Rangrasiya - 26th-31st May ... Epi 106 - 111

Post for the new week, including the ME on Saturday.

Monday 26th May ... Tum Paas Aaye
Lovely episode today, good balance of romance, comedy, drama and emotions. Sanaya did say in a recent interview that the passion quotient hadn't even started, it was going to come in ... she was right. The passion is just about starting now.

Loved all the Parudilicious scenes ... starting with the first ... paas aayiye, door jaayiye ... paas aayiye ... seems like a foreshadowing of things to dome ... especially when Rudra asks Paro, how many times will you tell me to go far ... and she says,  just once more ... Also her words, door to jaan hi hoga ... an indicator of her vow to Bholenath ... and an upcoming separation.
That was one sensuous sari folding session! The way their hands were touching, releasing, moving reluctantly away, then coming close to touch again ...

Then Paro's trip, Rudra's failed catch and fall ... and the blue dye ... Rudra's uninhibited laughter ... and Paro's shy wonder at this new, unfamiliar sight ... before she too dissolved into soft, sweet giggles ... delighted at seeing her man happy for the first time.

One of the most important things in a relationship is laughter .. laughing together, teasing ... and it was significant that it was Paro who released the carefree laughter of Rudra, that was caged inside him for the last fifteen years ... caged so tightly that Rudra felt embarrassed to be seen laughing by the other family members, and stopped as soon as he realised he and Paro were not alone ... with Paro, he can laugh, smile ... but not as yet with anyone else.

Dilsher's face when he saw Rudra laughing ... his choked emotions ... his heartfelt thanks to Paro ... loved the small Dilsher - Paro scene. The emotions of a father who knows he has gone very wrong with his son ... but sees his son getting a second chance at life because of a young girl ... his gratitude to that girl is the foundation of the deep affection he holds for her, because she has saved his son's soul.

Paro washing the blue dye off Rudra's face  ... another soft, uninhibitedly sensuous scene ... both actors were par excellence in this scene. The awakening of new unfamiliar feelings of passion in Paro, the blazing heat in Rudra's eyes, passion he has known before, but not this type ... for once, he is not in control, he loses himself in the soft touches, the gentle caresses as Paro wipes his face clean of the dye, her touch lingering more than needed, her hands moving slowly, softly ...
And he recollects himself only when Paro reminds him ... he came to give her something, what?
Her earring ... and suddenly it's important that he put it on himself ... he remove the one she's wearing himself, and switch it with this one ... a memory of their memorable night in Jaipur.
But when she asks, you kept it safely all this time? ... he doesn't answer ... he never answers any of Paro's awkward questions.
Not that it stops her asking them ... not getting an answer is an answer in itself ... as her shy barely there smile says.

In the meantime ...
Samrat gets his first order in his new business, and runs to celebrate with Maithili ... sweet Maithili-Samrat scene.
Laila and Sumer try to outdrink each other ... Sumer gets maudin about missing his mother and home, Laila offers that he marry her and they can go back together.
Sumer laughs at her suggestion ... much to Laila's fury. Another man who is ready to touch her, feel her up ... but she's not good enough for anything more than that. And she tries to goad him, shame him into the idea .. but he's not buying it.
Yet.

PaRud ... as usual, Paro is nothing if not tenacious ... so back to the subject fascinating her. She wants answers, in words, please ... none of this, my actions speak louder business ...  towelled dry, she asks Rudra again ... can I have my earring back, the one you just took off?
Rudra doesn't want to give it back ... he likes having something of hers with him always.
Fortunately for him, Maithili interrupts ... much to her embarrassment ... and sweet cupid Maithili makes up for her interruption by giving Rudra the excuse to take his wife out on a date ... to buy vegetables. Kaddu is urgently required in the house.
Maithili is a sweetheart!
Rudra realises what she's trying to do, and cooperates immediately ... he'll go buy the kaddu ... no, he doesn't know anything about vegetables so Paro has to come along ... Paro shouldn't go alone, she might get lost ... Paro looked baffled at that one ... so Maithili has to physically beat some sense into her ... this is a date, bewakoof ladki! Get ready and go with your hubby!

Laila in the marketplace ... swinging along in a temper ... some strange man wrapped in a blanket in the desert heat, recognises her as Rudra's khabri,  Laila is kidnapped!

While Paro and Rudra are happily enjoying an ice cream date.

Tuesday 27th May ... Ranawat Family Woes
So the PaRud marriage continues to deepen and strengthen ... small things that make up the fabric of life, humdrum shopping, bargaining ... Or rather, Paro bargaining while Rudra looks on indulgently and amuse duly, his pride apparent as Paro blithely declares herself the wife of a BSD major, and then self-consciously peeps at him to see if this bravado is acceptable, or will he bite her head off for her daring ... Her confidence grows with every step, every time Rudra's anger does not erupt to silence her ... An exuberance, a childlike delight emerging from within the earlier quiet staid Paro ... For Paro wore her soft smile and demure exterior as a mask to hide her own sorrows as much as Rudra wore his ever present anger to hide his. And now both their masks are slowly peeling away.

In the Ranawat haveli, in the meantime, Mohini's insecurity grown deeper as another one of her children goes away from her. First Sumer was thrown out, more by her own greed and selfishness than anything else ... and now Samrat wants to emerge from the shadows to do his own thing. And to Mohini's mortification, everyone else in the family seems to know and support his ambitions ... except for herself. Mohini's control over her family seems to be unravelling slowly and steadily.
While Dilsher, with the wisdom that age and experience ... and his own lifetime of regrets ... taught him ... tries to play peacemaker and family elder for the first time ... not replying to Mohini's barbs with his own for once, but instead trying to make peace.

Paro and Rudra share a gola date ... Again Paro's exuberance to the fore as Rudra indulges her ... You saved ten rupees with your bargaining skills, so I can afford an ice cream for both of us. And Paro tries to choose ... so many colors, so many flavours, she wants them all. Much like herself ... wanting to try all the colours that life has to offer, while she has the opportunity ... for tomorrow she might have to leave Rudra, and only have the memories to live on. So she wants to make as many memories as she can, enjoy her time with him, as much time as her Bholenath allows her.

Not too much time ... Laila interrupts again ... by her absence rather than her presence. Just as Paro asks Rudra another pointed question he doesn't want to answer ... Why did he take leave from office?
To take her to the doctor, of course.
But they've been back from the doctor for four hours, he didn't go back to office ... Why?

An embarrassed Rudra isn't ready to answer ... saved by the bell. Or by the phone ... Laila is missing.

Paro and Rudra in the BSD office, where Rudra is sure Laila was doing drama all along ... Paro is saddened that he still finds it difficult to trust anyone.
Aman comes with evidence that Laila did in fact escape ... she left bolsters in her bed to fool her guards and the window is open. Faced with this proof, Paro has to let go her faith in Laila's goodness ... and she returns home, deeply upset that Laila was trying to fool her all along ... she remembers the other girl's confidence that she knew Rudra so much better than Paro did, her honeyed sympathy towards Paro ... all of it was false. Laila was trying to deepen the wedge between Paro and Rudra so that Paro would lose her confidence and step back from Rudra's life ... Rudra knew it, and tried to tell Paro so, but Paro could not see it. Again she put her faith in the goodness of people, only to have it betrayed.
So Paro determines that she will trust Rudra from now onwards ...

What will happen when they discover that Laila was in fact kidnapped by Thakur? Will they believe her this time, and get fooled by her again? Or will this be a case of Laila crying wolf?

Thakursa is back!

I liked the episode on the whole, because the entire cast was brought in, and the parallel tracks were given due importance and space. Probably because Ashish is busy with JDJ, so his time constraints mean that other tracks were needed. Something good emerging out of JDJ after all. However, the episode was rushed ... with so much happening, they need to slow down on all the scenes.

  1. 26TH MAY.EPISODE 106:A MUST WATCH ROMANCE,COMEDY,SUSPENSE EPI.

    [SHWETHAAAA!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU?????]

OK,so since no one seems to be around,i will try to give a short update of today's epi.dunno if i'll be able to do full justice to such a good epi.

    ROMANCE.

started with paas aayie..,door jaayie..paas aayie.seems like banna can't stand to hear door jaayie and impatiently asks how many times does he have to go door?must say loved ashish's expressions with each paas aayiye, and during the whole sequence, paro baisa was visibly nervous.

so,soon rudra's paro is back to 'ladakthi zyaada' mode, and while stabilising her, both fall making rudra all neela neela like ujala.[waisey that looked more like ujala and less of dye],and rudra,to the complete astonishment of everyone,BREAKS INTO LAUGHTER followed by paro, sunehri,an annoyed kaakisaa and a very emotional baapusa.

finally,in the next scene of paro washing off the colour on rudra,the-so-called-passion drops in,though shortly,[ and with some very good expressions from ashish's side] ,the viewers could literally feel the budding romance from rudra's side and for once,BG bhaiya does his job pretty well.

maithili, the official match maker though turned KMH for few moments, instantly compensated that by sending paro-rudra on a date, making sure that her devarjisaa's chutti does not go waste and cutely admonishes her behna for her foolish behaviour.

have to say, loved this scene and was glad to see all the cast back!can watch the family scenes anyday over laila.

    COMEDY

no prizes for guessing, the SULA dance of the day.

sumer's reaction to sula marriage was also no less comic,so laila does not want sumer to know abt her and rudra and irks sumer big time by taunting him almost endlessly, and leaves in a huff leaving behind a fuming sumer.

    SUSPENSE

laila is really kidnapped by someone[who?] in the baazar bcoz of she being rudra's khabri.

    other points.
*samrat gets his first big order, thanks to dilsher, and brings gifts for everyone, leaving mohini really annoyed. [actually left me wondering,is she jealous of her own son's success/bcoz dilsher was behind it?]

*parud reach baazar, paro pulls rudra's leg, rudra excuses himself to kaddu purchasing,of course,to avoid paro's qns.

    PRECAP:parud's gola party.[title courtesy sbb/sbs]

    some qns.

1.so is tejawat finally back?if not, then who kidnapped laila?dunno much but i think they are indeed heading to mala track.

2.if laila is going to be kidnapped, what'll happen to sula marriage and laila's re-entry?if they're wrapping up the track, then i'm more than happy.

3.can someone pls explain what the new ME promo means?wht d'u all think will happen?

4.finally,WHERE DID EVERYONE DISAPPEAR?i know, its normal for R&R to go shaant over weekends, but on weekdays too!!

    1. Muuahhhhhhhhhh....Ratna Excellent update.

Haven't watched the epi yet, sorry for being MIA, will tapkofy later if I can.

      Laila kidnapping could be Aman.

He would have found out, she was missing and sent out people to look for her.

    2. Ratna, fab update ... loved it!!!

Just caught the episode today ... updated my take.

I liked the Sumer Laila scene today, mainly for Sumer's acting. Ankita still seems to be trying too hard ... although she was better with Sumer than she has been with Mohini, Paro and Rudra. Even Maithili outshines her.

I was very glad that Sumer said no to Laila ... but I think she will manage to wriggle him into changing his mind. But now that she has been kidnapped, not sure of that one.

    3. Great take, Ratna.

I doubt they would wrap up the Laila track this early. More than anything, it is getting the numbers. Maybe she would be missing a few episodes, and come back all guns blazing.

Read an article about her teaming up with Tejawat. Whatever happened to SuLa? Did not want to see her full time in the haveli. Glad about that.

Maybe, the writers have not decided on this yet. Too many conflicting articles.

  2. Thanks Ratna for the update. Even I was wondering why Dia's cafe was so quiet. Just caught today's epi and you are right - it was a real masala epi - something for everyone!

I found the 'kidnapper' prowling through the marketplace rather funny - I mean, who walks around the bazaar in this heat, with a dark grey chadar in the middle of the day????? He sure looked invisible, didn't he? ;) Truly, a fun watch!!!!

Also Laila's lie becomes her truth..................I guess the "entriyaan" song heralded Tejawat's return................yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I really like all the parallel tracks that the PH is introducing - makes RR much more fun to watch.

Shwetha - where are you ? I understand why Dia is MIA, but you?

Sorry I have been away for a few days, a public holiday weekend in my part of the world with very little internet connection.
Haven't caught the episode yet but will try and come back later.
    Take care all

  4. Awesome update Ratna. Thanks. Since it's a holiday here- I was able to watch the episode on iPad right after it aired. Yay! Enjoyed it. Loved the romance, Maithili-Samrat, loved that KCM was annoyed both with Rudra's laughter and with Samrat's success because of Dilsher.
Sumer's reaction to Laila's proposal was hilarious. And we thougt he would be thrilled. She got back at him tho by insulting him.
It sounds like Tejawat is behind the kidnapping as Sumer would not know Laila is Rudra's khabri. So looks like laila's lie came true.
Enjoyed Maithili's plan at setting them up. She's too cute. Between her and Suneheri, paro will learn very quickly.
Ratna - from what I read on IF, the ME is a merge of Beintehaa and RR. I also read that the couple's confess or come close to confessing their love before there's a fire/ blast. Not sure how much is true.

Shwetha - tu kahan hai? Manne hassna hain :)

      Achchay din indeed have come.

Paro and Rudra seem to be giving hint to each other.
Samrat starts a business and gets profit within a week.

Mohini is going to get a new Bahu.
Sumer will get a fellow rider on his tractor wala dil.

Dilsher has become Start up Mentor.
Forget Rose ka Phool, Kaddu (ka phool) is the new cupid Yo!

More if I can watch the episode later, lol

  5. Loved today's episode.
Rudra and Paro laughing together was just too cute and so good to see with them closing the distance with lots of shy romance.
Laila has burt her boat with Samrat, she thought she only needed to flash her eyes and flirt and he would be putty in her hands. Reality check for her. It's going to be harder than she thought to get back into the house with Rudra and Paro.
Romance lessons from the two cupid sister in laws steering Paro in the right direction to get her man, and it seems to be working as Rudra is more than willing to spend time with his very adorable wife, and he seems to be relishing every minute.
More romance on the way please with no Laila for a while (her overacting is just too much and uncomfortable to watch).

    1. Lin - "No Laila for a while" - I second that. Even today with Sumer - she was OTT. She just does not come off as a natural vamp :)

I am loving the parallel tracks. I do hope they continue with them and don't leave them hanging. Mohini needed a smack for insulting her son (and daughter-in-law) and she got it with the fact that Dilsher gave Samrat the money. Love it!

    2. Lin, ditto on no Laila for a while but chances look slim:(

  6. Lovely take, Dia. Its great to read a detailed take by you. Hope you are enjoying your vacation.

Good to see the hulchul on the blog. It was awfully quiet all weekend.

Nice episode. Agree with everyone here, it was a balanced one with a bit of everything. A couple of symbolisms and a few poignant scenes. The 'door to jaan hi hoga' was foreboding the separation. Like the small Paro-Dilsher scene. The father realized the amount of damage he has inflicted. The earring scene... Rudra always feels the need to keep a momento of the good times. Behind the tough exterior is a man starved of love.

Coming to Sumer-Laila, I somehow found Laila more tolerable today. She does better in 'somewhat normal' scenes than the 'vamp' ones.

First things first, Tejavat is back....Asli wala
#On diet eating my words .........Yup, The actor is back.

    Chalo.

So that means there is a very good chance that we might get to see the intended story*Phew*

Secondly, Introducing VC Alert....aka Vaccum Cleaner alert for all my future writings.

I realized while writing just now that how efficiently I am capable of sucking out the romance or emotions in a scene.

So yeah, the point, is when I say VC Alert, please understand, there were lots of emotions which were great, I just suck at writing about them. Kindly excuse and adjust:)

Writing in Random order as I remember them.

Tejavat is back. He is the one who kidnapped Laila.
    Why did he kidnap Laila?
Does he think that she has some sort of hold on Rudra ?
    or more likely
    A deal-
    I want revenge on Paro.
    You give me Paro.
With Paro out of the picture,
    You can have Rudra.
Ofcourse dumb Laila will believe him.

If this was a movie I would have say, she will realize her mistake and die saving him #melodrama at its best.

    Paro & Rudra

    *VC ALERT*

    #Life has its exceptions moment.

Rudra's BSD training works all the time except when it concerns Paro.

    # Economy will get better moment.

    *VC Alert over*

Will just say I absolutely loved the family scene.
Waiting for the day the next time Mohini is mean to Maithili, Samrat stands up for Maithli.

#All that glitters in not gold moment.

    Yup Mohini is back.
The gold one....asli & best one at her meanest best.

#This ought to be fun moment

Mohini is beginning to get worried that she is losing her control over her home, her family.

    #Kaun udayega Kabootar moment.

Mohini still hung up on Kaun udayega Kabootar moment #next generation.

What do they know - What is happening in their next generation?
    Nothing.

Yup, Paro finally realizes she was wrong about Laila. After coming this close to giving me a zor ka jhatka, she regrets not trusting Rudra.

    1. shwetha,
as usual, fab update, but why did u limit urself in one post.no comments abt the precap/future track?

and don't go MIA at all,we all are so used to reading ur and dia's comments everyday.

talking abt epi,for me,the precap was the best, followed by tejawat's re-entry scene, was really glad to see tarun khanna back in the show, could not really imagine anyone else as thakursa.

i,for one,did not like dilsher's soft, sad, emotional reply to mohini's taunts.why couldn't he reply back nicely as he used to?

liked paro's realisation abt laila and how wrong she was.hope she doesn't change this after meeting laila again.

with tarun khanna and sadiya back,i think we can sit back and watch the intended story now.hope the trp junta also remain hooked to the show.

and again thank u all for those kind remarks on y'days update.such comments/replies always inspire us to write more, don't they? :-)

      ratna.

ps:will be making a sep.post on future trac discussion and the new spoilers.pls do join in the discussions everyone.would love to see ur comments on it

also, shwetha, why u tried watching on youtube,it sometimes goes silent for colors serial videos.u can instead go to a site called 'desitashan' where u can get good quality HD dailymotion links for the epi.try that if u face any problem with youtube.

    2. Ratna, I will be having guests from next week, so chances of my catching or bakbaking will be quite slim, will try my best to tapkofy.

      Dilsher softening.

Well, you do mellow down with age.

Plus, Mohini touched a raw nerve, when she accused him of trying to take away Samrat from her and that he couldn't control Rudra, did make him sentimental.

I thing 15? years, Dilsher has alone with Rudra with bitterness consuming him. He didn't realize till Paro came and Rudra told him point blank the effect his own bitterness had on Rudra.

Now he is amongst family. Barring Mohini, everyone welcomes him, loves & respects him.

He is rediscovering the joy of living...in a family....being part of a family.

He wants to make up for the lost time, years and hence this was a plea/request to Mohini, see I am trying to be the eldest one here, binding the family together. Now it is upto you to help me out.

Which is why Mohini said, Dinner is served. Even if she does not buy Dilsher's story, her biggest support Sumer is missing.

She also knows no one at that moment will support Mohini vis a vis Dilsher as the rest of the family does not NOW see Dilsher as someone who is trying to take over.

      Temporary truce from her side.

Dilsher will be back to his old ways.

Plus with Mala coming back, they need to show this soft side of Dilsher so it goes with the flow of the story.

You can't have Dilsher spitting fire and suddenly going all mush.

He also said one important dialogue. Mainay kissi par haq nahin jataya, wonder what that meant?

You really beautifully Ratna, should do so more.

Will have to depend on desi tashan from next week, when I have to catch up on episodes.

Dia, Okay after watching Dilsher today, am going to watch the above scene.
Hope you are enjoying your holiday. Great update:)

  14. Shwetha wow!! love love your takes!!! VC alert lol !!!

Dilsher - Paro scenes are always endearing to watch. The way he talks to Paro shows how much he adores her. He always has a smile when he talks to her. I loved today's family drama. First when Mohini started her taunts, I didn't like it, but after Dilsher's entry it turned out to be good. He will be the one to accept Mala if she returns . I'm now curious to know their story. He has admitted twice that they failed as a couple, never blamed Mala alone.

Suddenly RR picking up pace. All characters are slowly coming back, taking their position. So finally we may watch the intended story . Glad tejawat is back. We can expect some BSD actions too. Me Excited.

    1. Lakshmi, it is good that they have started parallel tracks again. When the show started they did have a strong parallel track of the family. Makes this more interesting.

As for the speed, it does seem rushed, I think they got the green signal of actors availability so are rushing to bring the story back on track again.

I do wonder, before Mala track, will Rudra's hand be okay or not.

He can't fight Tejavat with one hand?

As it is his driving jeep with one hand sounds unbelievable.

will mala be sympathetic to laila and ask paro to step away for laila? [no dandas pls,l know i'm predicting the worst tracks, but i'm really annoyed, this B&B can do anything!] on the top of it,as ritika said, the spoiler abt paro leaving due to her waada does not give any positive vibes either.

why i'm saying this is,so far mala is shown to be sweet natured and very naive and emotional.so will she stop paro from leaving due to her waada?or will her love for paro baisa override laila's manipulation?or will she act foolishly on laila's words?

seriously dunno, but come on cvs,she is kaakisa's sister and rudra's mom?she can't be that naive.would love to see a stronger mala and some interesting streaks to her character.pretty sure that sadiya can portray that effecttively.CVS ARE U LISTENING??

from the TC article,it seems laila will bring back rudra's mom after outsmarting tejawat.my qn is,why does laila has to be the central character of every track.just bcoz TRPs rose when laila's track came, why does the audience have to suffer seeing laila's plotting and planning every epi?and ST goes on to say ankita [or laila's character] is as imp.to the show as sanaya and ashish.really?

and one last qn,will rudra stop paro from leaving and convince her to stay back??or will the old jallad rudra return?

pls drop in ur comments everyone.would love it if somebody will give an answer to each and every qn.posed by me in this post.

    1. Ratna, one TC article and you have come up with so many tracks. First of all TC article are not so reliable. I agree with Morning Breeze, CV's will change tracks according to TRPs. So let's wait till they unfold.

Laila will stay for longer run it seems. But she will play only a catalyst in Parud love story. Now they have Thakurain, Tejawat , Mohini, so she won't take centre stage. But may be an important character. Paro doesn't trust Laila any more going by Precap. So Laila - Paro joining hands. Hope it won't happen.

Laila manipulating Mala...So far Thakurain is shown as sweet and naive who blindly trusts Thakur. But she was also in touch with Danveer all these years without Thakur's knowledge and she even tried to find out Paro on her own, when Paro was announced dead. So they won't show her dumb definitely.

If at all Laila play any games, it will backfire definitely. RR tracks wind off within 7-10days. So Laila's manipulation may last for max 2 episodes. As MB (Morning Breeze) said , if all episodes are goody good, it will be monotonous. Spice is needed to add flavour to the story.

Rudra won't allow Paro to leave as per her vows, may be a short separation can happen. He will get angry, but don't think he can be a Jallad any more. He can't stand her tears now, so definitely no return of Jallad. It will bring back the intensity. Also Paro sacrificing her love for Laila ,they won't go that way as per their claim of Shiv-Parvathi tale.

I'm glad if they bring back the original story. At the beginning of the show it was told they have scripted upto 200 episodes. So if they can incorporate that with some embellishments with TRP concerns , that itself will be good to watch. Now RR suddenly seems to have lot of potential. They can show how Rudra ceases arms deal and end of Tejawat behind bars. Then search of girls who have been married shart par over the years. Nandini track. In between all these Parud's love story...Let's enjoy till it's on air.

P.S Ratna never forget we are watching a daily soap. Between I liked your Monday's take. Keep coming.

    3. Hi Lakshmi,

While reading the para your wrote about Mala being in touch with Dilsher all this time, I also remembered an older episode in RR, where they showed Mala going through some photo album ( It was Paro's wedding album, I presume ), she gets all emotional looking at a picture with her and Parvathi in it and tells Thakursa that it came across her mind that Paro would be suitable bride for her son Rudra.... or something on those lines, so my point is Mala for sure is going to be on top of the world when she comes to know that what she wanted for her son actually came true, so it won't be that easy for Laila to manipulate Mala, if they show that way the makers will be contradicting whatever they have shown before!!!

Hmm hope what i said above makes sense!?!!

    4. Thanks MB (wink) & Shwetha!!!

  17. Hi Ratna,

Do all these spoilers turn out always like said?
I personally feel even if this is their idea of proceeding with the story, it may be interesting to see how it all plays out.If its always nice and sugary it makes it kinda monotonous
. Plus most of these serials change the story line depending on the TRP and audiences reactions right?
But none of them have played out yet, so maybe we just wait and see how it turns out, maybe we will like what we see!!!

I know that this does not answer any of your questions but its just my thoughts.

    1. Hi Morning Breeze!!! I liked your user name.Shall I refer you as MB?? Hope you won't mind.

SuLa track may play out. FIrst attempt by Laila is a failure, but she won't stop at that considering how desperate she wants to go back to Haveli.

      Delete
    2. MB: The advantage of not having a bank of episodes is tracks can be changed if the audience is not happy with it.

I think they were going to go with Sumer Maitli track and might have changed their mind plus with the availability of Thakur and Mala, they would have made Laila an ally of Thakur.

    3. Hi Lakshmi,

I love my user name too!!, Its based on the meaning of my toddlers name, so its special to me.
And sure you can refer me as MB its a long word to type, I admit, I won't mind at all.

You are right there is still a possibility of SuLa track, but that's a formula I feel has been tried & tested several times in many other serials before ( Marrying the other brother/cousin for revenge, being blackmailed, blah, blah, blah ) Hoping that RR shows something different, that's why I have been loving the past two episodes.

  19. Hello People!!!

Was away for the extended weekend. Just got a chance to watch the two episodes. What is more interesting is the spoilers. Too many things to process at the same time. Sometime back, one of us (not sure who) had said that the manner of Laila's entry into the haveli was below par and that she should have joined hands with Tejawat. Looks like that is what is going to happen. The serial is back to its original track. Hope they maintain the tempo.

Shwetha: As usual, you brighten up my day with your humour. :) ***Hugs***

Dia: Hope you are enjoying your vacation. :) Lovely feedback on the Monday episode. Waiting for your comments on the Tuesday episode. Ek complaint hain. Not sure if anyone has tried to comment using Iphone. I had no access to laptops for the last 4 days. The couple of times, when I tried to comment from my Iphone, the blog did ramanchi with me. :(

  20. Wow - so much happened today- Rajdhani express is back. Still trying to wrap my head around the episode. Re-read your post Shwetha - it is hilarious! :)
VC alert not needed - today was a wash.
Mean KCM is back - she deserves Laila. Wish samrat would grow a spine. Maybe with his munafa he can buy one.
Not sure what's the rush. I just saw an episode of BI (not my type) and nothing happened during the entire episode and here we have a week's material in one episode. I wish they would go a bit slower. Too much to digest. Forgot to mention the bg music during Dilsher's dialouge with Paro yesterday was so loud, I had to rewind it 3 times to get what he said - and it was such a beautiful moment too. Ugh!

Not sure if I like the Tejawat-Laila team or the spoiler abt Mala- Laila. Wait and watch.
Dia- what a lovely, comprehensive take - that too when on vacation. Can't thank you enough for doing this.

    1. Agree Shwetha is always bang on!! VC alert is needed to watch Indian daily soap. Agree today's epi was in jet speed. SO many plots introduced, I think they are setting the stage before IPL. Actual game will start once IPL is over.

Initially I had trouble in understanding the dialect with BG. They have toned down the dialect or I don't know whether I'm used to. But BG still has the same effect. Especially the Pre cap chorus.

Dia looking forward to read your take on tuesday's epi.

  21. Dia: Fab take.

Laila actually getting kidnapped by Thakur is a nice twist in the tale.

Dunno why Rudra was so hyper about. Didn't he belive Laila after the Oonth guy and even apologized to Laila. Why is he now taking the high ground?

Why should Paro believe him so easily. Did he believe Paro without any proof? It will take time for her. It is not that his judgement has always been right all the time. Was kinda annoyed at Rudra a bit yesterday.

And suddenly Rudra and Paro have known each other for 6 months?

They were supposed to get married on Shivratri. A week after he met her for the first time.

So, now it is September already.

Then his hand was supposed to be okay in 2 weeks, abhi tak kyun nahin hua?

    Narnia timing yahan bhi.

Appreciate your taking time for us*Hugs*

@dia,hope u take some time out to read my y'days long post on future track and reply to it.ur replies always gives positive vibes.dunno why but i always feel u can understand me best and may be that's why i feel connected to this blog since ipkknd times.try to reply when u have ample time.i miss reading ur replies.

@lakshmi,i will always remember that it's a daily soap i'm watching.but its just that though i watch many shows passively,i feel connected to a single show at a time and i don't like too much negativity in that show.it was like that, starting from geet, ipk and now rr.dunno if u will understand/not.but its ok,ab har koi har kisi ko thodi naa poori tarah samajh paayegi.but yes,it was really so good of u to take pain to answer my each qn in the post and wonderful reply too.
will try to give a short update, today's epi had many scenes and the story is fast moving.

EPI 108:28TH MAY SACH KA SAAMNA.

    *THAKURSA'S SAUDEBAAZI WITH LAILA BAISA.

so thakursa thinks laila is afraid?laila, surprisingly, coolly replies to him[maybe she knows he is afraid of rudra]seems like thakursa wants to make a deal with rudra.he still seems unaware of rudra banna's hatred for thakurainsa.will laila think on the same lines too?dunno, but, lets wait and watch.

it was shocking to see thakurainsa in such a state.as somebody mentioned in IF,even i thought thakur at least loved thakurainsa.seems like i was wrong .as he mentioned to laila, like her,he too loves himself the most.

even more shocking was to hear mala confessing that it was a mistake to leave her family and son for thakur!!SO HAVE THE CVS CHANGED THE STORY?bcoz i thought she met thakur after she left the aveli.can't pass a judgement on mala unless we get to hear the fullside of her story.

*RUDRA-PARO:HUM BANE EK DUSRE KE DHAAL.

loved to see how rudra consoled paro and the last scene of parud interaction.wonderful acting ashish and sanaya.didn't go OTT even for a moment.parud scenes of today's epi and maithili's scene with paro are MUST WATCH SCENES OF TODAY'S EPI.

*i really appreciate rudra's idea of him, dilsher and paro moving to another house,i think bsd quarters would be safe and better.[yes,i know its never going to happen, aise hi bol rahi thi]

*maithili is too good a jethani to paro.she's as good as paro's own jija,maithili-paro's rishta truly redefines the dynamics of their relation.paro should take her jija's advice seriously,'pehle apni grihasti sambhaal, meri yaa dusron ki problems suljhane ke liye poori zindagi padi hai'good one, maithili jija!

*today rudra said that he trusts paro.so won't it be broken if paro leaves due to her waada?or will he stop her?with these thoughts in mind, its difficult to enjoy a good parud scene too.hope cvs have something better for the viewers with this track.

again,@lakshmi,i will continue to remember that it's a daily soap.and sorry everyone for this bakwas update.had to do it bcoz i hate to see the blog silent and shwetha is again MIA.and again apologising to anyone who are offended/tired of reading my bak-bak.[yes,shweta,no dandas pls.i know[or hope]that u and dia dont think so].u won't have to tolerate this for long.

and i want the show to run successfully for atleast 3 yrs and so i don't feel comfortable reading 'till its on-air' everywhere in IF.such unique shows dont come everyday.looking forward to ur replies.keep the blog buzzing everyone!

    2. Ratna, lovely take. I liked the title. Very apt. SACH KA SAAMNA. I liked Dilsher Rudra's scene too. Agree with you on Paro maithili bond. Paro is luck to find a jija in Maithili. I too reserve my take on Thakurain till her full story unfolds. I hope CV's have something more for Thakurain to leave her family for Thakur. Let's wait.

Please don't say bakwas update. Enjoyed reading your posts. Agree Too much of negativity will drive viewers. Initially RR was supposed to be dark and intense as Madhu has pointed. But they have toned a lot. Earlier RR lacked light moments. Now, Dilsher-Paro, Maithili-sunerai are adding light moments. So I don't mind little spice. Hope they maintain the balance.

I followed IPK religiously, when they ended it abruptly and when I happened to read a lot about functioning of daily soaps.Automatically I'm tuned to enjoy without much emotional investment. I enjoyed IPK because of many good writers who made wonderful posts. It's rare when a show can connect so many people. IPK did. So please don't mind if I didn't get exactly what you meant at times. It's interesting to read from other's pov.

Duration of a show TBH, I don't have any idea. As long as they have good story , I'm ready to watch. But honestly I don't want them to drag for the sake of long running. RR is moving in an alarming speed. Don't know what's in store. This week we had lot of happening in RR world. I'm excited to watch how they are going to take it forward. Thanks for the update summary. Keep doing.

  25. Thanks for the update Ratna. Not bak bak at all. I do appreciate yours and Shwetha's ability to write and express your thoughts so well.

Liked the episode. Everyone did well today. Laila is a good match for Tejawat. Can you imagine how fun a Mohini- Laila- Tejawat conversation would be? :)

Liked Maithili- Samrat - they are such a lovely couple - I hope they continue showing them. Loved the Dilsher- Rudra conversation. Looks like Rudra took it to heart and decided to open up to Paro.
I am going wait for Mala's entire story to unfold - I have a feeling the writers have purposely left us with this feeling that she's entirely to blame. Like Dia said if that was so, Kakusa would not have kept in touch with her. There's more to this than shown (I hope).
Looks like Laila is going to bring Mala to Rudra (sent by Tejawat). He's going to trade-in Mala for Rudra to set him free (or work for him).
I am waiting for the pre-cap. Will Paro trust Rudra? Or will she try to change his mind about Mala?

Waiting for Dia's take. Somehow she has a way of explaining things that make me understand the episode better. And feel better too.

    1. Archana ditto on Dia's take. Paro will trust Rudra. She knows by now that he's honest. But as per the june promo she will unite both, so she will try to change his mind. I would like her to change his mind when she is convinced by Mala's story. Hope they give sometime for Paro to digest the facts about Thakurain. Mala was like a mother figure for Paro, so she has to be shocked by this truth.Let's see how she reacts. I'm on the same boat regarding Pre- Cap.

  26. Thanks for the update Ratna. The blog has been shaant for a while now. Too many things happened again in today's episode. Glad to see Tejawat back on the show. Thank heavens for not changing the actor. Tarun Khanna is too good as Tejawat. Not sure what Teju has planned for Mala and Laila. Or is it going to be Laila doing all the planning as the spoilers suggest? Very curious to know Mala's story. Loved the Paro Maithili scene. Very meaningful exchanges between the sisters. The Rudra-Paro, though very short (thanks to Rudra's awkwardness), was good. Paro just doesn't leave an opportunity to question Rudra and get all the answers. Poor Rudra. :) I am eagerly waiting for the continuation of the tete-a-tete between Paro and Rudra. Paro has told Rudra that she would trust him. Not sure, how she would react when Rudra reveals his relationship with Thakutain maasa. I hope she uses her judgement and not trust Rudra blindly.

Now, coming to the whining part of my comment. So ladies, please bear with me.

I am not a TV person. Meaning, I don't watch serials or any programme on television. It has been a really long time, since I watched a show on TV. A friend of mine was going gaga about IPKKND. Apparently, she had watched all the episodes of IPKKND, a year after the serial went off air. I wasn't interested initially. Then, I watched a couple of scenes and kind of liked it. I ended up watching the entire show on net and eventually became a huge fan of Sanaya Irani. She was (still is) my main pull towards Rangrasiya. When the show kicked off, I resisted the urge to watch it. Eventually, I gave up. Though Sanaya was the main reason for me to watch rangrasiya, I started liking Ashish's performance and the supporting cast's, especially Mohini and Dilsher. The serial, in the initial days, had a smooth flow to it. Not too many twists and turns. It was dark and intense, but I liked the coherence in the narration. The CVs maintained the tempo till the 70ish episode or so. Then came the heavy compromising of the script, thanks to TRPs. I am no good judge of the TRP system and TV shows. People might not watch it on TV, but Rangrasiya has a huge Internet fan base. The show's pace has gone up and the tracks are being covered very quickly. Not sure what the CVs have planned for the next 3 months. Ideally, the current tracks should have been shown 5 to 6 months after the start of the serial, as Shwetha pointed out once. But due to TRP pressures, these tracks are being shown in advance. I hope the CVs get to show the actual intended content of the serial. I have tried watching IPKKND Part 2 and Diya aur baati hum. Must say that the two serials did not hold my interest for long (No offense anyone). And Diya aur baati hum is supposed to the top rated show in terms of TRP. Public ka dimaag ka mausam predict karna bahut mushkil hain. Sigh.....

Now back to Rangrasiya.... like Ratna said, I would like the serial to continue for 3 to 4 years. But not sure, what the PH is going to show us after a couple of months. Given the pace of the show, not sure about anything. I really hope, it doesn't end abruptly like IPKKND. Dia et al, your comments/opinions/takes on my take are very much appreciated. Thanks for bearing with my nonsense.

    1. Madhu never watched anything before IPK from start to end. I started to watch it after some 100 odd episodes because of my cousin. Liked it and then followed . It lead to Dia's blog. I too liked Sanaya's work. Tried to follow her next show CC. But couldn't. So was really glad when RR started. As you said Ashish and supporting casts clicked for me too. So now following RR with you guys. As Dia use to update on another thread about other shows, I know what's happening on TV a bit. I don't understand what TRP audience want and never bothered to know about it. But when RR TRP rises, I'm happy as the only show I watch is not in danger. Hope the shows does well.

I too want Paro to take time to process the truth about Thakurain Maasa. Let's see.

Shwetha please do come and give your faltu gyaan when you find time. Really miss your here:)

    2. Ah - my story is the same as the two of you. I do not watch Indian soaps. In fact we don't have Indian channels. We took a couple Indian channels one summer for my daughter and she was watching IPK and I happened to see the one scene where Khushi faints at the mandir after fasting. I was mesmerized by Sanaya and before I knew it I was addicted to the serial. I used to read Dia's posts on IF and found her blog from there. I started stalking you all. I tried watching Chanchan just for Sanaya - but just could not watch the first male lead. Somehow the serial just did not click for me. When Colors announced RR - all mt friends and family told me SI was in it and I started watching it. Love her. She is just awesome. I like Ashish too - he's a very good actor. But Sanaya rocks!

  30. hey another news.trps decreased for rr last week.came down to 2.6 from 2.9.

though i'm not glad to see ratings going down,i hope the cvs now get the msg that even the trp junta does not like too much of negativity[laila] as that happened during the katputli track and accordingly reduce her screentime and imp. in the future tracks.and the leads separation track must also be done for a short while as that can affect ratings too.

for instance, though i'm not a regular BI watcher, but, last week its trps crashed down due to overdose of negativity and barkat drama.this time,it increased to 2.9,prob, due to showing zain's jealousy due to the entry of zubair, aaliya's childhood friend and almost-confession.

i think rr cvs must definitely pay attention to these things if they need better ratings too.

    1. Ayyyo - if BI's TRP has increased - what can I say? I watched a few episodes after the Mahasangam promo and that too because one of the off-shore girls I work with (who is in Pune) told me BI was better than RR. I cannot stand it. Both leads cannot act. The story barely moves. Yuk!
But I do hope CVs get the message that the negativity is not working. Wish they would pursue other tracks. I really want to see them rescue Nandini and the other Birpur girls. I want them to work on the baby angle for Maithili - Samrat. I want them to find a sharp girl (not Laila please) for Sumer - someone who can give it back to Mohini.
I want to see Maithili and Paro take over the family business and become smart strong women.
No Sunheri- Aman for me. Aman + someone better please.
      Suneheri seems too childish.

    2. Never watched any full episode of BI. But whatever 5 mins I watched while waiting for RR, didn't get my attention too. Both the leads are new, so it might have clicked as a couple. When They used to focus on Lead's face more than necessary with the same expression. I know the Precap will follow. I will sit for RR then. It has captured young audience for sure. Even in my office we have one crazy fan for BI leads.

  31. EPI 109,29TH MAY:THAKURSA STRIKES THE DEAL,PARO BAISA GETS READY TO LEAVE.

Before i start with the update, dia, shwetha, ritika where are u all??

dia and shwetha,MIA over a day.you all better reply to all my posts on the blog on ur return, then only i will think that my efforts to give a bakwas update is acknowledged.seriously dia and shwetha, KAHAN HO AAP LOG?i'm really upset seeing you MIA for long.i can understand dia's reason, but shwetha can't u atleast tapkofy once?people are craving to read ur takes on such crucial epis.dunno how many will go MIA today?

chalo, moving on to the epi, today's epi brought back the pace to normal with the format of a mandatory parud scene.

today,i really enjoyed thakur-laila scenes.looked more like a comedy show. must say, ankita impresses me in her comic dialogues, esp.her 'kaunsa beta, kaunsa dost?' was hilarious.

y'day i told i would reserve my judgement for mala.well i have it today.she is SELFISH[or atleast her dialogues sounded so].

*when thakur said that she chose her son over him,she replied with a resounding NO.she went on to say she did so bcoz she saw her true face.WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

if she never came to know abt thakur's true face,he'd have been more imp. to her?now just bcoz she is aware of the truth, she is repenting that she left her son?its as simple as that, she fell in love with tejawat, left her family and her innocent son for a more beautiful life?so mohini kaakisa's words to little rudra in the flashback were right.she never loved dilsher and rudra.what explanation will she give for running away?whole IF is flooding with posts against mala.

though i sympathise with her current state, chained like a prisoner, but must say i'm with rudra in this matter.wonder how the cvs will redeem her character?

*so thakursa strikes the deal.if rudra wants mala hale and hearty,he must do 2 things-erase all the proofs against tejawat and give paro baisa to him, bas.and laila baisa gladly accepts to be the messenger.

[now,i'm pretty sure of one thing, before laila baisa can complete her message, rudra will pucca goli maarofy her,aur nahin toh kya?right now,he loves his country and his paro much more than thakurainsa.but i'm actually scared of our bholi bhaali paro baisa, she can fall in laila's 2nd option for her majorsa and thakurainmaasa unless rudra makes her realise her importance in his life.WILL THAT EVER HAPPEN?]

*i can completely understand paro's joy and excitement on knowing that her thakurainmaasa is now her own saas and she can call her maasa, haq se.but she should try to see things from rudra's POV as he's not wrong always and she must stand by him in this matter rather than go against him, that'll only make things worse.ARE THE CVS LISTENING??[waisey, the flashback of paro abt her moments with mala was sweet to watch]

*i was glad to see that rudra holds no grudge against paro for getting his share of laad-pyaar from mala.he is[rightly so] angry at mala for that.paro was really hurt to hear that he hates the word 'pyaar' for all his life.but methinks its also his desperateness that this bitter feeling prevents him from openng upto paro and his feelings as she wants him to,as he'd love to but cannot.parud oil massage scene also falls in the category of MUST WATCH along with the terrace scene.

    [ CONTINUED IN NEXT POST.]

  32. *the morning aarti scene was also good.kaakisa was caught smiling while taking the aarti from paro.seems she has made peace with the fact that paro is here to stay.

*rudra apologises to paro and we see rudra's trust in paro getting stronger day by day[that actually scares me and u all know why]kaakusa opens the track for ME mumbai visit and paro is reminded of her waada and gets upset and rudra clearly notices her upset face as the epi ends.[WILL HE REMEMBER IT LATER?]

*PRECAP:finally, maithili comes to know abt paro's waada.so will she act on time to prevent any MU later?

*have to say this, this is a very sensitive track.depends on how CVs handle it keeping in mind the recent TRP dip.if not handled properly, this track can send TRPs crashing down otherwise this track has all the potential[with the req.intensity and so-called-passion] to make rr the slot leader and also make the loyal audience happy.after all,the actors are working so hard, they should be rewarded, esp. sanaya who lately seems very upset with the TRPs.its ultimately upto ST and his team.

*girls,i hope the update has not bored u a lot.pls do drop in some replies and keep the blog buzzing!!

  33. Thanks for posting Ratna. I enjoyed most of the episode. The loud bg music is really taking out the intensity for me. The Rudra-Paro conversation was perfectly executed. His anger, her happy memories beautifully portrayed by Sanaya and Ashish. I only wish the bg music was not so loud.
I will be truthful - I did not enjoy the Laila - Tejawat scenes. He is very good but she is not doing anything for me. In this episode both Paro and Laila got shocking news. But check out both the reactions. Laila's was barely there. Paro was stunned. Agar main biased hu (which I know I am) - to maaf karo :)

Felt so sad watching the pre-cap. There's got to be a loop hole that she can use to get out of it. She should hire OJ's lawyers! So sad that when she made the promise - Rudra hated her and there was no relationship between them - so at time even tho it felt bad it was not as awful as it feels now. Now that they have come such a long way - poison ladoos, mirchi in the eyes, laila, confessions. Wow so much has happened since the promise.

I am not sure why they are going so fast. Several of the scenes could have been stretched a bit - for the impact. Like the song scene. Playing it over 2 episodes and not dwelling on it, takes a lot from the impact, I feel.
I am not saying stretch one episode over 2 but stretch one episode to 1.25 or 1.5. Helps actually get the emotions across.
Anyway - guess they know what they are doing and why.

Ratna - like you said - depends on how they tackle these sensitive issues. I am not going to blame Mala - yet. I want to see how this plays out. Mala obviously loved her son very very much. He has many happy memories with her. There has got to be a very good reason for her leaving him.

Ratna - Shwetha had said she would be MIA because she's having guests. And Dia is on vacation - so can't blame her. So that's why the blog is so shant.

    Main hu na :D

  34. Thanks for the update Ratna and Archana. On the whole, it was a good episode. Liked all the scenes between Rudra and Parvati. I am glad that atleast Maithili knows about Paro's promise to God. This would help clear any possible misunderstanding. Just waiting for the blog to get back to normalcy again. So silent it has become these days. Like Archana said, I am confused as to why the show is running on top gear. I can't think of what they are going to show after two months. There are still many unanswered questions. The main problem with this show is that there has been a lot of negativity right from the beginning. It has been greatly reduced, but the damage is already done. I don't mind watching as long as I enjoy it. But, it didn't go too well with the general audience. Now, the CVs are struggling to boost the show's TRPs. Hope they show us something enjoyable. That is all I am expecting.

  35. Hello Ladies!!

Again a wonderful take Ratna. Thanks for doing this. Your take echoed my feeling too.

Agree with Archana on the reactions regarding Mala's identity. I wanted CV's to linger and could have taken time with Paro to process. When I watched that scene for the first time, I was disappointed, but felt better in the second watch . She started to remember her Thakurain Maasa without looking at him, which I completely missed in first watch. Then when he stopped her, she felt sorry, but again defending Mala for falling in love with Thakur without knowing his true face... CV's could have avoided that at this point. Here Paro should think more about his abandonment. They could have kept that for at least next episode. Earlier Paro had felt for the abandoned child when she read his letter. Sanaya was brilliant in that scene. That was the first time Paro mellowed towards Jallad. I don't know why CV's are rushing all important scenes, that too with Paro. They could have showed some confusion after her shock..Thakurain was her god mother, but she is the one who has left Rudra...who's is she actually...Then some benefit of doubt. Because it's Paro, she even gave a second chance to Laila. But instead CV's just rushed it.But I liked what followed next, oil scene. Paro's dialogue regarding healing of wounds was bang on.

Ratna I still hope CV's have more story for Mala. Remember one IV with Sadiya, where she told that Mala wanted to take her son along with her, but her husband refused. When she came back after a month he had already left the place. But whatever be Mala's reasons, leaving her child like that has no justification. So Rurda's animosity is understandable.

Madhu agree they have toned negativity, but the damage is done. Hope they balance and get back the so called TRP. As Ratna pointed out, this track has tremendous potential, I really wish CV's do well in all quarters. Nothing has caught my interest in TV like RR did after IPK. Mainly it's Sanaya and then the content also. I just want the show do well for all of them involved. They are really working hard. I saw colors IV with Sanaya, they literally don't have any life left when they do a prime time show, it seems. Let's see how it goes from here.

Archana , I'm glad Paro shared her Bholenaath deal with Maithili. I trust her jija. She will never allow any MU to come between Parud. It will be interesting when Rudra knows that,so don't feel sad. Hope it plays out well.

Dia and others miss you all. Come to this virtual cafe when you guys find time from your AD.

I didn't find Rithika in IF too. Hope all is well at your end.I don't know about other's IF id. But would love to read others views too. Looking forward to read more.

  36. EPI 110,30TH MAY:PARO,U BROUGHT TEARS TO EVERYONE'S EYES.

first of all, apologies everyone.today's epi has left me very disturbed to give a take on it.it was so emotional and SANAYA,YOU ARE AWESOME.my entire attention was focused on her and the viewers could experience paro's pain so well all due to this great actress.HATS OFF SANAYA.i'm in no mood to post a take actually, but will share something from IF that echoed my feelings for those who haven't watched it yet.

Its always hard to say goodbye, especially when you have a secret and the one you are waving your hands at has no knowledge of it. When you know that you are doing something both selfless and selfish, when you are making a choice for both of you, when you know that the one who is waving a goodbye and blowing kisses at you will perhaps need a glucose drip when the secret is revealed, when you are walking away with no intentions of coming back, when you know that now the loved one will only be in your memories and your heart, when you are already hoping that you meet again in some other lifetime and some other situation. To know that you are betraying someone, backstabbing someone, leaving someone behind with an emotional quicksand and yet to know that it was the right thing to do and live with it- its a different kind of hell and you are all alone in it.

Paro was , is and will always be the woman of her word and her faith. She felt sorry for herself only for 2.5 minutes and then, she realized that its she who had made the choice and she cannot go back on it. She has no right to feel that way. The immense strength of her character is what i have always liked.

But its a complicated paradox you know. Paro made a decision and a commitment not just for herself but for Rudra as well. She is not alone in this misery , she is taking Rudra along as well. He doesn't deserve this at all but then, when two rights are right, you can only have endless debates on who is wrong.

Sanaya rocked in this episode.the fear of losing her love, her sweet memories, her last moments with rudra was so emotional, yet not so melodramatic.nobody can play paro as beautifully as she did. today she gave one of her best performance.she was perfect for every single moment in the epi

first watch today's episode and tell me she didnt get a nomination for the best actress award!just give today's epi as a proof to ITA jury.

OK,so the entire epi is a MUST WATCH,esp the last scene which i will be updating.do watch it.

''Paro then tells rudra that she knew he already knew about this but still she wanted to say to him ... That she loved him very much .. She loved him more than her life ...her breath .. Her heart . ..her happiness ..her dreams ...she would always love him all her life ..she loved him more than everything

Rudra is very much moved .. He tries to say something .. But paro covers his mouth .. Urging him not to reply .. Aapko kuch kehene ki zaroorat nahin hai major saab ..
Rudra is stunned hearing her confession ..''

    CONTINUED IN NEXT POST.

  37. so after all this, will rudra MU paro??dunno, but after reading the new TB article

    [ link:http://www.india-forums.com/tellybuzz/buzzin-hot/19977-rudra-and-paro-to-get-separated-in-rangrasiya.htm ]

i dont have much positive feelings abt upcoming track.clearly,i dont have any expectations from this CVs.so i will be skipping the ME tomorrow, will just read the update only.will come later to share my view.hope shwetha/dia comes back for tomorrow, or else,lakshmi/archana/madhu can give a quick update.

again some qns for future track[ again courtesy IF] for weekend discussions:

    And what if
    1) will rudra again misunserstand paro?

    2) today he accepted he is her moon then he broke all the vechans ,but after paro left will he remind the vechans when she is coming to him ...? first of all will he accept paro?

    3) paro left and get caught by tejawat

    4) since in the last scene he was confused with maithili's behaviour after paro left definitely he will ask maithili .will she tell the truth

    5) where paro will go ?

6)paro left rudra then it is easy for laila to get close with rudra . even though he wont let her close.

7)if paro is there then mom-son unity will happen otherwise how it will be ?

    8) it seems like mohini is planning something again ..

    9) if paro left rudra , what happens to the tejawat case and rudra's job again that ladies commission will come back for asking paro's leaving .

drop in ur comments/replies everyone, and keep the blog buzzing!

  38. Hello everyone. And thanks for the update Ratna.

Since I am in different part of the world, I don't get to see the show when it goes on air. So, usually I read a written update of the episode and then come home and watch the show. I read the updates in tellyupdates.com. The written updates did very little justice to the actual episode today. One big disadvantage of reading an update before watching the episode is the absence of anticipation and the effect is somehow reduced. But that was not the case today. Sanaya just nailed it. Beautifully supported by Ashish and Geetanjali Mishra (Maithili Bhabhi). I knew every scene in the episode. Still, the visuals gave an effect of watching it for the first time. It was bitter-sweet throughout the show today.

The last scene reminded me of a novel called 'The Kite runner' written by Khaled Hosseini. An intense novel which explores the complexities of human mind. A trip through an individual's life from his childhood to adulthood. The way he does not stand up for someone who has always looked upto him. His guilt because of not protecting the person who trusted him. The individual's efforts to redeem himself, to make things right, to be good again, to do something for his loyal friend. The novel is in no way related to Rangrasiya. But Paro's dialogues in the last scene reminded me of a dialogue from the novel. The protagonist's friend says, "For you, a thousand times over". A declaration of pure, honest love. The person you love could have many shortcomings, he/she may not be perfect. But that person is your jigar ka thukda. I think it is very difficult to have such emotions for a person. I have read thousand such stories, watched a few movies like this. But some stories stay in your heart and the very thought of them will upset you and make you feel sorry for the people in that situation. This episode is one like that. Again... Sanaya Irani, you rocked! And credits to the dialogue writer as well. Paro's philosophy about finding happiness in incomplete things. The glass is always half full. Paro is such a positive person. She will be brave and she will emerge stronger than before.

Ratna... thanks for the update again. Dia/Shwetha ki kami aap poori kar rahi ho. Easily, one of the best episodes of Rangrasiya.

  39. To answer your questions Ratna.....

1). Another misunderstanding will not be good for the show. More MUs mean more negativity. I guess Rudra will be angry and upset initially, but he will somehow figure out what happened. He should be shrewd enough to suspect Maithili. But Maithili will take Paro's secret to the grave. So, I think Rudra will put two and two together. Or atleast, this is how I want the show to proceed. The CVs' thought process is so dynamic, that I am having a hard time guessing the real intentions of each character. The show has got really interesting now.

2). Rudra will accept Paro. May be, we will have to witness 'I hate you Paro' moments, when she comes back in his life. But not for long. Paro knows everything about Rudra's dark past and there are no secrets between them now. And waise bhi, the guy just needs an excuse to keep Paro with him without revealing the fact that he cannot do without her. And Vachans are made to be broken. :D :D :D So chill. :) :)

3). Not sure about the 'Paro caught by Tejawat' angle. So, no comments. That might be an easy way to dispose Tejawat. As per the rules of Indian soaps, the good guy always beats up the bad guy and rescues the heroine. This angle does not interest me much. So, not thinking about it.

4). I think I have answered this question already.

5). Paro might take the help of the social workers (Damayanti ji and the frustrated romantic). There is a big probability of this happening.

    To be continued.....

    ReplyDelete
  40. To answer your questions Ratna..... continuation

6). Your questions seems like an answer in itself. Of course, Rudra won't let Laila come close to him. Rudra has already fallen hard for Paro. The realization will come when she leaves him. The separation track is Rudra banna's menthos moment. Like Shwetha said in one of her earlier posts, Rudra is a fair person. He was over Laila, when he got transferred to Birpur. She was the one who trailed behind him. His intentions had been always clear. Laila was just a companion (with benefits). Most of us would find it difficult to digest such a characteristic because of our culture and upbringing. Dia, you had mentioned in one of your recent takes that Rudra was being ungracious towards Laila, when he was trying to make her leave the haveli. My opinion is that Laila lost his respect, because of her stunt at the haldi ceremony. And I don't blame Rudra for falling in love with Paro. Like Paro said, "Pyaar ho gaya tho, ho gaya. Ab kaun kya kar saktha hain?". One of those things, which you don't have control over.

7). Not sure how to answer this. Paro's presence is needed to bring mom and son together. Or Rudra might remember Paro's philosophical dialogues and get close to his mom. I don't think he can hate his mom, like he proclaims. It is the disappointment, anger, hurt and the pain of someone close to you betraying you. Will be interesting to know Mala's reasons for leaving her beloved son and hubby. Tomorrow's ME can lead to two tracks - Separation track and Mala track. You know what Ratna? I am not sure how the CVs are going to handle both. Or is it the Mala track first, mom and son get united by Paro and then followed by the separation track? Very very confused here. One thing is clear for sure. Never believe in spoilers.

8). I just love Mohini... What else can I say? She will not give up easily. She is so petrified that Dilsher's words might come true. If Mala enters the haveli, it will be all the more easy for her to create problems or taunt Dilsher/Mala/Rudra/Paro and everyone. She just doesn't spare anyone. Not even her own children.

9). Rudra will definitely bring Paro back. I am getting a feeling that the separation track (if there is one in the immediate future), will be very short.

Hope my answers are satisfactory. Phew... It was like writing an exam, except that I am not writing on a paper, but typing in my laptop. I am not clear about some of your questions, but I have tried my best to answer them. Anything and everything is subject to changes because of the ever changing mind of the CVs. Hopefully after IPL, the show is back on track.

    1. Madhu you nailed it like Sanaya did yesterday in the show. WOW!! what a beautiful post. Paro must definitely touched a chord in you. Very well written. Also thanks for sharing about the novel that had touched you. It's rare and will be an unique experience when we are moved by a fictional character. That will remain with us. We may not get the same emotion when we read it again, but once happened will always be special. You should share more with us. I love your answers to Ratna's questions.

I enjoy this show a lot with you all. You people make a lot of difference in watcing this shows. Thanks all:)

  41. Madhu-mitha - hat's off to you! What an awesome post(s). Love it. Ratna - thank you for posting. Sorry for not writing earlier - I was very upset after seeing the episode and then had my husband and daughter laugh at me for being upset. Par kya kare - Sanaya's acting was so realistic- that even tho I know it's a soap - her dialogs touched my heart. And Maithili too - what wonderful actors these are. When you actually are emotionally attached (or hate) the characters - you know that they are doing a fantastic job.
Need to re-watch and cry some more before I post more. But what more can I say when Madhu-mitha has put it so well.

She touched us with her simple and strong nature. Her confession in the last scene was very simple from heart, yet had a great impact. Brilliant acting. It'a a must watch episode.

  44. ME was okay, some moments were cute, nothing much moved on the story front, but I think it was meant to be that way because its about their feelings, about each other and understanding each others likes, desires and all.

By the way what does Paro tell Rudra when she holds his hands almost towards the end of the episode?, Just like Rudra even I was like 'Kya'? I did not understand.

Finally have a great weekend everybody.

MB, Paro said energy, but it sounded different because of her rajasthani accent. She remembered Zain was saying that to Aliya, so she told the same to Rudra. As I don't watch BI, i'm clueless about it significance. Someone who watches Bi can help us.

Next week RR is even more promising as the separation track is going to come. Fingers crossed.

waisey, had read the written update y'day itself,so from it and IF,knew that the ME was quite good!

the new promo is quite intense and gives a clear insight to rudra's feelings abt paro, and his line in the promo,'tujhe jaane nahin dunga paro' did bring in some positive vibes.

i know watching the sbb/sbs do spoil the suspense, but they really calmed down IF which was going frantic after the new promo.[to know why, watch it,link to sbs:

  47. Hello ladies - sorry for not posting earlier - asli duniya was brutal. I saw the ME on Saturday and thought it was cute. It was not a waste because it accomplished many things. Rudra saw a couple in love interacting and also saw Paro's envy. He saw Paro enjoy the sea and almost confessed to Zain. He sang kkhh but this time, Paro realized it meant something to him. His hand started working and he saved Paro. Paro did ignore Aaliya's suggestion that Paro's face shd be calm if she really felt she was doing the right thing. So for RR the story did move. For BI it was a slow episode like always :D

From where they left off on Saturday, it seemed inevitable that Paro leaves Rudra (why in Mumbai of all places I don't know). Since we know Paro will eventually comeback, everyone was expecting a week of angst, sorrow, realization of love for Rudra. But as usual the cvs have sent a spoiler our way - they just don't get it, do they?

But I'm not holding my breathe, as the cvs have fooled us before.

Ratna - my answer to your qs - yes Paro being self-sacrificing, she will decide to trade herself for Mala - but Rudra will not let her. If he does, it will be a ploy to get Tejawat. And I don't think there will be a rain sequence - I think that was the color washing that was misinterpreted. But we will get lots of alu sabzi and bhendi sabzi bina jalaye :D

One thing I have to say - the ME was well paced (slightly on the slower side like BI - but def. not rushed). And the picturization was beautiful, esp the beach scene. The only one I did not like was the one with Rudra sprinting to find Paro - just too dramatic.

So let's see what we get this week.
