All about getting ready for the sangeet ... so the Payash wedding is just round the corner?! Seems that Nani has forgotten her stipulations about Arnav getting married before Akash ... or was that just an engagement? Whatever ... lol ...
*edit* pretty much filler episode ... except that one of my wishes came slightly true, though not in the way I wanted.
So starts with Khushi annoyed with Arnav, refuses his offer of a lift, NK runs after her to escort her - thank god at least NK is proactive and doesn't take 'no' for an answer! Arnav is a waste! WHEN is he going to go after her even after her saying 'no'? Idiot!
(But I still love him *rofl*)
Arnav overhears Anjali and Nani discussing Khushi's broken engagement and the fact that she wanted to keep quiet about it till Payash and Arnav-La engagement was safely and happily done ... and Arnav feels bad.
Damn ... I wanted him to hear this from Khushi, added with her own upset about how he always misunderstands her ... but something is better than nothing, I guess! So Arnav feels bad about taunting her about her broken engagement - don't worry, Arnav, that girl can look after herself - she gave you back as good as she got already. But liked the way Nani said she hoped that Khushi was feeling less bad about it now, and Arnav remembered her tears - shit, he did it again, made things worse for her as usual in his drive to win their private war.
Okay, he redeemed himself slightly here ... loved his expression of regret in that fleeting moment. Barun's eyes are really very, very expressive ... am really liking him as an actor.
And he proceeds to redeem himself further by getting all hot and bothered about why NK was taking so long ... it doesn't take so long to drop Khushi ... *rofl* he should know.
NK drops Khushi home - did they walk all the way? And NK is worried about her change of mood, Khushi as usual puts it behind her, and swears yet again not to let Arnav affect her ... again, what I wanted, but I wanted Arnav to overhear that too *sulking*
So she puts on her smiling mask again and NK is happy. He's cute!
Arnav still pacing up and down waiting for NK ... yippee, finally the green-eyed monster awakes!!! And the moment an unsuspecting NK enters, he blasts him - where were you, why didn't you pick up my phone ... sounding like a angry dad *rofl*
NK makes the mistake of calling Khushi his date again, and Arnav is fuming mad!
Next morning, RM - Nani, Anjali, NK waiting for strict choreographer ... NK is definitely falling for Khushi ... hmm, not sure how I feel about this one yet. Cute way how Khushi figures out what NK means to say ...
Arnav enters and tries to apologise to Khushi ... maybe I shouldn't have spoken like that ...

Side note - people on forum want Khushi to feel regretful about what she did to Arnav's party. My question - what exactly did she do that spoiled it? She and NK served an additional two drinks, not removing the ones originally on the menu, they served a sweet again in addition to the food already there, the Thai dance took place as planned, it wasn't hijacked, the Desi girl was an addition. Yes, the introduction left something to be desired, as I already said. But what Khushi did was to ADD the desi touch, not replace the one already there. The party was not spoiled, the guests did not even realise that the additions were unplanned by Arnav, so his dignity wasn't compromised - now that I would have had a problem with. The only thing that Khushi actually did was to carry her private war with Arnav into the party, reprehensible - yes, but she did it in a way that only he and she knew about it, and no one else. Not even her accomplice, NK. And Arnav wasn't mad at all that, all he was angry about was that she seemed to be having a great time dancing with other people ... his taunt about her broken engagement showed that for him too, it was all about them, and no one else.
So if Khushi has to regret something, it's not spoiling his party - she didn't do that. She should regret that she carried their feud into the party and into the open ...
Which is why I wanted her regret to be that why did she let herself get so affected by what he said, by his hurtful words, by his hurtfulness in excluding her from the party in the first pace, by showing her again that she held no importance to him ... and regretting that her anger with him led her into doing what she did at his party ... and then deciding to henceforth ignore him. She did do that, in a way, by saying that she would not let his words hurt him any more, but I would have liked if that resolve was due to both her own actions and his words.
And that is why Arnav regretted his words, but did not really get angry with what she did ... because he also knew it was their own feud, and his contribution to it that made her do what she did. Payal's discomfort was just the trigger.
The rest of the episode was devoted to the strict choreographer - the lady trying very hard to act as strict as possible ... not a great actress, though. Khushi, NK and Arnav were the interesting ones to watch ... an inconsistency in Arnav's character here though - at the door he was so apologetic, then he comes into the room and is back to his angry ways? His regret never lasts too long, does it? Anyway, the equation between NK, Khushi and Arnav is laid out slowly ... how ever many times Khushi swears she will not let Arnav hurt her again, he manages to do that - now by saying he doesn't want to dance with her ... Arnav back to grouch, doesn't want to dance with her, amends it by saying he doesn't want to dance at all ... NK only to happy to jump into the picture ... Madhubalaji accepts NK cartoon as poor substitute for the real hero!
Liked the way NK was horrified at being called Khushi's bhai ... no, never!!!
Watching the filler episode as the family waits for the choreographer, and then after her entry, the good actors on the show are Barun, Sanaya, Daljeet, Nani ... NK is very decent, Akash is okay and Payal is bad ... could really see the difference in the scene where the dialogues were minimal and all the actors just had to fill in with their expressions ... Payal had literally one expression on her face all through.
And Arnav ne keh toh diya that NK can take his place, but when it comes to physical closeness in the dance, he's not so sure any more ... his what the heck just happened? expression matched by Khushi's expression of discomfort at NK's closeness ... this dance just got rather interesting. And if Arnav does not end up dancing with Khushi in the final sangeet, I will be very, very cross!!!

when he told Nk to answer the phone next time.....why do i feel that there is gonna be a next time.....as if, when he realizes his love but will see khushi happy and smiling with nanhe..he will sacrifice his feelings to get khushi and nk together...thinking that they are in love.....just like what khushi did for him and LA.......
also he let a good chance go waste, of dancing with khushi....but eventually they will end up dancing together.....will be a new years gift as per Lalit Mohan..speaking of which, New year is on Sunday so any idea whether we have a ME this sunday ?

Lean bhi nahin and Mean bhi nahin. Though I knew he wouldn't say it, but would have preferred, Khushi shut up and sit in the car or shut up and go with NK - Okay NK bit won;t happen.
And when she walked away from him after saying Shaayad, I half expected him to grab her and say let me finish Dammit. What yaar, did a certain vakil sahiba's petition actually work?
Khushi: Ooooooh, I loved her Shaayad? Equating that to a certain raizada's Oh Really? Aha, she is determined to ignore him and his taunts, even if it affects her, she will pretend it doesn't affect her but in the end she is going to enforce this point farak nahin padta...and even if it does, I will be damned if I show it to you that farak padta hai.
OTT Madhubala: I will grit and bear her if she is the reason we get Arhi dance. BTW, isn;t it funny, her bg score is more menacing than the one that is used for the main villain of the show. Er...Is it me or was she kind of drooling/hitting on Arnav in a weird way?
NK: Bro, hers never, no...cracked me up...Oh NK if only you knew. you will be her devar faster than you can get a grip over your hindi if you keep coming between your cousin bro and Khushi.
Anjali & Nani: Wanna bet they will intercept the wrong signals and try to get Khushi and NK together with Mami and to Mami;s utter shock Arnav adamantly opposing the idea and supporting Mami. Those scenes if they happen should be fun.
Rabba ve dance; I will never learn, so here are certain scenarios that I can come up with although I am very well aware of my prediction record.*wink* So here goes:
1. During the actual sangeet...Too far off and too many ppl watching not too keen on that - though they might end up dancing at the sangeet.
2. Preferred one - Tomorrow night or the day/night after. Arnav is agitated, RM is empty barring just these two( Have no idea where the rest of them have disappeared to, who cares right)
He comes down Khushi, she is winding up the things. Her usual taunts a bit too cheerily on how glad she is that NK is her dance partner and not the khadoos bhai. What a great dancer NK is blah blah. Arnav walks upto her and asks her for a dance.
I hope the Music director is working on a sensuous Rabba ve, unless there is going to be an actual song. Let us assume it is a passionate dance beat style Rabba ve.
He says no music or for whatever reason the cd player doesn't work. She says it is better, he would not be able to keep up with the music anyway (BS I hope you have practiced well unless you are counting on your expressions to do the magic, cos since I have not seen you dance and we all know how good SI is).
Okay back to the scene, it starts slowly, innocently although from his eyes, she is apprehensive and senses something else is about to happen. Brushes it aside and continues, till the dance picks up pace and slowly passion takes over to the moment both are completely lost in each other.
1. Here, both will come to their senses and back off a bit OR he backs off OR More likely, she remembers the last time this happened and she pushes him away confused and scared leaving him shocked OR they just don't stop and continue their unfinished business from Diwali night.

a. Akash/payal/anjali/nani witness this - chances of all or either one.
b. NK witnesses this, clips off whatever budding feeling he has for khushi and decides to be just her buddy.
c. Unfortunately, Snake walks in just that moment and realizes his path to attaining Khushi just got EXTRA complicated with Arnav now joining the game. A game Shyam instinctively knows Arnav can easily win cos Khushi too reciprocates the feeling. A perfect opportunity for Shyam to act fast and hopefully implicate himself.
d. No one witnesses anything and it just remains between the two..again.
None of the above happens as it mostly never does atleast the way I want it, lol.
Khushi was disgusted/didn't like it when Shyam tried to hold her hand.
Hopefully Khushi realizes when NK holds her even during the dance or casually, she does not feel a thing.
But when it is Arnav, irrespective of the emotion that they are going through at that moment, she is more aware of him and of herself.
Did I make sense here?
She knows but maybe this is a good way of reminding her and him too, that what they have, what they shared is something unique, special and even if they try to fight it, they won;t succeed.
Precap: My guess is maybe Anjali must have said it would have been nice if Arnav had danced with Khushi and Khushi being Khushi would sweetly say infront of Arnav, it is okay anjaliji, I will pretend heck we all can pretend NK is arnav.

ReplyDeleteI am really hoping that Arnav Khushi land up dancing together ... HOW bad a dancer is Barun that he can avoid dancing now? He can't be that bad, yaar ... he's acted in soaps before. Okay, till now, his character precluded his dancing, and Khushi's character includes her dancing, but for this do, they HAVE to dance together!
And I really hope he doesn't go the sacrificing my love for her happiness way - we already had that track with La ... don't want him sacrificing his love for NK! Especially as NK is a really sweet guy and actually seems to understand Khushi, unlike La, who never figured what made Arnav tick.

Anjali/Nani ... you know, I have a nasty feeling they will try their matchmaking, they were already smiling when NK denied being Khushi's bro so vehemently!
Your prediction ... do I want a sensuous passionate number on the actual sangeet - no. Do I want one in private - YES, bring it on! And apparently Barun has done a KKHH earlier, so that much he can do ... he'd better be practicing all right, cos SI is a fab dancer!
And if your prediction comes anywhere near true, I will send you kilos and kilos of laddoos and jalebis!!!
But my prediction - no audience, their romance continues to be as private as it is till now, right up until the Shyam exposure.
Also, if they reach anywhere near Diwali night, Khushi backs off, and remembers what he said to her at her house about her not being important ... so the audience comes to know WHY she has been so cool with him ever since ... because she can never forget those words. And hopefully, she actually brings them up, maybe with a role reversal about farak nahin padta to her too, so that HE also realises how deeply his words hurt her that night. Because till he tries to make amends for those, they aren't going anywhere ahead.
And yep, I got what you meant - Khushi (and Arnav too) have to realise that when NK gets close to Khushi, all they are bothered about is each other's reactions, rather than Khushi feeling anything for NK. A bit like the way they did it right at the end of the episode, when Arnav stops to look back at NK holding Khushi, and Khushi is more aware of Arnav looking at her than of NK holding her.
Maybe NK can witness something - not the passionate dance, and realise how things are between Arnav and Khushi and decide to back off and play Cupid instead ... again, no one else knows!

What if NK was not around, would he have let her go then all alone knowing Delhi is the worst place in the world for a girl to be traveling alone late at night? Same with the Dance, assuming NK was not around, would he have refused to dance with Khushi, after going all the trouble to get payash together,why be a spoilsport. Granted we might end up seeing them dance together at the sangeet but before that I want something private not with ppl watching them though I doubt even if everyone watched them, the janta that comes to RM shaadi or parties usually seems to have IQ n EQ levels of Anjali and La before she changed.
Like Geeta said, seems like this guy might just go the sacrificing route. I want the guy with the edge back, this somehow isnt going at all well.
Ya, Khushi will back off if it happens privately, if it is a public one I think somehow they will manage to pull it off, here is the thing though, if it is a public dance, even if no one can spot the way they look at each other, Shyam will know rightaway. For all his faults, this guy is unfortunately blessed with a better brain. Although Shyam knowing would make it that much more interesting, I would prefer if he doesn't know. You see I have my heart set on Arnav knowing and not letting Shyam knows that he knows and he and khushi working together again to expose Shyam. Although I do admit while all this happens, I am hoping Anjali surprises us just the way La did. Let us see.
Oh and I don;t know I guess I am the only one, but somehow I didn;t get the feeling she was looking at Khushi. Yes, she looked uncomfortable but I felt it was more in general cos her family is around. See she was looking at the choreographer and Arnav was behind her, that is what the feeling I got.
Can I be honest, she looked more awkward and more bothered about arnav's reaction when she knocked into Shyam's room at her home during the rishta thing than now. Now she is effectively ignoring him.
I miss the spark, the passion they had for each other. It looks a bit thanda to me now so hopefully the dance and close proximity might just bring it back to me. I know he is still sorting out everything and she wants to ignore him so it explains the cold vibes they shared but the thing is even at their bitterest fight,that spark and passion was always visible. Let us see what happens tonite.
My guess is if NK finds out he might fake an injury during the sangeet and forces Arnav to do the dance.
SI will eat him alive, if it is a typical dance. So BS better be practicing hard.
Hey shwetha, dia........even i want a passionate dance between ArHi, with minimum movement for Arnav, as i think proper dance steps might look out of character for him....also little movement with passionate eyelock is something BS will manage very well, didn't like his dance in the dance contest epi of BHPH...

even i got the feeling that khushi wasn't looking at Arnav........she was awkward cause Nani and the elders were around..........yeah she has managed to ignore him so much......that it almost feels like she has moved on........

ReplyDeletenow that nani knows bt khushi's engagement being called-off....if NK shows little interest, Nani would be more then happy, i want a scene where during breakfast everyone is teasing NK bt khushi and Arnav looking on with a shock expression........maybe then he will realize that though he loves her, his reaction is so opposite that his people will never realize his feelings for her....but then, if they show a awesome friendship between Khushi and NK, then Arnav may think that NK is better for khushi then Him.......so the sacrifice, where he warns NK to "keep her happy otherwise " and then if khushi over hears this......waah......that would be an awesome scenario without Arnav conveying his feelings in word

Agree with you both, I don't like this thanda watered down version :((( And Khushi is also ignoring him big time ... :((( :((( We need those sparks back, the ones they had through the first few months of the show. They had better bring them back now! I can understand while both were engaged to other people, the cv's kept them low ... Indian conservative audiences would not take kindly to that ... and OMG, seeing the reactions of people on the forum when Khushi just danced with NK, makes me feel maybe the cv's and channel are right!

And I really don't want Shyam to know about them - somehow I think that would be the most dangerous situation, where Shyam would play Arnav and Khushi against each other and he is expert manipulator, we know that. So things would only worsen between Arnav Khushi if he knew. Right now he's lying low, but he will be back with a bang after New Year, or maybe even before - Anjali was trying to call him, and Madhubala made him a part of the show all right.
