, except for La, no one has really noticed the change ... that he even allows them to question him, and doesn't just walk off, but does try to explain as best he can.
Shyam's reactions I wrote above ... and my thoughts on those ... but I think they will come much later. First we have the fun track coming up, where hopefully Arnav will burn to a crisp seeing Khushi do masti with NandKishore!
And finally La leaves, handing over her khitaab of Tubelight to our clueless duo. Actually, not clueless, both are in various stages of denial!
So let's see where the new track takes us. The problem with Shyam was that he had to remain hidden, so we couldn't get a full fledged jealous Arnav track ... now this NK one should be fun! Don't have a clue what the actor is like - I did watch RBO off and on, but I didn't see the track with this guy. From the SBS, seems he will be a mast cartoon types, so am looking forward!
And precap is hilarious - I was laughing aloud! Khushi back to her masti, and a glowering Arnav swept along into it! We had BETTER get some Rabba ve scenes now!
Diya: First part beautifully written. You are right, he got the msg that she is single, but would he dig deeper, would he be tempted to find out about the idiot who broke her heart - the idiot who has ensuredf Khushi is single again..for him.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is on Shyam's exposure is, Arnav will slowly start noticing Payal & esp Khushi discomfort around Shyam cos they would be pretty free around the rest of the family. Also the dhobiwala might play a part here, remember when Anjali found out about the Ring, same way, Arnav may be around when the Dhobi guy returns the ring from his Jijai's Kurta. Arnav might recognize it as Khushi's ring, he would be surprised what it is doing in Jijaji's Kurta. Now I am hoping that Khushi tells him when asked that she threw the ring on his face. Even if Shyam tells he found it somewhere, Arnav would remember that this was the same Kurta Shyam wore on the pooja day, the same day Khushi broke down. Even if nothing gets confirmed, he would start getting suspicous..all this assuming Shyam would be exposed at all.
Also Shyam's reaction surprised me, he sounded wistful, if arnav doe sot wante to spend the rest of his life with her, let it be, he does not have financial concerns like I do. Like you I also thought the same, If he had the money maybe he would have done the same, dumped Anjali.
What if seeing Khushi around so much, he decides money be damned (highly unlikely)he tells Khushi, he will divorce Anjali. What if that is heard by Arnav? Too many possibilities.
With the new track I think the marriage track has been postponed for anohter 2-3 months I think.
It took a La for Arnav to realize his feelings, so maybe NK would be the reason for him to confess?
Payal-Akash: Shyam's exposure won't break them, they would be able to sort it out, but can the same be said about Khushi& Arnav. For Arnav it is his own Di and the love of his life, the choice would not be that simple. Which is why we can hope that Anjali makes it easy for him.
Arnav's reaction: Lol, ya he was too shocked too react I think. Oh good one more barrier out of the way,not that fiance of yours stood a chance when I am single.
Precap: I was Rofling, my 8 year old Daughter was laughing too, why is Khushi screaming like that and my 6 year old son had maa-beti ko kya hua expression?
My guess is she would have been teasing Payal about Akash how after marriage he would ask for the towel, like sisters tend to do, my guess is she would have been teasing khushi since morning and Payal would have left the room and in walks Arnav (Why I wonder, to take khushi or Payal along with him to RM/Temple/shopping or he just came to apologize to the Guptas(not necessary exactly) for any dampener his decision might have put on their celebration(Bitwa does not know yet the Guptas can be a selfish lot sometimes, even Khushi doesn't get spared) and this happens. Since the shirt is same, my guess is NK will be tapkofying today or tomorrow.
Finally an Arhi scene after ages...*eagerly waiting for that*
