Arnav still worried about Khushi.
Buaji grumbling that Khushi left before they returned - she has a point if Khushi left Shashi babu unattended. Khushi still untraceable.
Khushi talking to her Devi maiyya ... expectedly. Does she trust Shyam's lies any more, or not? No, she will tell Anjali for sure, even though it will hurt her deeply. And Payal's marriage? So many ramifications of this one lie. Show me the way, she asks ... and Arnav calls.
Don't you ever, EVER do this to me again, samjhi tum? Kabse phone mila raha tha ... tumne phone kyun nahin uthaya? Kitna pareshan ho gaya tha main ...
She's wondering ... at his anger? his concern? as to what to tell him? He knows she was upset, she can't even hide that, but what should she say?
She's silent too long for him ...
Khushi, talk to me ... tum theek ho? Kahan ho tum?
That she can answer truthfully.
Hum bilkul theek hain, mandir mein hain.
He closes his eyes with relief. He should have known.
You don't need to worry ...
It's not the worry ... not really, it's just that he knew she was upset, she wouldn't talk to him, she left, he needed to make sure she was all right and when he couldn't, he was going frantic. Not just worry ... too small a word.
But of course, he can't tell her that.
There's so much work here, how could you just leave like that?
She wonders again. Did she imagine that worry in his voice? But why would he worry about her?
I had to go ... I'll talk to you later ... strained, tense ... what can she tell him ...? And is he angry again?
He isn't ... or if he is, it's with himself. He still doesn't know why she was upset ... he just knows she still is. And why won't she tell him?
And La overhears the entire conversation ... and sees his worry. Never seen before ... not for her, at least.
Khushi reaches home, still wondering what to say and do. Only to find that Shyam, the master manipulator has been there before her. Nobly, he has confessed his truth. Because he knew it would be out the moment Khushi got back home. Might as well gather as many Brownie points as possible.
Hoping for forgiveness? He's not getting it.
You told the truth? Thanks for nothing.
Buaji spares a few tears of recrimination as to how she could have been such a fool. We agree!
Buaji curses Shyam for getting engaged to Khushi while being married ... Khushi doesn't even want to talk about it. That relationship is dead. But tomorrow she will tell Anjali.
They should have kicked Shyam out of the house, boriya bistar samet, with full drama! As much drama as he created to ensure that disgusting engagement! Would have liked all the mohalla valas to witness his downfall, and it would have added more witnesses.
Shyam's last gamble ... but how will it affect the Akash Payal rishta? Think about it. Said with crocodile tears and patently fake concern for Payal. But his poison finds one target - Garima.
Fortunately the others are made of sterner stuff. Although Garima is scared that Payal's rishta will break yet again, Payal is firm. Let it break. So are Buaji and Khushi. They cannot deceive the Raizadas. They cannot and will not hide the truth. No relationship can work if it based on a foundation of lies.
But why Khushi? Why does the youngest in the house, the 18 year old girl have to take this responsibility? Shouldn't the entire family, especially Buaji, who was responsible, go to make that confession?
Payal Khushi - poor Khushi feeling bad again that because of her, Payal's marriage is again in jeopardy. But it wasn't her fault the first time, and it isn't this time either. Payal reassures her ... a relationship can't be based on a lie. And it's not Khushi's fault.
Khushi tries to reassure herself that Akash will not break the rishta. Payal tells her, whether he does or doesn't, it won't change the truth. Good for Payal, but why can't she go with Khushi and tell Akash herself also? He's her fiance, isn't he?
Next day, Arnav still lost in thoughts of Khushi ... she was upset, why was she upset, is she still upset, she was crying ... He doesn't even concentrate on his call, he has to ask Aman to repeat ... and fix his meeting for 16th. La wandering in, is shocked.
Why is she shocked?
16th is their engagement.
He had forgotten. The date of his own engagement.
La asks, had you really forgotten or does it just not matter to you?
He tries to apologise ... and as he remembers all he did to Khushi, the words suddenly start tumbling out. He never meant to hurt her, and always regretted it when he did ... always ... I never did it intentionally, Khushi ...

And La, who was beginning to smile with relief at his heartfelt words, feels her world comes to a stop suddenly. Or maybe not so suddenly after all. The crystallisation of a realisation that has been growing inside her for days.
ASR ... it's Lavanya.
Quietly spoken, dignified, hurt, yet contained. You've got the wrong girl. In more ways than one.

@La: Looks like the engagement is still on from SBB...Damn tubelight flicker hua and lagta hai either short circuit ya power breakdown. This is the 3rd time he has called her Khushi, Wake up girl and smell the Aromatherapy oils.
@Arnav: I am slightly losing patience with the guy..just a bit, Make up your mind dude, Ya toh issay chodo ya ussay. Frankly the SBS interview of Sana & Sanaya leaving Barun and him standing all alone still haunts him. Is that what is going to happen, La will leave and he will have to let go of Khushi due to his Di?
@Khushi: The two men in her life who genuinely love her - one is not in a position to speak and the other always speaks the wrong things at the wrong time to her or to someone else. Hai Devi Maiyya raksha karo

ReplyDeleteliked yesterday's episode......loved the way Arnav was concerned for Khushi....and the way he scolded her when she answered his call......you are right.....its not just worry......i wonder what will he do, if something really bad happens to her........
was happy to see LA standing there, but i had my doubts as to whether she heard the whole conversation, then saw the part again, and realised that she was mumbling chamkeeli when he finished his convo......so she knows that it was khushi at the other end........
also khushi should tell the whole thing again to her family, just to be sure that they are on the same page, god knows what the creep must've told them.....and how can they allow him to wheel Bauji in the hall........
was also upset with Garima, she really doesn't care for khushi at all.......not even one word of concern.....
simply loved the last scene......Barun just stole it....you give him a chance and he'll make gold out of everything.........Sana was good.....her last dialogue was good.....
overall.....i loved the way IPKKND is headed.....till date the cv's have managed to surprise us quite a bit......they have really raised our expectations

@ Correction ... it was "Don't you ever, EVER dare do this to me ..." after that, I kind of lost track too ... I was melting in a puddle somewhere! How did Khushi stay standing is beyond me!
@Guptas got my goat ... why did they even allow the guy to stay inside the house after he had told them? And how did they allow him to wheel Shashi babu out? And why didn't they slap him to kingdom come? And why make poor Khushi do the dirty job of telling Anjali, when it was all Buaji's fault for letting the guy in as a PG in the first place? And ... you get the drift, am spluttering with anger here!
@La ... if she actually goes ahead with the engagement after this, I will throw something at the screen! Seriously! The only thing keeping me going is that she will NOT get the Maa ka kangan, so am dead sure the engagement will not happen. But there will be major drama during it, of that I'm sure! And I do think this is paving the way for her exit ... as Arnav's fiancee ... she might stay on as Khushi's friend, to which I have no objection at all.
Have to add, though - I liked the way she said, "ASR, it's Lavanya." Bechari ka munh chhota ho gaya, and still she managed to maintain some dignity.
@Arnav ... this fellow can't open his mouth without putting his foot in it! First time kuchh achha kiya - called Khushi and told her he was worried about her. Phir was it absolutely necessary to add that he wanted her for the engagement work only? *head desk* *head desk* *head desk* Devi maiyya, send some signals to this guy also, and preferably hit them hard on his head, he's not going to understand anything remotely subtle!
@ Khushi ... first things first, why does she not tell Anjali the truth? Have to wait till tonight to find out :( But poor girl is really unlucky in the range of men who really love her for sure! Devi maiyya kare bhi toh kya kare!

ReplyDeleteYep, me too enjoyed yesterday's episode, and the story is making so much progress now! Even though we get Slimeball scenes, but they are actually necessary for progress, not just the Shashi torture ones which were so horrible to watch!
As I said to Shwetha, pata nahin when Arnav ki tubelight will light up! And I have been rooting from the beginning for Shyam to do something really dangerous with Khushi, so Arnav has to run to her rescue, only then will we see some progress there, when he really feels he is in danger of losing her for good. Losing her to an unknown stranger didn't seem to have much impact except to make him just nastier!
And I do feel La is on her way out ... they have been concentrating on her suddenly in the last two episodes ... the engagement will happen this Friday which is just two more days. We can expect some dhamaka for sure!
Garima really annoyed me ... straightaway only about Payal, at least Buaji was upset about getting Khushi engaged and showed some remorse ... Garima was just about -"what about Payal's rishta?"
Yep, Barun and Sana were both very good in the last scene ... the whole cast is really doing so well and that adds to the beauty of the show! And without any saas-bahu drama, without any grand wedding drama, without any songs and dances, it's still high on TRP's ... it's purely the story which has started moving again that is keeping it going! Which is why we don't get ANY hints on SBS/SBB till literally the day of telecast.

True Arnav needs to be given a smack too and yaar in logon ki ek batti nahin puray raizada mansion ka electricity connection use karkay unki tubelights jalegi. As for Anjai, I think she would use up whole of Delhi's power.

@Guptas: Yes they should have thrown him and his baggage out after beating him in all rainbow colors ( Buaji can take him with one hand I am sure)and how did they let him go inside and fetch bauji. Not even one single thought for Khushi - not even by Payal, agar tumhari shaadi us creep say ho jaati toh..You know that is why she puts up with Arnav , atleast the guy does not expect anything from her.
La: I think she is not going anywhere till the engagement.Maybe all the spotlights including the one Arnav has just for Khushi might do the trick. You know I was kinda hoping the Nainital trip where Arnav says he & khushi got married etc. woudl come to haunt them than La's dramatics. Let us see what happens.
Arnav: I know right, he first says pareshaan and then says kaam..No wonder Khushi is so confused.
By the way with Khushi's single status, I hope he realizes the ball is in his court now. And after La's exit, Single ready to mingle ASR wooing Khushi would be awesome na cos From day one ASR has always been the guy with a GF. Maybe now she will react to him a little bit different.
@Anjali: That mangalsutra dialogues would probably shut Khushi up unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteFirst things first ... as I said in my Wednesday's post ... most important thing is that Arnav and Khushi are single and ready to mingle again! And I want some wooing now!
Mangalsutra and Anjali's hysterics did the trick ... though to be fair to Khushi, I never felt it was right for her to have to break the news. How does you tell a woman that her husband has been planning to cheat her and marry you?! It is NOT an easy thing to do ... and I'm still furious with Buaji for not taking this responsibility ... after all, she let Shyam into their house, she should be the one owning up!
La is there for the song ... I think she will stay around ... move out of RM, and be a friend to Khushi.
And I still loved Arnav's "ever, EVER ..." dialogue ... pehli baar bande ne kuch sahi kiya!
