Feel good episode ... as Rudra finally starts to soften ...
Dilsher is back ... whoopiee!!!
Mohini sacrifices Sumer for the greater good ... er, goal ... she still hasn't given up. So poor Sumer is consigned to the outhouse, much to his disgust. He still is his mom's faithful follower, though.
Danveer was unexpectedly stern and unyielding ... don't think Mohini expected that.
For once, she's happy at Dilsher's unexpected arrival ... he saves Sumer.
The episode was full of cute moments
Dilsher is very happy with his new daughter-in-law ... not so happy with his son.
He notices Paro's perceptiveness in recognising and pandering to Rudra's ego, not allowing him to feel bad about his frozen hand ... by feeding him the laddoo with her right hand.
Paro gesturing to Rudra that they should take Dilsher's blessings ... Rudra clueless ... Dilsher explains, Paro does the needful for both of them.
Paro starts to ask Rudra ... he replies to her unspoken question ... yes, he took his medicines ... Dilsher even happier ... they have started unspoken communication already!
And as Rudra follows Paro out, Dilsher murmurs delightedly ... the boy is changing.
Rudra finally back in office ... Aman having a good laugh over his Major's love life, points out helpfully that Rudra took Paro's name when he woke up from coma ... something which Dilsher also just pointed out to Rudra a short while back.
Surprise surprise, Rudra doesn't snap or growl.
Paro arrives with Rudra's medicines ... surprise, surprise, Rudra doesn't bark or growl at her either ... he even manages a thanks ... and asks her how will she get back home ...
Paro thrilled at that little show of concern. Actually it's just good manners, Paro, but kya karein, your hubby never had a mom to teach him the basics ... he has a lot of learning to do!
Aman can't stop grinning ... his boss has fallen hard!
Not content with checking with Paro, Rudra then calls Dilsher to check if Paro reached back safely ... Dilsher even more tickled ... confirms it ... Rudra is acting like a normal human being, and not a bear with a sore head ... Dilsher always knew Paro was the right girl for him.
Paro, listening, is even more thrilled ... he actually called to check on her ... he does care ... he is starting to care ...
Then she remembers ... these days of happiness are numbered ... she has promised to leave once he recovers, these small moments of happiness will soon be the only memories she has to carry her through the rest of her life.
Rudra returns home in completely maudlin mode ... the beginning of realisation of love, everything seems sweet, everything seems good, everything makes him smile ... including the doll propped up on the cabinet ... Memories of Paro assail him ... Paro smiling, laughing, teasing ... and his own face breaks into the smallest of smiles. Paro has finally brought a smile to his face. The stone is melting. Love is in the air.
And loved the last PaRud scene, as Paro tells Rudra to hold on to her, and not let her go ... not now, not ever.
Now it remains to be seen how Laila will alter this happy state. Uurrghhh!!!
Liked Ashish's acting today ... he was restrained and quiet, and the absence of the perennially grouchy look from his face was a welcome change. Good to see the back of the angry young man ... at least for some time ... his expressions and his dialogues were getting very repetitive.
Sanaya was adorable in all her scenes. Especially the solo scene, where Paro smiles shyly with delight that Rudra is finally showing some concern for her ... and then remembers that this happiness will be short-lived.
And loved her in the last PaRud scene, as Paro holds Rudra's hand, tells him to imagine she is the person he hates and to hold on to her ... and finally tells him ... hold on to me, and don't let me go ... not now, not ever.
Her heart's wish ... that he holds on to her even if she tries to leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed Dilsher-Rudra-Paro scenes. Really wanted atleast a week of that till Rudra's Menthos moment happened, Oh well!!!
So the current track will last for 2 weeks as per Mohini.
What continues to baffles me, is why are they showing that Rudra's hand problem is psychological by forcing him to move it constantly in such a hurry.
Have a feeling His hands will move when he will come to resuce Paro from Laila....Tab tak the mehhhh drama wrt his hand will continue.
So Laila tapkofies tomorrow.
You know what is interesting is how he will explain Laila to Paro and Dilsher.

Hhow will he explain Laila to Dilsher and Paro ... will be very interesting. Paro might withdraw, and that will drive him nuts, because for once he can't blame her ... although if she is the one who insists Laila stay in the haveli, he will blame her for that all right.
But Dilsher is a different matter ... Dilsher will abuse him left right and center ... will be interesting to see how he defends himself.
And if Paro does try to push him towards laila, then Rudra will do the opposite and come closer to Paro ... after all, he always has to prove her wrong!

Ratna, chill ... I think this is a good time for Laila to come back, when Rudra has started his realisation of love. I doubt he will go near Laila ... he has already cut things off with her. Paro will be the one to let her in, feeling sorry for her, that she is another victim of Teju's ... and with Paro wanting to leave soon because of ehr vow, she might either push Laila towards Rudra, in ascrifice mode ... or she might come to her own realisation that she cannot leave Rudra for anyone else ... experience her own feelings of jealousy.
DeleteI doubt Rudra will go near Laila ... partly because he's too busy processing his feelings for paro, and partly because it would be TRP suicide to show him getting close to Laila. Remember how people hated the Sheetal track. For that reason, I doubt they will show Paro in sacrificial mode either ... this may actually lead to an almost-confession ... with Mohini trying her best to throw a spanner in the works, and encourage Laila ... and then, just as Rudra is ready to confess, BAM! We get Mala back!
Mala has to be the last demon for Rudra to exorcise ... she is the root cause of all his insecurities. Only after that, can we get Rudra going after Teju full steam ahead.
Laila cannot poison Paro's mind ... Paro is too pure ... and also, Paro is a good judge of character. Laila will only try to win Paro's sympathy ... and she will be backed in this by Mohini, who will use Laila to try to create differences between Rudra and Paro. Which will obviously result in Parud getting even closer ;)
I also wonder when they will bring Nandu in ... there was an audition for her, so there should be a track with her ... I want that too. I don't mind if Nandu and Sumer are paired up ... but so far, Sumer looks like he has no objection to his mother's murderous plans at all ... he hasn't even gotten too angry with her putting all the blame on him.

DeleteOne thing I noticed in the promo was the moment he sees Laila, if I remember correctly, he immediately reaches out and holds Paro's hand.....To protect her rather to hold on to her. He would be genuinely worried how his past will affect present and future with Paro.

Lovely and cute episode. Both Parud were brilliant in their scenes. Enjoyed it. Now looking forward to Laila angle..and it's aftermath in Parud budding love.
