Making a post for the week as I am travelling. I will update as and when I watch the episodes. Please continue discussions here, and the first person to write about the new episode every day, add the date and episode number in capitals.
Monday 19th May ... Shaken Faith
Ever since Paro put together the signs, her meeting with Rudra as children, his protection, his name ... she put together a belief that he and she were meant to be, ordained by her Bholenath himself. And that she knew the man, that she saw the lost child, the lonely unloved man behind that rocky facade .. he needed love, she was the one who would love him and bring him out of his past ... and sooner or later, he would realise it and love her back. He had to ... after all, they were meant to be.
Today with Rudra's disclosure, that belief, that faith is shaken ... has she been wrong all along? Is she really the one for him? Is he the one for her? If he could have a relationship with Laila, who is beautiful, who is as devoted to Rudra as she is, and still remain untouched by her love for eight long years, then will he ever love Paro? When he entered into a relationship with Laila of his own free will, but with Paro, he was forced? Yes, she means something to him, he says so himself, he says that he can't bear to see her hurt ... but if everything is truly over between him and Laila, as he says it is, then why does Laila's presence trouble him? Why can't he ignore her, or treat her like any other guest? Why is he so hot and bothered around her?
Paro should have allowed Rudra to kick Laila out ... she really should. If she can question him about her rights in the house, if she can say she doesn't know her rights, her position, then she shouldn't interfere in his desire to throw Laila out. (Alas, cvs need Laila to stay in the house, Rudra cannot be sacrificed, so Paro has to do the needful).
Liked Dilsher - he told Rudra some pertinent points ... your timing sucks, boy!
Liked Rudra - he had to tell Paro before Laila got in first with her twisted version ... although he didn't tell Dilsher that, he just said he had to tell Paro the truth.
Loved Paro - as she questions Rudra ... what is my position in your life? Am I a token wife? How committed is Rudra to this marriage, she needs to know. If he is committed, then a hundred Laila's can come and go, she doesn't care. But if he isn't committed, then she can get rid of a hundred Laila's, there will be a 101st.
Liked the PaRud scene ... love seeing Rudra frustrated, angry and upset ... his Paro is upset, not smiling, not even looking at him ... and it drives him nuts. He seems to have forgotten every single one of the hate vows he took!
Liked the opening of the Dilsher Samrat business track ... hopefully Samrat will co-opt Paro into the embroidery business.
Tuesday 20th May ... One Heart Falters, One Heart Strengthens
Wednesday 21st May ... Vulnerable Paro
Today saw for the first time, Rudra taking the lead in this marriage, telling Paro what he would do, and not listening to Paro ... first in the scene after the puppet show, and then in their room. Till now, Paro has been the one committed to their marriage, believed in it ... and Rudra was in it by compulsion ... or so he claimed. But the moment Paro shows her vulnerability and her doubts, he steps in ... he will do what it takes to get rid of Laila because she's poisoning what is between him and Paro. In short, he's taking the lead.
So is this what Paro really wants? Is she really succumbing to Laila's emotional tricks ... or is she allowing Laila to play her games, and expose her true face to Rudra? There is unfinished business between Laila and Rudra ... by throwing Laila out of the house, it will not end. Until and unless Laila is convinced there is no hope for Rudra, she will not exit their lives. And unless Rudra believes he is committed to this marriage and to Paro, and shows Laila so, Laila will not exit.
Thursday 22nd May ... PaRud Stand as One, Laila Out
So Laila's bluff was called ... her anger, her tears, her emotional blackmail ... nothing worked. Rudra had all bases covered ... doctor's report, security cover in the form of Aman, and even spiked Mohini's guns ... he didn't want Mohini troubled any more than she already had been. And Paro stood in silent support. Not so silent ... she encouraged Laila on her way out with gracious words ... words from a hostess and lady of the house to a guest. Do call us if you need us ...
On reflection, Rudra was rather ungracious to Laila ... his confidante and lover of eight years. She never tried to harm Rudra, after all ... she merely loved him. While she did try to harm Paro, yet Paro remained gracious and kind ... and true to her character, forgiving and understanding. Rudra stood to protect his wife ... he did his duty. Paro stayed true to hers.
Did Rudra never wonder at the sympathy and support Mohini showed Laila? Or did he attribute it to Mohini's perverse nature and hatred for Rudra ... the moment she felt Rudra detested Laila, Laila became her best friend?
Friday 23rd May ... One Step Forward
So what did the Laila episode achieve?
Both Rudra and Paro got reality checks.
Rudra got a jhatka that Paro is not as secure as she appears about the marriage and her place as his wife ... she might even be insecure enough to leave if not reassured of her place in his life. When Paro is reassured that he means what he says (which often he does not!) ... like taking care of Laila's safety and health, yet still wanting her out ... Paro is ready to trust his words.
And while he's not yet ready to face his own feelings for her, he realises that he's more than comfortable in this marriage ... and does not like the possibility of her going away, or not having her as his wife.
And also realises that maybe he should do something to reassure her about that. So he tries. Takes an off from office ... much to the surprise, even shock .. of both father and wife ... takes wife to doctor ... and even wants to take her out for a meal ... if the woman would just realise what he's getting at ... he's too diffident to come right out and say so directly.
Paro got the bigger jhatka, of course ... that maybe her love story is not the human equivalent of the divine Shiv-Parvati one ... that Rudra is not God, that he is a man, with human failings, a history ... and a man's needs and wants. And major doubts as to her position in his life ... just when she was getting more confident of her place as his wife ... Laila's arrival gave her the biggest jhatka ... would he be able to commit to her at all? If he could not commit to Laila for eight years, was her cautious optimism completely unfounded?
But she got some reassurance ... not in the form of a love declaration ... but something equally reassuring ... a declaration that she was his wife, she had the right to look after him, and no one else ... and Laila was only a guest and a friend.
She felt for Laila, compassion .. concern for her wounds, worry for her safety ... after all, both were victims of the same man. And when Rudra assured her of Laila's health and safety, and still wanted Laila to leave ... that reassured Paro too ... not only of Laila's health and safety, but also of her place, or lack of it, in Rudra's life. And of Paro's place ... she was Rudra's wife ... and that was another vow broken ... he declared her his wife in front of all.
So Paro recovers that optimism she had developed just before Laila's entry ... that things will be all right after all ...
And both move one step closer on the long journey towards trust, understanding ... and love.

19 MAY MONDAY EPISODE
ReplyDeleteJust as most of us guessed/wondered about Rudra's Samrat like silence and reaction in precap on Friday, it was a relief to see that it was a Dream*phew*
Rather a nightmare of Paro's - which wakes her up in the morning.
(Interesting in that sequence, it is Laila who is staking claim on Rudra while Rudra throughout seems unsure.
That gave an insight to Paro's thought process throughout the episode.
It is not Laila she is worried about.
She is quite mature and real to understand, Laila was his past.
She can't hold any sort of grudge over him for that.
What matters to her is the present and a possible future together where the relationship is not one sided)
Anyhow, she wakes up immediately realizes Rudra is not there and goes looking for him.
Unfortunately it is Laila who reaches to the sleeping Rudra first as she puts the paralyzed hand at a comfortable position........
A genuine gesture from Laila's side and she manages to turn it to her advantage the moment she sees Paro, grrrr....
Rudra wakes up and before he can fathom what Laila is doing, he sees Paro looking at the both of them, thinking probably the worst and walking away.
Rudra comes looking for Paro, finds a genuine reason to talk to her - He needs his Chai after all
(Go Paro, First the silent treatment and then the hunger treatment,
Koi bhi line par aa jaaye*wink*)
After getting the Royal Ignore Treatment from Paro, he walks off to meet his Dad who has witnessed the morning encounter of Rudra-Laila and Paro and he tries to drill some sense into Rudra.
Interesting convo, started off well, but they wrapped it up too quickly.
Dilsher as usual asks point blank, why did you have to tell her everything?
Rudra counters, I won't lie to her or keep her in the dark.
Dilsher reasons. You should not do that, but maybe confessing to the affair when Laila is in the house was not the brightest of ideas.
Dilsher manages to ask the most important question of all -
How much does the marriage to Paro mean to him?
Rudra who still has not admitted the above consciously to himself, storms off as usual.
Laila again tries to make Paro insecure by taunting about her affair with Rudra.
Laila does not realize for Paro, Laila is the least of concerns right now.
Laila offers to go away, immediately agreed to by Rudra but again the idea dismissed by Paro.
Rudra is gobsmacked at Paro's stand.
They communicate again, each hearing but not fully the comprehending what is implied.
Rudra admits Paro is upset, rightly so and he cannot see her like this.
Laila was his past. She does not matter to him at all. Never did.
It hurts him to see Paro hurt. (Implied - You mean everything to me Paro, I care for you too much, can't you see that)
Paro replies If Laila means nothing to him, then her presence should not matter to him.
As for letting Laila stay, for the first time Paro is wondering where does she stand in this marriage?
The only thing that binds them at the moment is the thread mangalsutra.
Nothing else.
(If at that moment, a voice inside you said - *MIG Alert*, don't blame you*wink*)
(She also apart from above alert, implied - He has not yet given her the security, the status of a wife.
It is she who has been staking claim to it all along, hoping for the day he will acknowledge, accept her as his wife. She needs answers and rightly so).
Maitli the ever perceptive, sensible one with whom Paro shares everything advises her to throw Laila out.
Love your bak-bak, Shwetha. Thanks for triggering off the discussion.
DeleteIt was a dream after all..... seemed a bit contrived for the drama. The subconscious gets manifested in a dream, that's exactly what happened with Paro here. She is not sure of Rudra's stand their marriage/relationship. And also her fear of Laila's proximity to Rudra.
Love the fact that Paro and Rudra actually communicate with each other. Very refreshing for a TV show. So she does ask him those hard hitting questions. Her status in his life.
Liked the Paro-Maithili conversation at the end. The writer's way of making us privy to Paro's thoughts.
I agree, this is what is so refreshing about this couple. They atleast ask the right questions, try to sort it out. Do they fully comprehend the answers, sometimes, yes, sometimes no. Then that is what makes this interesting, rather than a dumb MU that usually is resorted to by the makers.
DeleteLovely take, Shwetha. Adding to your interpretation of Paro's dream, Paro has also realised that Laila is staking claim to Rudra. Hence her rather cool - 'you're a guest here, and guests don't need to work.'
DeleteI think Paro IS still upset about Laila, and rightfully so ... she sees Rudra bothered by Laila being around, even after he has told Paro the truth ... so why is he still bothered about Laila? Why can't he tell Laila coolly ... stay or go, it doesn't matter, Paro knows everything about you and me, and she also knows that it's in my past. As I've told you, Now up to you whether you accept it or not ... I know it, and Paro knows it.
The very fact that Rudra is still bothered about Laila, and that he feels her presence bothers Paro, makes Paro more insecure ... should Laila's presence bother her?
And of course the ever present unspoken question in her mind ... if Rudra could be with Laila for so long without any love, then am I a fool for hoping he will some day love me? Was I reading all the signs wrong? Are we really meant to be a couple?
Great take, Diya. Hope you are enjoying your vacation and having a lovely time.
DeleteI feel Rudra is not over Laila a 100%. Not consciously, but maybe subconsciously. And until they both find closure, they cannot move on.
Word on your comment
'But if he isn't committed, then she can get rid of a hundred Laila's, there will be a 101st.'
Paro has been jolted into reality now. She wants to know her status in his life. Would be interesting when she leaves for a promise made to Lord Shiva. Would she matter enough for him to come after her. Right now, she is unsure.
just one observation - "darn tea cup!!!!"
DeleteKabab main haddi gets a new meaning!
:)
Mona
continuing:)
ReplyDeleteFrom Paro's pov, it made sense that why Laila's presence is not what that is bothering her.
Rudra had a relationship with a woman for 8 years, with no emotional attachment what so ever.
He walked away from her just like that one day.
Rudra cares for Paro, that she knows.
But the care was deeply mixed up as she was in his protective custody.
Post marriage, he has shown he cares for her.
Then again, she knows he is a good, fair, caring man under the tough exterior.
This time, Paro demands more especially in the light of his relationship with Laila.
If he could walk away from a woman after 8 years, why will he stick around with Paro unless he truly loves Paro.
I think that is where Paro stands at the moment, at crossroads.
Exactly! Especially as he entered into the relationship with Laila out of his own need, while with Paro it was against his will ... for his need, but a different one ... need to save his job. Once his job is secure, will he continue to want to stay married to her? Will he ever love her, as she was hoping he would ... has he really started caring for her, as she thought he had? Or is this all only her imagination, her own hope, seeing what she wants to see?
DeleteDia, pretty much the same questions were asked by Paro today too.
DeleteFew other things:
ReplyDelete****Dilsher helped Samrat with his new business by giving him some money (where did he get it, don't ask).
If the above track means less of Laila, then am very happy.
If I were to ulta decode, the whole convo looked like
ST paid a retainer fee to the Actor. You are still in the show.
You might not have much scenes in the future, so you can look for other roles, but you are still very much part of the show.
Be careful, do not sign up with a rival channel and goof up.
****They say tension causes one to lose hair.
Never knew tension causes one to have a good haircut.
Between the angry conversation with Rudra to the time Paro came to give Dilsher, his tea, the bapu sa had very tensed moments, leading to hair loss, which ended up giving him a nice haircut.
Wah Wah!!!
Glad they started off a parallel track with Samrat launching a new business. Anything for less of Laila screentime.
DeleteVaise, Dilsher did end up having quite a cold tea.
About the father-son conversation, disagree with Dilsher's reason to keep the relationship hidden from Paro. In spite of the repercussions, it was best for her to hear of the torrid details from the horse's mouth than a colored version from Laila.
LOL at your ulta decode. Now that Sunehri is back, do we get to see a bit of Aman too?
Hahaha... Good to be back guys. Miss your comments Dia. And well done Shwetha. I think Ritika rightly pointed out the fact that Dilsher had a cold tea. The time on the clock during Bade & Chote Ranawat was 10. And Paro came in with the chai a little after 4. :D :D
DeleteDunno if Samrat is launching a new business or they have given a valid reason for one more character to go gaayab, Oh he is in Jaisalmer or is it Jaipur for his business.
DeleteKuch bhi ho, we had less of Laila*relieved*
As for Dilsher, he might be a terrible role model when it comes to relationships, but he did have a point with the timing of the whole thing.
Ofcourse Dilsher is not aware that Laila has been taunting/giving hints to Paro and Rudra had no other option to tell her the truth
Lol, Everytime I see Sunehri, I sincerely hope they show Aman. Or Rudra in uniform equals Aman's appearance for sure.
Madhu: Lolllllll, Really, I did'nt note that. Got too distracted by the sudden haircut.
@Madhu you have recorded the timing too... So Dilsher had his evening tea.
Delete@ Shwetha good point for Samrat to go MIA. But I would like him to stay for a parallel track as Ritika has pointed out. It will give less space to Laila as she will be staying for a while it seems.
LOL Madhu. Didn't notice that. I meant it along the lines of series of events. I guess in between Dilsher found time to get a hair-cut as well :)
DeleteLaila was it tiny bit bearable today. Maybe due to the less screen time. Or perhaps the fact that the hamming has been toned down.... at bit.
I do wonder how the story would have progressed if they had retained the original characterization... of an informer instead of a hooker. It would not have gone down well with the TRP audience for sure. But would have made an interesting viewing.
Last of spamming pucca:)
ReplyDeletePrecap discussion:
So they have a Katputhli/Puppet dance which Sunehri decides everyone should go.
They invite Laila too.
Laila being smart, politely refuses as she can chance pe dance with Rudra.
Q - Will Rudra after realizing Paro is not at home, go to meet her?
Another Heer Ranjha IPK confession sort possible?
Or Everyone will come home to see Laila in Rudra's arms?
Your thoughts?
Not sure about this, Shwetha. Maybe the first one.
DeleteAbout the family coming home to see Laila is Rudra's arms, they are all aware of the relationship between the two. Well, apart from Sunehri. And like Lakshmi said, it is too cliched. RR writers don't do cliche :)
Apparantly a new promo is out where Rudra/Paro are dancing like puppets????!!!
DeleteDunno, looks like we are headed the Heer Ranjha confession way.
Puppet dance??? No idea. let's wait for it to play out.
DeleteLovely posts Shwetha. Haven't seen the episode yet (at work) - but was hoping you had posted your bakbak - love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for liking my bakbak*Hugs*
DeleteArchana: Where is your bakbak?
Hello Archana, are you new here? Welcome! Good to see new people here as well as us old regulars! :)
DeleteShwetha, love reading your ulta decodes. Between nice post dear. You have highlighted Paro's stand in Dia's style and other dram in your style. Did I tell you ...you are too good in story telling. Love your style with unhurting sarcasm and excellent comic sense. Keep doing.
ReplyDeleteI too notice Dilsher's haircut. Between Paro may not give Chai to banna, but she's preparing Bhindi ke sabzi as he asked her to prepare.
So now the ball is in Rudra's court . Well played by Paro. She is matured enough to look beyond his past , but cautious enough to Know her present and future stand. I want to forget her bolenaath deal till this track ends.
After watching today's episode, I felt slowly CV's are coming on track. Hope trp too helps them.
About precap, I'm not sure about confession, but definitely a big NO to your second prediction. CV's have always surprised us, Rudra in Laila's arm will be cliched, so fingers crossed.
Dia have a happy and safe journey. Will be eagerly looking forward to read your takes. TC:)
Lakshmi thanks:)
DeleteHope Dia finds time to update this week's episodes.
Hope so too, so far they have tried to avoid cliches as much as possible, hopefully they will surprise us here too.
Apparently, there is a new promo.
ReplyDeleteParo and Rudra are doing a puppet dance and Laila is aiming a dagger at them, in puppet style
Paro sure has an active imagination. No way can this be an actual scene.
Just posted the same above. I know Ashish is going to be in JDJ, looks like we are going to get a preview of his dancing skills till JDJ ends in RR itself.
DeleteHave to say, promo department is bakwas. Rather than a puppet dance, they could have given us a dialogue promo, that would be nice.
Imagine all excited about will Laila stay back for Rudra, What will Rudra do and you get a promo that he is supposedly dancing with Paro, killing the suspense, grrr...
hi everyone,
ReplyDeletefirst of all, love to see the blog buzzing in spite of dia's absence.i quite agree with ritika, anything for less of laila on screen.and i think the parallel track this time may be good.its quite a pleasure to see more of dilsher, kaakusa and maithili.
and what does the new promo mean?any symbolism from ur side, friends?
lakshmi, bhindi ki sabzi point, well mentioned.i never want the 2nd prediction to happen.dunno what they are going to come up with?but surely epis like today's will be more favoured by trp viewers and the loyal audience alike.
shwetha,
IT WAS A RELIEF and JOY TO READ UR COMMENTS.and why do u limit ur bak-bak in just 4 posts.ur posts leave the readers with the feeling of 'dil maange more'.
paro baisa's strategy is good, silent treatment,no chai treatment and the royal ignore treatment.wonder how long rudra will put up with this.
talking abt laila,i'm more with maithili, whatever be the reason, throw laila out first, phir koi kaam dooja.and can paro be not so cordial with laila and forbid her from entering their room in a polite, yet strong tone.would love to see that scene.dunno if this is leading to rudra's confession, but hope rudra somehow manages to stop paro from leaving.the cvs can bring the req.passion and romance in that situation too.
it was also mentioned by udit shukla[the actor playing sumer]in the new TB article that soon he will be back with a bang.if that's leading to laila's temporary ouster, that'll be good.what do u all think?
waisey, shwetha, did u read my reply to ur precap discussion post in last day's post?????do drop a comment on what do u think abt it.others can join in too.
dia, waiting to read ur take.have a happy journey.and one more thing, what to do if my comment disappears while u r away?should i refrain from posting till u return?
ratna.
DeleteRatna: Oye keep posting. Save a copy of it in some text document if you have to, till it stops playing hide and seek. So you can easily repost it, if Dia cannot retrieve it in time.
I have not seen the promo, but if Rudra and Paro are dancing as puppets*Rolls eyes*, then you can say either they are puppets at the hands of God or Laila........take a pick.
If I write more than 4, dil maangay more will change to Kick maarna chaahay more, lol.
Waisay it was unitentional, had exceeded the word limit so had to split my comments.
Will go back and read and tapkofy later to continue the discussion.
ps Lakshmi: Forgot to add earlier, good catch on the bhindi ki sabzi.
Ratna, keep posting ... I see your posts in my email, and when I can get to a pc, I retrieve them. While I'm on holiday, I will be out the entire day, so will retrieve them only in the evenings. So there may be a 12 hour gap, but they will appear. Also try following the blog ... there is a post on the top right which lists the followers, if you add yourself, I think your posts won't go into Spam.
DeleteRatna, chill yaar. Laila will be here for some more time. She will be a catalyst to bring Parud close . If they concentrate on other tracks as all have pointed out, then Laila will have less screen space. So it will be bearable. Keep posting when Dia is here why fear. She will take care of the hide and seek game.
DeleteP.S I'm also enjoying the buzz in R&R .
Ratna did you mean the kids track, then I hope NOT!
Deleteshwetha,can u explain why?
Deletebcoz i have seen after ipk ended, even in R&R, dia wanted to see such a track.likewise,i know many others who were craving to see such a track and expressed their disappointment.when the show ended.
what i meant was not in the BALH way, but, see not any time soon but after a year or so,they can come up with this track.i'm sure that won't affect the storyline at all.sorry if i offended u.but that was my personal wish to see something like that.i always love such tracks in tv shows,be it little meera of saathiya/little pihu of BALH etc.
ratna.
post disappeared.so posting again.sorry for inconvenience.

Ratna, please do continue to post. In case you use Chrome, try the Hola! add in. It works great for IP specific spam triggers.
DeleteI agree with you about Maithili. One of the most sensible people in the house. And can they please have Paro forbidding Laila from entering their room.
Ratna I mean this, I will figure out a way to send Paro's danda to you virtually, if you keep apologizing so much -
DeleteFor the length of your post, your bakbak or offending/inconvenience or any such thing)
What are friends for?
This blog is special as you can vent, do bak(was) bak(was) like me and just have fun.
The reason I am not keen on any kiddo is
Of the few shows I have seen, Indian TV kiddos are totally obnoxious. Either Saccharine sweet or spoilt brats.
I have not seen BALH OR SNS, but again a Kiddo means the parents gets separated on a flimsy issue and blah blah....
So you see I am not too keen on kiddo track.
Ofcourse thankfully the possibility of Aarav track does not arise as Rudra was going Har Raat to Laila and as much as he is a dhakkan, he would have noticed her being pregnant.
Unles, Before that 8 saal he had another Zaila in his life??
*Hugs* and have fun:)
"as much as he is a dhakkan, he would have noticed her being pregnant" - priceless!!!
Deletei too cant stand kids on tv - they are so very ... precocious!!!
Eagerly waiting for Rudra dev's act next. What he will do to convince Paro. I am getting a feeling that Paro will leave Rudra when the realization of their love for each other reaches its peak. The question is whether he relapses or did Paro help him overcome his past at all?
ReplyDeleteGuys... Please let me know what you think about this angle.
If they are aiming for Rudra wooing Paro back, thoda angst, thoda drama, the above would be perfect.
DeleteMadhu I liked what you said above. It will be a treat to watch.
DeleteThey will wait for Rudra to confess, maybe not directly... but a farak padhta hai types before Paro leaves him. I doubt he would have overcome his past since he is still not made peace with his mother's betrayal.
DeleteAs long as Laila is out of the picture, or atleast he is over her completely before Paro leaves, it would be a treat to watch. DO NOT want him to rekindle his relationship with Laila on the rebound.

I'm really clueless how they will fit this dance. But Parud are cute. I liked their dance.
Did you listen to the song, it is about ek raja and ek raani.
DeleteSo am guessing as the song out plays out with the puppets, the lyrics will resonate with paro and she will imagine all three of them in the story and they will take it from there.
The chances are Rudra finds out from Laila that Paro is not in the home, he will more likely follow her and towards the end of the performance, the Heer Ranjha confession might happen.
Something about that performance that will reconnect them.
Otherwise you will have the yawn cliched thing of the family seeing Rudra and Laila together.
I want a bike ride or a jeep ride, Bas!!!
Paro is dreaming too much by the way these days...
Thanks for the promo link, Lakshmi.
DeleteDefinitely an imagination. Rudra using his right hand is a dead giveaway.
Shwetha, it does seem it would go the way you predicted. What matters is where Rudra exactly is at the time. As I mentioned above, the writers don't do cliche. Plus, most of the family are aware of the Rudra-Laila history.
Dia you should post this in the forum. I made the mistake of replying to one of the post*kicks self* and was taken aback by the staunch refusal to even make an effort to understand Paro.
ReplyDeleteDitto to everything you said especially this:
If he is committed, then a hundred Laila's can come and go, she doesn't care. But if he isn't committed, then she can get rid of a hundred Laila's, there will be a 101st.
Ps Laksmi thanks for the promo
Do not go there. Shwetha. The forum is as polarised as can be. It is beginning to really put me off.
DeleteDia, thank you so much for this blog. Where all opinions are welcome, and we can discuss the show freely and openly. Love the fact that R&R is buzzing again.
Err.. that did not come out right. What I meant was "Don't even go there".
Deletelol, Ritika, I got you.
DeleteDitto on what you said about R&R:)
I am so glad you girls are here making this place lively and buzzing again ... I MUCH prefer being here than the forum ... that place is crazy! Paro is confused these days, and no wonder ... she's been hit with a sixer right in the face, and she doesn't know how to react. She's not right or wrong ... she's very insecure, confused and trying her best to balance her world, which has suddenly gone topsy turvy ... between her earlier blind faith in the rightness of her and Rudra vs this new history of Laila ... she doesn't know what to think, what to believe. Laila is making things worse for her by putting in her darts everywhere as to how well she knows Rudra, and how Paro will never know him as well. And Rudra ... all he knows is that he is miserable if Paro is unhappy, and he has to make her smile again. But he can't extrapolate it to accepting that he loves her. That eight vachan is the crucial one ... he said he will never be hers ... he has to accept that he can and will ONLY be Paro's ... he always was, and always will be. And that's why he could never be Laila's even after eight years of being with her.
DeleteWell said Dia.
DeleteI think Paro is very much confused right now. I would not call her insecure. Though Rudra's revelation has knocked her for a six, she has take his liaison with Laila to the chin. Arrrreee..... She prayed to Bholenath that she would leave Rudra, the day he gets better. In the event of Rudra nurturing feelings for Laila, Paro would understand and would leave him (though it would kill her to do it). But that is not the case. It is Rudra's lack of commitment that is making things worse. Keeping your wife and your ex under a single roof is no easy thing. It is definitely not easy for Rudra, because of the nature of his relationship with Laila. Rudra has not exorcised his demons completely. That is very clear. He is still too scared to make a solid commitment to Paro. Personally, I would prefer if Rudra takes his sweet time to fully commit himself to Paro. He has to face the root cause of his problems to get rid of the negativity and bitterness once for all. But not sure, what the creative team has planned for this track. They are better judges of the TRP audience and would take the track to the next level accordingly.
20 May Tuesday
ReplyDeleteMaitli tries to drill some sense into Paro.
If you love your husband, why are you complicating your marriage further by not throwing Laila out.
With Laila gone, it will be easier for Rudra and you right?
Paro counters
You can't force love. I don't know if he will be able to love me...today, tomorrow or ever....maybe never as he still has feelings for Laila?
As much as Maitli makes absolute sense, I find it hard to dismiss Paro's logic too.
Rurda has to decide between the two of them. The decision cannot be made with one of them out of sight.
It has to be a well thought decision - His past or his present.
The puppet show.
Sunehri excitedly informs Maitli and Paro that she has permission from Mohini to go to the fair where it is being held.
The puppet show has some nice memories for Paro.
She smiles and seems excited to go.
(Asli Gyaan - Don't miss out on small happiness whatever tough time you might be going through.....The small things do add up)
Mandatory Parud Scene involving a watch.......Cute,sweet.
As part of their convo, Paro tells him, it is better if he takes out his anger on her.
Rudra literally pleads with her, But I am not angry with you.
*Shwets thoughts - Woah!!!!!!! What just happened there?
Rudra thinks Paro is angry with him.
Paro thinks Rudra is angry with her.
Yo!!!! Who is writing this show again?
B&B, Yo watch your own show will ya?
It is not just enough writing it, see if it is getting executed properly too.
Digesting the Babaji ka Thullu moment, Shwets moves on, hmphhh....
As per the new Vaastu arrangement made by god knows who,
the new living room is Rudra-Paro's bedroom.
Don't believe me?
Look at the ease with which Aman and Sunehri and ofcourse HAILA come and go.
Laila's new name - HAILA
(Hindi wala Hai and Yes I am not a naamkaran expert, I admit:))
So Aman enters and not even a Hello Bhabhi from his side or Hello Aman Bhaisa from Paro's end??
Anyway it seems Aman has come to pick Rudra up.
In that scene I leave it up to you to decide what excited Sunehri more -
Aman's presence or going to the Puppet show.
Anyhow Girls day out gets cancelled by Rudra as the area where they are going is where Tejavat's men were last seen.
Rudra reasons Paro is a witness and pretty much everyone knows they are related to Rudra, so it is not worth going.
Everyone's disappointed. Sunehri tries one last time.
Suggests Rudra can accompany them and so can this guy looking coyly at Aman.
Aman looks at Sunehri and his expresson convey:
Whatttttttttttt?!!!
Are you talking about me??
Are you kidding me??
Before we get further insight into what Aman is thinking, Rudra declares, No one will go and that is final.
Sunehri pouts. You know Bhaisa, Bhabhi sa was upset since morning, she really seemed excited to go too.
Rudra goes, Ohhhhhhh Damn and has his menthos moment.
He arranges for the puppet show to come home and perform.
Whole family is surprised and happy to watch the performance. Can I just add how nice it was to see the whole family all happy :)
Laila bribes them (with newspaper? ) and I think the Puppet show owner decides to tell another story.
The act begins.
The story hits close to home.
If I got it right, it is about a King who meets/brings home a queen.
The queen loves him, but the King is controlled by an evil witch and either she kills the queen or takes the king away from her.
Paro looks upset and Rudra who is watching his wife more than the act, realizes something about the act is upsetting her and asks them to stop it.
Again a private convo happens publicly between Rudra and Paro.
Rudra - The king brought the queen home. He forced her to stay.
Paro - True, but when the Queen falls in love with him, why is the King unable to reciprocate.
It is cos he is controlled by the witch and he wants to live in the past rather than the present.
The king wants the Queen to go away.
Quick takes - Paro-Maithili ... Paro says love can't be forced ... if Rudra did not fall in love with Laila in eight years, will he ever fall in love with me? Two interpretations - he felt something for Laila, despite his denials, that's why he kept going back to her. After all, eight years is a long time in a monogamous relationship ... can Rudra really deny that there were any emotions at all?
DeleteAnd second - Laila is a representation of his past ... it's not Laila she's worried about, but his past ... can he ever discard it, come out of it? Will he ever be able to leave the ghosts behind? Laila is only one of them ... he is so used to living in the darkness, can he live in the light ever again?
The last bit seemed like laying the foundation for Paro to finally take the plunge and leave ... fulfill her vow, and leave it to her Bholenath, if they are really destined to be together, it's Rudra's turn to bring her back. And Bholenath will send Rudra to her again. After all, Bholenath has brought them together, first in childhood and then again now ... he will do so again.
And this part seemed silly ... the puppet owner has been brought there by Rudra, and he succumbs to a bribe by a woman he knows is not part of the family? Isn't he scared of the BSD clout?
DeleteShweths....
DeleteRegarding the private-convo-happening-publicly..... Kya fayda hai? Waise bhi, Rudra aur Paro darwaaza bandh karke baat nahin karenge. Anyone can easily enter/exit their room. So, it doesn't really matter where they have this discussion. Ithni badi haveli mein, kisiko bhi privacy nahin hain. No wonder Samrat-Maithili don't have kids. Poor souls don't get space for themselves.
Shwetha - thank you thank you thank you for posting on the blog as soon as the episode airs. I am at work at that time and IF has become impossible to read (esp. on my phone;) Just bakwas jhagda. So it's been great reading your take of the episode here. Thanks for doing it when Diya is on vacation. Diya - thanks for posting your thoughts even when on vacation.
DeleteLadies - I have been stalking the blog for quite a while now and decided to out myself. I really enjoy the discussions and shwetha you are so humorous - too funny :). Lakshmi, Ritika, Ratna, Madhu-mita - thanks for the insights. I have to admit I am a huge Sanaya fan and so very biased to the character she portrays.
I enjoy the serial - you really have to learn to take the episodes as is and not over-analyze. I saw an interview with Geetanjali where she said minor tweaks are made daily to react to viewers an TRPs. So sometimes there seems to be a disconnect. As long as the show is enjoyable - I'll take it. But I do love how the viewers (including you all) catch things like Dilsher's haircut between scenes and the time it took to get the cuppa tea to him by Paro :) Too funny. It is quite ridiculous the lack of privacy these couple have and as madhu-mitha put it - no wonder Maithili- Samrat don't have kids :D
I can't stand Laila but I think that's what the creators want. The actor is a bit OTT but that's what the director wants I guess. I would love less screen space for her - she's been getting on my nerves.
I really do wish they would find someone better for Aman - Suneheri is not good enough (in my opinion).
Now I want Paro to make a counter deal with Bholenath - make Rudra confess his love for me and I will never leave him :) What say?
Talk to you guys soon.
Welcome to the group Archana :)
DeleteHi Archana, welcome on board:)
DeleteDia: Since they do not have bank episodes which is pity as one of the reasons I was so impressed with STs team was the bank episodes they used to have while shooting for MB.
DeleteNow till Ashish's JDJ stint is over, I doubt they will be able to do the same.
To me yesterday's episode looked like they had changed the track again.......Although, have to give it to them.
They did say through Mohini, Sumer will be gayab for 2 weeks and he did come back.......well honestly I think it is two weeks but even if it is not so, they do have some idea about the future tracks they are going to take. Unfortunately due to the Trp pressures, they have had to accelerate some of the tracks and bring them much earlier than they wanted to.
Madhu: Looks like the generation Y of Ranavat is never going to get any privacy. The Z generation of Ranavat seems a distant reality.
Archana - I think she has to leave him. What you said, will be made by Rudra. Get her back to me and then I will never let her go.
Hopefully, the guy makes the effort to bring herback, let us see...
Hi Archana. Welcome to R&R
DeleteShwetha, I thought they did have bank episodes. Now it seems they are playing it by the ear, and tweaking tracks based on TRPs.
Laila is hated by all, and we can't wait to see her leave the haveli. In spite of it all, Ankita and the team did manage to get this right. Got to hand that to them.
They did when they started out, hence there was a smooth flow in the story as well as characterizations. But due to the TRP sword plus few offscreen troubles, they are literally shooting a day before airtime.
DeleteAbhi toh theek hai, In June when Monsoon hits, we know all TV Shows race to build a bank and the entire team is going to be even more pushed to the limits - be it the actors, writers and the rest of the team.
Sometimes I really hope they should do away with TRPs. Decide the story, and follow it through. Let it be limited episodes. Atleast we will get to see a more cohesive story without the butchering of characters.
DeleteRR team needs to build up a bank. With JDJ in the offing, we would end up being treated to filler episodes and more Laila drama. Although I must say they managed quite well when Ashish suddenly took ill.
Precap
ReplyDeleteRudra never finishes his Daal, Laila points this to Paro.
Mohini taunts Paro that Laila has been quick to note Rudra's eating habits unlike Paro.
My guess -
Rudra is going to eat that cup of daal or the kadhaai/casserole of Daal to prove a point.
Later ofcourse he will empty a bottle of Gelusil/Digene.
Love kay liye saala kuch bhi Khaayega...I mean Karega.
Gelusil/Digene.....Vintage wine u r Shweths.....Hugs....
DeleteRekhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhssssssssssssssss: *Hugsssss*
DeleteLaila met Sumer today.
ReplyDeleteOkay shoot me, but I actually liked Laila and Sumer together.
And hayeeeeeeeee, Sumer was back....with Mohini.
Yipppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeee.....Their scenes are always a treat to watch.
Warning - Laila will get married to Sumer.
We might see a new Deepali, ofcourse this one is nowhere close MB's Deepali who was in a leauge of her own.
Am actually looking forward to this.
You know why?
Imagine Laila will be Mohini's Bahu/Sumer's fiancee.
How happy Mohini will be about that na???
Waisay I do feel sorry for Sumer, his Taajmahal wala Dil and all, let us see what happens.
Thanks. For the update Shwetha. So you liked Laila and Sumer? Sumer is a very good actor and is able to hold his own against Ananya. Don't think Ankita will be able to match him either.
DeleteAt the risk of sounding like a broken record, I do lament that they did not get a stronger actress to play Laila - that would really have upped the ante as she plays a spurned woman..............alas............@least Mohini will have her comeuppance with Laila as her bahu......par Maithili ka Kay Hogarth??? Bechai pis jayegi
Nice take Shwetha. Lot happened today. True it's good to see whole family together.
DeleteI don't know about Laila- Sumer , but after watching them together, one thing is clear CV's are planning to hold Laila for some more time. As you sow so you reap, KCM will be in big trouble then. Indirectly she's increasing members list of haveli. Between it's good to watch Sumer- Mohini.
Parud definitely lack privacy. I felt their private talk ended abruptly, so it seems to be beating around the bush. I agree with you something was missing there.
I second your precap prediction.
P.S I liked the puppet dance. Both Sanaya and Ashish did well.
*embarrassed* sorry guys, Hogarth and Bechai were the machine's creations.........mine were 'hoga' and 'bechari'............
DeleteNice take, Shwetha.
DeleteParo is as vulnerable as can be. She just wants a confirmation that Rudra does love her, and it is not just a 'witness protection'.... something he has claimed time and again. Rudra is being pushed to a corner. Let's see if it puts him off, or if he confesses his love. Do we expect a love confession soon? I feel it is a bit too early. Maybe a 'farak padtha hai'.
BTW, what happened to the 'farak padtha hai' promo? Don't think the scene aired yet.
Paro thinks Rudra is angry. Huh, yeh kab hua? If anything, she was angry at him. We have a different set of writers for episodes?
The very public conversation could have been avoided. Maybe, it was for the added drama.
SuLa is finally happening. Not looking forward to Laila in the haveli 24x7, but would love to see Mohini squirming. Doubt the two will actually get married. Going by the launch-time interviews, Sumer supposed to be paired with Nandini. I do recall reading the actor's interview about that.
True, Ritika, Paro is confused, she is insecure, she is upset and trying not to be ... she's trying to see the positives, but probably for the first time in her life, she is finding it difficult ... partly because of her own insistence that Laila stay on in the haveli , giving Laila plenty of opportunity to rub it in how well she knows Rudra, and how little Paro does. Maybe that's Paro's own agnipariksha she is giving herself ... after all, Paro has always been the one to face her troubles head on and not run away from them ... keeping Laila in the haveli does exactly that. This is the worst situation she can face ... seeing her husband's old flame in front of her eyes ... it would be great if Laila would leave, Rudra would throw her out at a moment's notice if Paro said so, and no one would object ... but that doubt would always remain in Paro's mind ... does Rudra still feel anything for Laila?
DeleteAnd Rudra can say that he felt nothing for Laila ... he also said the same about Paro till a short while ago ... she knows that Rudra doesn't always mean what he says, definitely as far as she is concerned. Is it the same with Laila? So there are reasons for Paro's doubts ... maybe keeping Laila in the haveli isn't the best way to get rid of them, but Paro can't think what else to do for now. Just the fact that Rudra had a relationship for eight years with Laila is over-riding her thought processes completely, and making her very insecure.
Dia, nice to read your posts. Thanks for doing this in your holidays. Hope you are having good time. You have written very well about Paro's current state.
DeleteI don't know what the creatives have planned with this track. But it's too early to question Paro's stand, her beliefs that's what is happening in IF. I don't want to jump to any conclusion. Laila's revelation and it's aftermath will bring in new dimension to Parud love story and their dynamics will go for a change. Which has already started to happen. It's not about right or wrong in a love story. It's the changes and how they grow as couple will make their journey beautiful to watch. I can see that on screen and I'm enjoying it.
Glad to read all your views.
Dia: This:
Deletet would be great if Laila would leave, Rudra would throw her out at a moment's notice if Paro said so, and no one would object ... but that doubt would always remain in Paro's mind ... does Rudra still feel anything for Laila?
And Rudra can say that he felt nothing for Laila ... he also said the same about Paro till a short while ago ... she knows that Rudra doesn't always mean what he says, definitely as far as she is concerned. Brilliantly put!!!
I agree Dia. As predicted, the past revelation has made Paro confused, vulnerable and an emotional mess. She was always the emotionally stronger one. The whole things has sent her beliefs for a toss. She believed her love would be enough for the two of them, even if Rudra did not reciprocate, Now his relationship with Laila is making her wonder if she did have a chance at all.
DeleteIt does seem like they are laying a foundation of the separation track. And Paro needs some kind of confirmation that Rudra would come after her once she leaves. His actions may be a sign that he loves her... but they are always coupled with a 'you are a witness, I need to take care of you' or similar stuff. Even the drunken state scene (Jaipur one) had him lamenting having met her. Can't blame Paro for not picking up the signs.
dia,
ReplyDeletefinally.i have officially joined blogger and started following ur blog.now i hope the comments dont disappear.pls mention if there are any more formalties.waiting to read ur take.
shwetha,ur posts brought a smile to my face esp..' the casserole of daal'.hope rudra does something like that.well,i got enough from today's last scene and precap, why oh why, laila is the star of the show nowadays?and see, paro's talk of leaving even echoed.in the scene where paro ardently listens to laila while she was blabbering about won't come,I SO WANTED TO GO AND GIVE PARO A TASTE OF HER DANDA,
seriously paro,i know u are sensible, mature and even mahaan [sorry but i'm really pissed off],but pls BEHAVE NORMALLY.just think that laila don't exist and carry on with life and if possible, give her some chilly-coated remarks too.i'm sure nobody in the haveli would mind.in fact, maithili and dilsher will be pleased too.but if paro is going to go in the same way,i dunno what will happen to the show and trps?
talking abt rudra,i think GH is confused too.he professes that he does not love laila but why do i feel that he has not got over on it completely?there is still a chance that he can be manipulated by laila if paro leaves due to her waada?as lakshmi mentioned y'day, the ball is in rudra's court now.his decision will be the turning point of the storyline.i know its too early for confession but keepingin mind, laila's exit, they should get to it fast, possibly within this week.I SO WANT TO SEE LAILA'S EXIT [TEMPORARY HI SAHI]
abt sumer-laila,even i enjoyed them watching on screen but a big NO to their marriage.though that will be a lesson to kaakisa, but,CANT BEAR TO SEE LAILA AS A PERMANENT MEMBER OF THE HAVELI!
shwetha,i had watched MB and to tell u the truth, dipali was nowhere as dangerous to rk-madhu as laila is to parud.in MB,RK was crystal clear that he hates dipali and even madhu knew how to answer dipali back properly.but that's not the case with parud.also,if at all laila continues to stay as sumer's fiancee/something,
i have a wishful scene, where mala has returned, taken charge of the haveli from mohini and protects her bahu and give good ones to kaakisa and laila and teaching paro to do so and takes control of the situation.[dunno it'll happen/not,but i'm pretty sure that both sadiya and sanaya can nail such scenes to perfection]wht do u all think?
loved the katputli dance and was smiling all the way through amen-sunehri scenes.and banna has started becoming a good bhaisa too!!can really feel what maithili's thoughts.she's as good as paro's own sister.if only she was strong enough to strictly knock some sense into her behna!do drop in ur thoughts everyone.
ratna.
ps:shwetha, thnx for replying to the kiddos post.well,i dont want a danda but it's my aadat to immediately apologise,so will try to reduce it.but i don't get which serials u watched where kids turn obnoxious.in fact,in whichever show i have watched, kids act as catalysts and add to the charm of the story.u should really take some time out to watch some scenes of BALH and SNS[i think they are available on youtube] of little pihu and toddler meera[who looked like a barbie doll].even little mannu of BW and ruhi of YHM are a pleasure to watch.so i hope to see parud's kid track too, sometime later, in the show.
Ratna, Don't think CV's will open Mala's track before ending Laila's equation in Parud's life.Mala has left the family , abandoned her son and got married to Thakur. So definitely being a conservative family, they will not welcome her with open hands.I think Paro when she comes to know about her being Rudra's mother, may take time to warm up again with Thakurain. I still hope the CV's have a better story to justify Mala's actions. I feel Dilsher will be the first person to accept her....Anyways, Paro and Mala joining hands and taking control will not happen now. On the other hand, Mala and Paro are not like KCM, who wants to control everything and everyone around her. So it won't happen.
DeleteI agree with you, Ratna. Don't want to see Laila as a permanent member of the haveli.
DeleteInteresting point, Lakshmi. Opening up the Mala track now will make a hodge podge of the whole situation. Got to cut Rudra some slack. Best he deals with his issues one at a time, instead of plonking them all together. If Mala comes into the picture now, Laila is sure to use that chink against the couple. Rudra is fairly vulnerable when it comes to his mother and her betrayal.
Ratna: Paro is not Mohini that she will give chilli coated remark. She max can give sugar coated ones........which work.
DeleteIt worked on Rudra. Ofcourse he was smarter than Haila to understand the deeper meaning.
The whole thing about Laila being a guest sort of conveyed the same thing.
For instance, I would love if Paro tells Mohini, So what if Laila has noticed this about Rudra. It does not matter. She will go away soon. I am going to be the one who is going to stay and if I miss something I am sure Rudra will tell me or will not mind too much.
It has been less than 24 hours for her, so she needs time to process the whole thing. She will hit back, pucca.
When she does, Laila will get thrown out and ofcourse will entry maaorfy with Sumer.
Ratna, the actress who played Dipali was brilliant.
Infact, you could actually see Chemistry between RK & Deepali, the scenes used to sizzle and mind you I dont mean lovey dovey type.
There were times when you realized Deepali understood him better and somewhere you wondered or wished they were together even if it was for a nanosecond.
The problem here is Ankita is not able to get the sympathy factor at all. You watch her and you realize, She has no clue about Rudra or wants him to do well. Deepali always rooted for RK's success.
So as you say there is a mismatch and if the makers are trying to aim for Laila bani Deepali, Nope fat chance of that happening.
I know it what I wrote might sound confusing, Sorry it has been really one of those hectic days in AD:(
Ratna I have this really strange habit of watching only one Indian TV show at a time. Mind you I can watch multiple American shows*reminds self to catch up with the Blacklist*
So I have not watched the shows you have mentioned, I sincerely I doubt I will watch it either. I am sure they are good, just not my cup of tea.
I mean I used to love Home Improvement, love Modern Family and all the Disney kiddo shows, but indian telly abhi tak nahin, but who knows?
The actress playing Mala is busy with some movie shoot plus if they are going to bring Tejavat in, then they have to find a replacement.
DeleteRight now they will drag Laila as long as necessary till they have next 3 months track atleast figured out - My guess.
To those fretting over the Laila intrusion (for reasons like poor acting/conceptualisation), I would say don't look to kill conflict points in the story. If u do that...u kill the essence of what is planned for in the story. If the Cvs have made Laila an antagonist, it should make the lovers of Rudra-Paro happy becos if they had been sympathetic to Laila, it would have made the love story that much more difficult to translate on screen. So in a way, the poor acting/drama has ensured that it is not likened to a case of "ek radha ek meera donon ne shyaam ko chaha, antar kya donon ke chaah me bolo"; I am not saying that it would not made a good story in that scenario too, just that our sensibilities are not really attuned to such things and it would take some master storytelling to portray that sensitively
ReplyDeleteSome of my thoughts on the current track
Rudra’s lack of belief in their bond did not stop Paro from becoming his “jogan”. Now, we say that the faith is shaken…Right..but faith based on what? As the breakdown of faith is caused here by a third person, she has to confront it irrespective of the answers she gets from Rudra. The lack of faith did not deter her in the past, so if it threatens to now, (naturally!) it’s a walk that Paro has to undertake to know what is her own faith/love in Rudra based on? Let’s be clear here, there is no breach of faith from Rudra’s end on this matter, unless we say sin of omission. *wink* If she has come to terms with his ex-relationship, his answers that Laila is insignificant in the scheme of things today should have been the clincher but it is obviously not so becos Paro’s leading questions yesterday to Rudra were not about Laila_Rudra but of Rudra_Paro. Altho I do believe it should definitely go beyond the aspect of "where do i stand now with you" or "why should her presence matter to you, if u feel nothing for her"
The relationship shared by Rudra and Laila should be a matter of concern and bafflement for Paro. It could be a calibrator for her own relationship even in how it is different and for reasons thereof. It could also help her come to terms with whether she can live with this knowledge becos its not an easy one. It would be odd if the transition from a heartbroken Paro to a stoic Paro is handled without any nuances. In a sense from yesterday’s epi, Paro’s “I can handle this if u can” is a very sangfroid approach and in contrast the spirited “what right do I have”? managed to look misplaced in the situation. (tho as Dia put it, I understand the compulsions!!)
I presume from Shweths’s update today that there is some amount of introspection coming in from Paro’s end today altho I am yet to see the last few episodes except for a few scenes
Rekhs, plz keep tapkofying more na.
DeleteI think Paro was beginning to be sure of her place minus Laila factor.
Even when Laila came, her dialogue when he said how can you let her stay, you are my wife, made her feel happy that atleast he has started to acknowledge her as his wife.
Unfortunately for Paro, the fact that he was in a relationship with Laila for 8 years with no emotional attachment completely threw her off.
And leading to some nice introspection and questions from both end. I am totally cool with Laila. I like Ankita yaar, she seems sweet and she is trying something out of her comfort zone, so I am willing to give her time.
As you said, her questions have changed from do you have feelings for her to will you be ever able to love me. It is very interestingly poised at the moment. I wonder what answer Rudra gave that everyone seemed to go back to dinner and how did Aman appear in the precap?
Kyun Shweth are u wondering about Rudra's answer....Kuch nahin they were feeling hungry..bas aur kya...soapland mein bhi logon ko bhook lagti hain....
DeleteProblem is, in this show nobody gets to finish their food or chai. Even today though Rudra drank tea, he left rotis in the plate he he...
Deletetypos,shwetha,its daal not chai.
DeleteOops:)
Deletedia and others,
ReplyDeleteIS MY POST STILL INVISIBLE TO EVERYONE?DUNNO BUT IS THAT WHY THERE ARE NO REPLIES?
funnily enough, the comment/post is now visible to me and i don't think it has disappeared.dia,if u can see my post[posted above rekha's post] in the blog, pls do reply to it so that i can get to know whether the post is visible/not.
ratna.
It's visible, Ratna, I think following the blog did the trick. Your posts are no longer going into spam.
DeleteThere is a new interview with Sanaya on the Colors website, where she talks about the show, she mentions that the mystery is that no one knows what Paro is thinking, and she's not going to give it away.
ReplyDeleteI'm out the whole day today. Will try to post the link when I get back in the evening. Nice interview.
I am forgetting my manners....have a nice vacation!!
Deletehttp://colors.in.com/in/videos/rangrasiya/the-passion-factor-is-still-to-go-a-notch-higher-sanaya-61235.html
DeleteHope you are having fun Dia:)
Above Sanz interview.
Thanks for the link, Shwetha.
DeleteNice interview. What I like about Sanaya is the fact that she does not pin the blame on the writers and director when things fail or go awry. Have read umpteen interviews where the actors blamed the team for bad writing, concept, what have you. No wonder she is so sought after.
21 May Wednesday.'
ReplyDeleteFaltu Gyaan of today's episode:
In a passionate love story on Indian Telly, when the Leads are not in love,
Their Dimaag, Spine works efficiently and impressively.
When they start falling in love/fall in love, at any given point of time, only one's Dimaag, Spine works randomly and ridiculously.
Episode:
The Kahaani may Kahaani continues as the family watches bewildered and slowly starts understanding the should-be-private-made-public conversation between a husband and a wife.
Rudra - Can't the Queen see, she is letting the Witch control her and them?
Paro- Why can't the King bring back the his heart which is with the Witch?
Rudra - How can the Queen even think for a moment that his heart belongs to the Witch. Didn't the King tell the Queen he has no heart in the first place?
When the Queen can trust the King with her life, her security, why is she refusing to believe the King when he says that the Witch does not matter.
Paro - Silence........As her Dimaag just went to the same place, Rudra's returned from moments ago.
Mohini smartly interrupts their conversation and gives her Dori Gyaan, Chapter 243 on Married Life.
Was Paro being a bit idiotic. True.
Can I blame her, Not entirely.
It has been less than 24 hours.
Rudra is a guy who kept telling her she meant nothing to him.
Now he suddenly turns and tells her 8 years of Laila meant nothing.
Paro is important to him rather whatever they have or don't have is important to him.
He has changed his stance in less than 24 hours?
In her emotional state, how much more confused can Paro get.
Plus they had some nice more dialogues, I will have to actually watch the episode again cos their dialogues kept drowning with the BG music bhaiyaa playing the irritating heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and the entire RR bg music collection when they were talking, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
Rudra finds out from the Puppet guy that it was Laila who gave them money to change the story.
Rudra storms in and tells Paro, that Laila is poison. You might not see it, I do.
Tomorrow morning I am throwing her out, I am not asking you, I am telling you.
Paro looks very upset (as if her BFF is being asked to go away)
Director Bhaiyya, what bakwas direction today yikes!!!
The reason why I made the BFF comment was - Laila emotionally blackmails Paro to accompany her to a walk as otherwise Laila will think Paro is not happy with Laila's presence.
Paro accompanies her.
*head desk*
Then Laila starts her sob story (waisay credit to Ankita, for a second I could not be sure, was she being genuine, till oddly the BG music walay bhaiyya cleared my doubts).
Now this is where it gets ridiculous.
Laila talks about her childhood, stealing Imli with Namak and Paro gets all excited about the unexpected bond formed with her BFF...
*Director ka head desk*
You know I got why Paro was excited about going to the puppet show, made sense, a nice childhood memory...but excited that Laila likes Imli with Namak????
B&B, Expected better from you guys:(
Mohini Laila conversations continue*yawn*
Ofcourse, Mohini overheard Rudra's decision to throw Laila out and informs Laila who is drinking Coke??
Okay seriously, who is financing Laila's wardrobe, her drinks, her accessories?
Does this woman have a credit card that we are not aware of?
Oh almost forgot!
ReplyDeleteDrinking Daal scene.
As predicted:)
*feels smug........Oh please indulge me gals, I am kinda mad at Paro today, let me feel good about something*..
Laila decides to go and fill up Rudra's Daal cup.
She does it and is about to take it to him when Maitli
(*May god bless her with a good night with Samrat* )
takes the cup from Laila and literally forces Paro to go and give it to him.
Okay seriously, Laila thought that she could impress Rudra with Daal?
Dude, talk about standards of being a vamp.
On second thoughts, the target is Paro and it seems to be working so why bother raising the standards.
Can Maitli hit Paro with a Danda please? I miss the sensible Paro.
When Laila was taunting Paro, Paro did not even could say, I did not fill the Daal. You did and Maitli added more. I just brought the cup.
Rudra drinks the whole Daal cup in one go as Gajar and Matar watch proudly.
Paro unfortunately does not seem too impressed or happy about it.
The way Laila was scraping the Daal from that Bartan, I think Paro was getting worried about her share of Daal.
Forced Aman and Sunehri scene.
Bechara Aman.
His senior officer's sister is line maarofying him and he can't do a damn thing about it.
Most important question - What was Sunehri doing, skipping or untangling herself from her earphone....please do let me know.
From my side, Bakwas update I know:(
In all fairness and as I always say, don't go by my update.
It was a good episode. It is just that I am kinda mad at the way they are handling Paro, do watch it and let the discussion begin.:)
We will be crossing 100 comments soon, yipppppppppppppppppeeeeeeee:)
Shwethu I remembered your prediction when Banna drank the daal. Keep your smug up:)
DeleteYou cracked me up, Paro worrying about her share of Daal when Laila pulled the bartan. From where you get such thoughts.
Suneri must be listening to song while skipping,. Don't know from ipod or phone. She must have kept that in her pocket. I'm sure her skirt has a pocket.
Nice take, Shwetha. Not at all bakwas.
DeleteI don't know sure what to make of today's episode. Paro is in a self-destruct mode right now. Ready to believe each and every one except Rudra. Not liking the way Paro's character is being handled. I'm with you Shwetha. Paro needs a taste of her own danda, big time.
I liked the 'story conversation' at the beginning of the episode. For once, Paro needs to trust Rudra on this. Forcing him to confess is not going get anywhere... only going to make the matters worse for them both. As for Rudra, did he really have to say 'Hamare beech kuch ho na ho.....'. Okay, both of them need a danda, big time. Lage haath, one for the writers too.
Never been so confused when watching a show.
Ditto Ritika. Not sure what to make of today's episode. Remember the first precap of the the week... which turned out to be Paro's dream. When we all were under the assumption that it was happening for real, we expected Paro to react. I think most of us have been waiting for Paro to react and surprise (as in shock) Laila for a long time. But right now, I am not too sure about it. I am literally tired of guessing Paro's thought process. When Paro's thoughts were conveyed to the viewers, even the negative tracks (laddoo track) didn't seem too negative. The last 3 episodes have changed the entire mood of the serial. And Laila has manipulated Paro emotionally.
DeleteWhat would you do if you were the Pari.....?
Is Paro really that naive or is she upto something? Nothing from today's episode registered in my mind. Going to get a nice cup of coffee to soothe my confused dimaag.
I'm still wondering if Paro is that naive or is she up to something? She was smart enough to recognise Mohini ... is she dumb enough to fall for Laila's tricks? Or is it the natural vulnerability of a woman deeply in love, who has not received the commitment and reassurance she is looking for ... and is trying her best to find it?
DeleteThe fact that Laila boasted she can outsmart Paro, gives me hope that she will not ... I hope the cvs don't dumb down Paro to make her believe what Laila is saying.
On the other hand, Paro's confusion and doubts are valid in their place. Rudra has never given her any reassurance about her place in his life ... and it must be eating away at her that he could have an eight year loveless relationship with a woman who loves him as much as she, Paro does ... yet he remained unaffected ... he is able to throw out Laila without a second thought. So again ... is it really true that he has no heart ... as he told her after the puppet show? Will he never care for her the way she cares for him, the way she was hoping he would?
Too much Laila again today ... I don't even like Laila-Paro scenes!!!
Loved your take, Dia. Ditto on the thoughts below
DeleteThere is unfinished business between Laila and Rudra ... by throwing Laila out of the house, it will not end. Until and unless Laila is convinced there is no hope for Rudra, she will not exit their lives. And unless Rudra believes he is committed to this marriage and to Paro, and shows Laila so, Laila will not exit.
I doubt Paro is up to something here. She is smart, but I don't think she would be as calculative.
Somehow I get a feeling that Paro would leave with a broken heart... when she does. Not a tyaag, but more along the lines of it was never meant to be.
@all: I hope Paro uses her shaatir dimaag when Laila comes back. She ideally should be more secure vis a vis Rudra now and can give out some sugar coated verbal punches of her own.
Deletehi everyone,
ReplyDeleteagain today's epi was full of laila!and why does paro have to follow laila like an obedient child, falling straight into her emotional blackmail????sorry everyone, but unless there's a twist like sanaya mentioned in her latest interview abt the mystery of paro's thoughts,i find paro DUMB in laila's matter.[i know somewhere the cvs are at fault for this]kaakisa's words in the first part though was meant to be a thaana but felt like a piece of golden advice to her beendni.
i so loved maithili's timely intervention, dilsher's satisfactory smile as rudra drank the whole daal and lastly how rudra shut paro up when he was talking about throwing laila out.that's how he should manage paro baisa at times.
laila is so confident that the 'bechari' paro baisa will stop her exit.i'm so disappointed to think that actually kal ke epi mein kuch aisa hi hoga.
i dunno what's really happening at IF,i visit IF only occasionally but from whatever i hve seen there, can't actually blame them.,most of them are fed up of laila track and are impatient to ponder deeply into paro's complicated yet very unrealistic thinking and just want laila out.see, that's the general feeling too.how long can the audience tolerate such negativity in a show?it is so long since we got a good epi in rr.
and shwetha,IT WAS NOT A BAKWAS UPDATE.for the first time[i think so?],u completely echoed my feelings.there were only head-desks for today's epi.B&B,what are u doing to our once-upon-a-time-smart-and-sensible paro baisa?????do u really think this track would fetch you trps?and yes shwetha,u r right, laila's target is paro and seems to be working too.and in the kitchen, laila was behaving like a typical evil sauten to paro and paro, the bechari,close-to-weeping bahu.waisey,is GH an addict of old kekta serials?and must say maithili's expressions were completely apt and perfect in the situation.kudos to her.if only she could give some gyaan to her stubborn, confused behna!
and abt sanaya's interview, haven't watched it,but only read the title and dia's quick note abt it.seriously,i have lost faith in the word 'passion' ever since ST's tweet and refuse to take any of it unless i watch it on the show.i hope u all will be able to bring out some positive aspects of today's epi.looking forward to ur replies,as that encourage me to do more bak-bak.
ratna.
Ratna, Laila's over confidence is giving me the hope that Paro won't buy her story. I agree the CV's are confusing us with kitchen scene and imli dialogue. But if they route for that then, I will use Paro's danda to correct myself, that after all i'm watchin a daily soap. I don't know how to help you, my mantra is to remember that we are watching a soap for entertainment. I do stalk IF will read good balanced posts and forget or ignore which I don't like.
DeleteLet's enjoy this show still It's on air . See here we have good no of people who do share and enjoy the show with us. Chill yaar:)
Sorry till it's on air.
DeleteRatna, sadly these episodes have been topping the charts in UK... two days in a row. Let's see how the TRPs are shaping up. I just don't want this show to turn into a typical saas-bahu or worse.
DeleteThere is apparently a promo for next monday.... all about Laila and her scheming. We need to bear her nonsense atleast until then.
Coming to IF, all I would say it that the show needs to be viewed as a whole, and not just for one character. Continuously defending the favorite, and putting down the other just leads to unnecessary polarization and friction. One thing is for sure, everybody hates Laila. And wants her out ASAP. Its a different matter that the writers love her.
I am trusting the writers to turn this around with the unexpected... in a good way. So far, they have not really disappointed us.
I agree, Laila's overconfidence is giving me hope ... hope that hope is not misplaced! When Rudra was telling Paro that he was going to throw Laila out the next day, I wanted to ask him, what took you so long? Why did he not override Paro's wishes till now? He had no hesitation throwing Paro out of the house in the middle of the night, why the consideration for Laila?
DeleteAnd is this what Paro was hoping for, waiting for? She basically gave Rudra an excuse to keep Laila in the house, which he took ... does she want to see if he will actually overrule her and throw Laila out?
*****SPOILER ALERT********
DeleteLaila is out!! Thank heavens for small mercies. Not that she would be back again. Would love to see the look on her face when Rudra throws her out.
Now she would be back with Sumer. That would be interesting w.r.t. Mohini. Laila needs to be a part of the story for a complete closure for both Rudra and Laila. Thankfully, it would not be at the cost of butchering Paro's character.
Note: Only read the post title, not sure how it plays out. Generally avoid spoilers as it takes away the charm when the scene is aired, but sure did not mind reading this title.
Ratna: I hated the BFF part, completely put me off.
DeleteThankfully, that can be taken as meant nothing and we can move forward.
Thanks for the update Shwetha. You are doing a brilliant job.
ReplyDeleteI haven't caught the episode yet as it screens quite late here, but I will watch with interest and hopefully come back and comment.
Dia - Happy travels, hope you have a wonderful time.
Take care
Lin
Hi Lin. I agree with you on Shwetha's take. Please do come and share your views too.
DeleteAwwwww, Lin thanks so much:)
DeleteShwetha love your faltu gyaan. Agree with you bg most of the times makes it difficult to hear dialogues. They can play mild instruments instead of heavy dose chorus.
ReplyDeleteFor once I liked Mohini when she stopped the discussion of Raja rani story. But she's clever enough to eavesdrop through window as Rurda has started closing the door. Banna has to close the windows too. Seriously they don't have privacy .
Too much of Laila's plotting and planning today. Trying to manipulate Paro, I feel they want us to think that Paro will fall for Laila's story. But I hope Paro will turn the tables.. Sanaya told in Colors IV that Paro's response is yet to come. Let's see how they are going to play that out. But I too agree Imli dialogue and Paro's enthu was not necessary.
Between Love Maithli. She's playing as cupid not only to Parud, Also to Suneri. Poor Aman loved his expression in Dining table scene.
On the whole too much of Laila and Paro's inaction may give us a mediocre feeling. Let's see what's there for tomorrow. Hope B&B will deliver better.
Yep, the Laila Paro walk in the night was totally unnecessary ... Paro knows exactly what Laila is up to ... she has no reason to be anything but coolly cordial with her ... definitely no enthusiasm about imli! I liked the cool Paro who told Laila she was a guest and didn't need to help in the house ... this sad morose quiet Paro who seems to be falling for Laila's tricks is annoying! I thought she was smarter than that. And Rudra is not giving Paro any reason to believe Laila, he's showing again and again that he's with Paro.
DeleteOf course he tends to ruin it all with his unthinking words ... hamare beech kuch ho na ho ... !!! I don't think Paro even wants a declaration of love from him, all she wants is reassurance that she is his wife, and will remain his wife, regardless of the 8 hate vows ... that he is ready to believe in the marriage and will remain faithful to her till the end.
His last vow was Rudra will never be Paro's ... and Laila is telling her exactly that by her actions. Of course Laila is also trying to tell Paro that Rudra is Laila's ... which Paro doesn't really believe ... but more important for Paro is, will Rudra ever be hers? IF he could not be Laila's in eight years, is she, Paro, a fool for believing he will ever be hers?
I hope the cvs are just trying to make us think that Paro will fall for Laila's story, and there is a twist in the tale. Laila's overconfidence in the precap ... that Paro will stop her from leaving the house ... I want that overconfidence to backfire. BADLY!!!
Dia, Make a full post on today's (thursday's) epi if you get time.
DeleteLooks like both Rudra and Paro's uncharacteristic behaviours are being corrected.
Today Paro was the calm, self assured Paro*thank god*
Sometimes, Not having bank episodes has its advantages, they can change the track immediately, lol.
Hello everyone
ReplyDeleteI know that most of you want to shake Paro until her brain starts kicking into gear but she is in a really difficult position. She feels lost and without direction. Her confidence is being eroded each day with the double sided sword of Laila and Mohini. She wants to believe in Rudra because he is her protector but Laila spins a good story for sympathy and Paro is too good at heart.
She may be soft hearted but she is smart and that will be Laila's downfall. Laila is overconfident and will trip and fall heavily even if Rudra manages to kick her out. The wisest of them all at the moment is Maithi, who does not trust Laila at all.
We will have to wait and see if Laila is out or not.
Take care all
Lin
Hey Lin,
DeleteGood to see your take ... and glad to see you feel the same way. Showing Laila saying those words in the precap made me feel that they will backfire ... I really hope so!!! If Paro stops Rudra from throwing Laila out again ... and if Rudra listens to Paro .... grrr!!!!
Lin, the overconfidence was what gave me hope too. Laila is out but temporarily.
DeleteFrom the promo, she will be back on Monday.
Shwetha - your post was bang on. Thanks for posting. Dia thanks for writing as well. I ffed all the Laila scenes - her smirking is getting on my nerves. She has toned down but she's still getting too much screen space and Paro's demeanor is driving me crazy. I really hope there is a good reason for this. One thing I did notice and liked is that Maithili is getting a spine and is no longer trembling in front of her saas. I liked how she overruled her saas and asked Paro to go give Rudra the daal. The Maithili when the show began would have trembled and dropped the daal. Good for Maithili.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I am actually preferring KCM to Laila :(
Shewtha - I agree with you about the BG music - too loud. I loved the expression on Disher's face when Rudra finished up all his daal - way to go!
I heard that there is a promo for Monday with Laila - which means she's still there until Monday :(
Dia, Lin, Ritika - I really hope you gals are right and Paro does not stop Laila. fingers-crossed.
Still do not like Suneheri/ Aman.
The most unexpected character growth has been that of Maitli and deservignly so.
DeleteThe heyyyyyyyyyyy music was again on today, grrrr....
@ALL: Thanks for liking the bakbak, you gals are too sweet:)
Sorry I meant Paro does not stop Rudra from throwing Laila out.
ReplyDeleteshwetha, bang on post.
ReplyDeletewhat was the director thinking?
i have to say, ankita was far less OTT today. but then paro went OOC. if she is being shatir dimaag and acting like a bechari to undercut laila, it did not translate on screen. looked like a plea to the audience ((please dont hate ankita, sanaya likes her!))
and honestly. dal politics? mm hmm nah. who made the dal who served the dal who put the dal on his plate who ate the dal.. (facepalm) naheeeee get me outta here.
glad to see new faces here and the happy bak bak going on. Have Fun on vacation Dia :)
Jayu: I actually liked Ankita today, she looked really pretty and am kinda excited to see Laila with Sumer.
DeleteLaila might think Sumer will be easy to manipulate. Have a feeling Sumer will not be such a pushover and will constantly be revolving around her, with Mohini's B.P. rising, this should be FUN.
latest trps from tellyexpress.com,dunno its reliable source/not.
ReplyDeleteSHOW TRP[FROM 11-17 MAY ] previous week.
Rangrasiya 2.9 2.7
well,i'm happy that ratings have improved.but,is this bcoz of laila track/audience anticipation of rudra's confession?what do u all think?
@ritika,'when will the passion go a notch higher?'after laila's exit?today's sbb/sbs also showed laila's exit from haveli accomp. by aman.but b4 leaving, she gifted a chunri having parud's names stitched to paro and VO said paro accepted laila as her dost,*head desk*
if this is going to happen, then what was the need for monday's promo with laila?in the seg,ashish/ankita had said that it wont be easy for laila to exit this smoothly.so what will happen?
@shwetha,WHERE ARE YOU?
ratna.
Sorry ratna, AD was very hectic today:( Couldn't tapkofy much at all today.
DeleteI think RR has always had a core loyal audience. With the election over not so much the IPL I think, people are returning back to Telly.
Plus, last week the episodes were good.
They are going to go with a mandatory Parud scene that will help them a lot.
Ofcourse the promos that this show exists have helped a lot.
From the shooting to romance in the promos, people will be atleast curious to check out.
Plus with Ashish in JDJ, he will be announced as the lead of RR everytime before his performance, so people will tune into watch.
I have to note that oddly, Ashish promo was a group one and not an individual one. Surprising, considering he is the Colors representative.
Maybe they will start pushing him more once the show starts.
Waisay have to say, poor ashish seems to have lots of takniki kharabi.
First the back, now the neck.
The shoots plus JDJ practice must be taking its toll.
Hopefully the guy makes it to the top 5.
I so want to see Sanz with him in the Teen ka tadka dance.
Good to see the TRPs have risen slightly ... every little bit helps, and last week was election result week, so the news channels must have got the highest TRPs. If in spite of that, RR TRPs went slightly up, we can hope for better next week, and more after IPL ends.
DeleteShwethu, my reaction was same as yours, Ashish has lots of takniki kharabi .... Kabhi back sprain, kabhi neck sprain ... Hope he lasts out a few weeks in JDJ, and doesn't retire hurt!
DeleteI still do not get why he agreed to a dance show in the first place. Sure, it would get him more recognition... but at the cost of his health?
DeleteRatna, I for one never take ST's word for it. The '4 weeks of passion' seems just a 'pacifier' of sorts. About taking the passion a notch higher, I doubt it would be anytime soon. Its more a time for awkward moments now. Passions will be ignited when Paro leaves Rudra, and he works towards bringing her back.
22 MAY THURSDAY
ReplyDeleteLaila proposes, Mohini aids, Paro Rudra Dispose...:)
##Breaking news Moment##
Mohini informs Laila, Rudra's plan of throwing her out.
Laila is over confident about Paro and figures out a way to extend her stay.
##I do the hard work, You take the credit Moment.##
Laila outsources embroidery work to Mohini who actually obliges her
*rolls eyes*
##New Pillow Shopping moment.##
So what if the production team does not have the budget for
involving the whole cast in a crucial scene like today,
it compensated by buying new pillows for Paro & Rudra.
Hoping a cute scene between the two will make us ignore the fact that
half of the cast was missing.
Nice try....Almost worked.
##Can you give me spoiler moment##
Paro asks Rudra did he find out from the puppet people the ending
of the story...whom does the King choose finally?
Rudra keeps quiet and says something.
*This I will talk about it in the next comment, warning that am gonna be
mean about this*
##Dupatta Diplomacy moment##
Laila gifts Paro the dupatta with Paro-Rudra embroided on it.
Hoping (as per Laila) foolish Paro will soften more and will not allow Rudra to throw her out.
*Nice Plan have to give it that*
##Dil may Laddo phoota moment##
Notice how the Doctor was blushing and all excited at the prospect of giving a check up to Laila.
Okay that was really creepy, I tell you, ewwww..
##Fitness certificate moment##
The doctor certifies, Laila is hit hai, fit hai.
She can manage on her own.
##I am an expert at outsourcing moment##
Rudra did what he does, exceptionally best.
Outsources Laila's safety to Aman.
##Laila kay Side effects moment##
The dumbness rubs off on Mohini.
She tries her best to stop Laila getting thrown out.
She tries to argue, She is not well. She needs time to recover.
Rudra counters;
Let us go by Doctor's word on this, shall we?
She tries again.
You brought Paro to stay to protect her from Tejavat.
Why are you not doing the same to Laila.
Rudra counters again;
I remember how much inconvenience that caused you.
How can I think of putting you through it again*sarcasm*
Besides, Why are you sympathetic towards Laila all of a sudden?
Mohini shuts up.
##I hate saying goodbyes moment##
Laila realizes she has no other option but to go, makes one last
attempt with Paro trying to emotionally blackmail her saying,
I better go. No one cares about me anyway.
##Slow and Steady, gets you kicked out...guaranteed moment.##
The slow walk towards her room, hoping that Paro comes through.
##Babaji ka Thullu Moment at its best!!!!##
Paro does come through....for Rudra and for their marriage.
She calls out to Laila.
Rudra looks desperately, hoping Paro does not overrule him once again.
She assures Laila;

ratna.
Simply fabulous, Shwetha. Loved your take.... had me laughing all through.
DeleteLaila's out, Finally!! I am really glad they did not prolong the track with Paro making her stay back. Laila huffed and she puffed... loved to see her plan backfire. Paro was back to her original self, processing and mindful of the actions and reactions.
I am not sure where they would go from here. Going by the promo, Laila would be back on monday. So will Paro-Rudra go back to the "comfortable place" where Paro would no longer question her place in his life. Sure, we would get some cute moments... but this is a nagging thought in my mind.
Waaawwww...... Loved your post Shweths. :D You just don't spare anyone do you? :) :)
DeleteLiked today's episode, inspite of the presence of HAILA throughout the episode. After today's episode, understood a lot of things about the character of Rudra. The character is very well conceptualized, but not executed well at times. Alright, the guy always puts himself in front of Paro, in the event of any danger. He is extremely possessive about her. He is upset when she is upset. But he is refusing to commit to her, despite caring a great deal for her. I think the character has to go a very long way to realize his love for Paro. Hope the CVs handle it well and don't buckle under TRP pressure. He has just started thawing towards Paro. It would be interesting to watch how Rudra breaks free of his inner demons and accepts Paro as his better half. And the only way I can see this happening is the separation track, unless the creatives have something else planned.
And loved Paro today. :) Atleast Rudra and Paro were communicating today. Paro is back to being her normal self. She didn't really wanted to defy her hubby, did she? I don't know if my understanding of Paro is right. But I somehow feel that she feels sorry for Laila for what she has been through. Being a compassionate person, she couldn't help feel sorry for Laila. May be that's why, she bought Laila's lies and accepted to take an evening walk with her. Waiting to see the look on Paro baisa's face, when she comes to know about the true colour of Laila (remembering the danda moment of Paro with Tejawat).
Overall, a good episode. Hopefully tomorrow's episode should be light and full of fun.
@All: Thank you for liking the bakbak.
DeleteI think we are in for a good episode today..halka phulka...where hopefully everyone gets to eat their phulka.
Empty stomach may people get cranky.
Take Rudra for instance, the guy eats only 4 rotis...No wonder he is cranky all the time.
Ratna: The moment they showed Laila, I was remembering you. I was atleast hoping they would show her from Monday onwards, but nope, she tapkofied today itself.
DeleteThank you Shwetha. What a fab post! Has me ROFL. Thanks for making me laugh - needed it especially today.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Dia, Lin, Ritika were right about Paro not stopping Rudra. Can wait to go home and watch this episode.
Be back later.
Archana do watch it, it was a good episode. The overconfidence that Laila had in Paro was what gave a hope that Paro is going to throw a fab googly.
DeleteShe did, didn't she?
Shwethu, FAB take ... I laughed my way through the entire thing! Just downloaded the episode, will watch in a while and come back with my take.
Delete## Let me be a bit mean today moment##
ReplyDeleteParo asks Rudra, did you find out about whom the King chose?
Rudra thinks for a long time and tells himself:
He HAS BEEN trying to find out the answer for the same.
***This is where my dhinka chika, am gonna be mean moment is going to come**
Not here, lot of paro bashers went hoo haa about how Paro is not able see his actions, his words..yada yada.a..
Now what happened?
The guy himself is not sure what to do.
So what will Paro think.
No wonder she is all confused with the confuseing vibes she has been getting from him.
Granted, The dialogue was misplaced.
If you are going to give Rudra that benefit of doubt that the writers goofed up, shouldn't the same be extended to Paro when for the past couple of episodes Paro has not been herself.
Yesterday what annoyed me the most was not that she had trouble reading Rudra. I totally got that one.
What annoyed me was the whole BFF part, letting Laila emotionally blackmail her part.
Thankfully when she looked at the dupatta, she was not excited about getting a gift...rather the way the girl believes in signs - Parvati Rudra and Laila did not help her own cause by saying Paro-Rudra belong together.
So after 24 hours when she added up, she realized Rudra got the puppet show for her, the pillow etc...and him taking a firm decision that Laila will be asked to leave, gave her the much needed assurance.
Anyway, apologies didn't mean to bring negativity here, but had to vent out:(
Thanks Shwetha.........love your updates!
DeleteShwetha lovely Take.Made me laugh. You have excellent creativity:)
DeleteEpisode was good. It's always a pleasure to watch when antagonist plan backfires. Glad Paro didn't stop her. But as you said she has processed all the vents after revelation and must be convinced by his decision. She's a compassionate soul, definitely not dumb. The main problem with CV's is that they don't let us know Paro, her inner thoughts, how she process. Maithili Paro scenes must come often to know Paro better.
Sula track is going to come it seems. I'm exited to watch Mohini's reaction.
Typos, events..
DeleteWith you on this, Shwetha, If Rudra is still confused about his feelings, heaven help him.
DeleteCan we really blame Paro for the mixed signals? The man is yet to accept it to himself that he loves Paro, or atleast the relationship means more than just a protector-witness. People went postal as to why Paro could not sense his love. Hell, the man himself does not believe he is in love. How is she supposed to pick up the signals?
@Lakshmi, I agree with you. We never had an insight to Paro's thoughts. It is high time they started investing some screen time for that.
I think the only way we can get them is when she talks to Maitli, hopefully they will do that more.
DeleteShweths...Keep those moments coming....U r on a roll...
ReplyDeleteOn ur dinka chika moment...here's a perspective...
There is no heart to give and take….for Rudra, not yet
A lot of the posts have been about Paro and a few about Rudra . I thot to write about Rudra, whom I see a lot clearly now. I had a lot of peeves when the character was introduced but I feel the graph has taken some shape now.
Paro may want assurance from Rudra but quite frankly he has none to give her ; atleast not in the way she desires becos he does not feel that all-encompassing emotion.
I agree with one of Jaya’s earlier posts. He is not in love, atleast not yet. In many ways he is a man who seems to speak what he means. He is rarely contrary in his actions
Yes, he has shown through a lot of his actions that he has begun to care for her( also admitted to it in as many words!!). Even if perplexed by the intensity of her belief in him, he has begun to accept her trust in him. As he is a case of once bitten twice shy ( I don’t mean Laila here!!), he is not ready to assuage Paro's fears beyond the “I don’t know why but u matter”. He says that his past is not relevant, but knows when the past is meddling with his present. He is almost imploring Paro to let bygones be bygones becos perhaps he is not yet ready to confront his past.
If I were to verbalise Rudra’s perspective….”I have never promised you anything beyond what I have spelled out for you. You chose to walk with me on this path. I don’t know why but your happiness now matters to me; I will walk the extra mile to ensure that u are happy. However, I am not ready to go places that I have left long behind. So stop asking anything more of me”
However, as humans we lay a lot of emphasis on the spoken word...actions don't always speak louder than words for us in such emotional situations! We love the comfort of words, esp the words we wish to hear for the solace they give. Paro is in such a phase.
Its not about owing explanations, its about the need to accept the rite of passage. Of confronting your real fears for closure. Paro needs to confront her real fears (does his past have the ability to intrude into their shared present?) Rudra needs to come to terms with his mother's betrayal to be able to put it behind him (Will he accept that loving someone need not cause that person to go away?) These may be some of their fears...
On characterisation bashing…all I have to say is I just wish the CVs looked at the moment and give a human touch to the responses…Don’t belittle the moment. If u have taken the courage to build a story about a man with a chequered past (for want of a better word), don’t run away from the questions u may have raised. Don't cloak it in the garb of puppet dances and tell me whys?
Today after a long time, a part from a song struck me in relation to RR
Shareek-Ye-Zindagi Ko Kyon
Shareek-Ye-Gam Naheen Karate
Dukhon Ko Baatkar Kyon
In Dukhon Ko Kam Naheen Karate
Tadap Is Dil Kee Thodee See
Mujhe Mere Sanam De Do
Amazing analysis Rekha. I am wondering if the CVs think so much while writing a character, the way we do. Like you said, I hope the CVs don't make a cartoon out of these characters.
DeleteRekha wonderful take on Rudra and Paro's state of mind.
Delete@ Madhu I liked your views regarding Rudra. As Dia has pointed in one of her posts, Rurda is written well or rather given enough space in the story to understand him better. Hope CV's can give what they envisioned.
Thks..folks..rambling is in my blood..
DeleteHowever as Madhu-mitha put it, i wonder if CVs bother the way we do...LOL
Dia,
I just read ur post for Thurs...
"On reflection, Rudra was rather ungracious to Laila ... his confidante and lover of eight years"
Absolutely right...What to make of Rudra in this...His writing off the eight years "kuch bhi nahi hain, Paro kabhi bhi nahin tha" (or something like that) makes u wonder. They belittled the moment giving out the ungracious nature of the protagonist in their love story. It was up their alley to make it a defining moment.. Rudra could have said honest words of how Laila had been there for him for his darkest hours, of how he did not have anything to offer to her in return, in fact he does not have anything to offer anyone...The CVs could have taken it up from there....
The Cvs first gave the character Rudra a dimension through Laila and then chickened out by making it about Rudra and Paro only.
Which is why i feel the writers don't think beyond an event. While writing a character, the events are conceived first and the traits of a character is an afterthought. They don't bother much with how would the character react in that scenario. Agreed, Rudra does not think much of his past but why should it seem as if in those eight years, there was only Laila in the equation....
Great analysis, Rekha.
DeleteI agree with you about the CVs chickening out of the Laila equation... all thanks to the backlash they received in the earlier episodes. Be it the TRPs or the online responses. The very fact that they moved from painting Laila as a hooker instead of a informer cum companion was all for making it palatable to TRP viewers.
@Dia. I agree. The verbal lashing that Laila received at the end from Rudra was ungracious. He too had used her for his physical gratification, no string attached. And now expects her to just disappear, no questions asked.
Paro's fears are well founded. Rudra never promised her love.... he never promised Laila love either. If he could walk away from a 8 year long relationship with sexual privileges, what would stop him from dumping Paro and moving on. We as viewers are privy to his thoughts. Paro isn't.
Rekhs: Tussi Chaa gaye. Agree with you, when you are racing against deadlines, not much depth goes into writing.
DeleteThough initially they do have the luxury of time and hence characters are layered out and their complexities brought out beautifully.
Waisay, my rant was for thos anti-paro bashers who simply refuse to give Paro a chance or even try to understand her.
Waisay, I think I need to vent more, tabhi tum tapakti ho, kyun bhai, jk...
DeleteThis.....Ignoring the last few episodes, where everything went for a bit of toss....This is Rudra-Paro...not Om-Parvati.........Who will always be right.
This is their journey and like it usually happens in relationships, it will take time to understand each other and kinda balance each other out.
Hopefully with lots of scenes where we actually hear their thoughts, this will be more interesting.
Yes Shweths vent away...tere liye hi tapakti hun..btw MOSULA namkaran was epic!!
DeleteMeray liye tapak na...meray venting kay liye Nahin.
DeleteBuddu...tere liye hi tapakthi hun..
DeleteU do what u wish..I am upon my "Ja Shwetha ja jee le apni zindagi" moment
Well Shweths, to be honest, my words about rite of passage was not an immediate expectation...It was more about the potential of the track, if they wish to explore.
The current track had to achieve a few things in my view
1) Paro to become aware of the nature of Rudra Laila relationship
2) Rudra to allow Paro into his emotional space, thereby accepting in some ways her significance in his life
3) the bone of contention to move out giving Rudra the feeling that some of the demons of the past have been slayed and Paro, a short lived euphoric feeling of her secured space in his life
4) the stage set for some shortlived show of passion
This will be basis of the next track...Shweths, u would be better at describing this...but we will be shortly at the expected "love you and leave you moment" from Paro
Awwwwww rekhs, hugs bey:)
DeleteNicely put Rekha. My iPad is not co-operating today, so I will have to post later. Phew- got one line in at least!
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of disagreeing with the wave of sudden sympathy for Laila I wish to say that nowhere have the creatives said clearly that the relationship between R and L was monogamous..May be L was there to provide physical comfort to not only R but also other BSD officers who are away from home ..sorry girls if you are offended but I wanted to say my two cents worth.
ReplyDeleteNo offence taken at all, Meera ... feel free to express your views!
DeleteAre you new here? Welcome to the blog ... or as we like to call it, the bak bak corner!
Coming to Laila, I think she did say in one of the earlier episodes that she had been faithful to Rudra, and hadn't allowed any other man to get close after she met Rudra.
DeleteHey meera. I don't think there is a sudden sympathy for Laila here.
DeleteIt would have been great story telling if Laila could have managed to create some sympathy for Laila with the actor doing her part.
She did invest 8 years of her life in him hoping that it would continue for ever. Ofcourse she was an adult and knew perfectly well what she was getting into and the terms of being a FWB.
As for providing physical comfort, I doubt that would be one of the perks of being a BSD officer....and as for other officers, well we know that didn't happen cos Rudra had monopoly over her.
Please do join in the discussion in future too:)
No offence taken Me era.......Laila did say that she never "allowed another man's shadow to fall on her", i.e. she was faithful to him.
Deletehowever, it seems the Creatives heard you out.....news out that Laila will be returning as Sumer's bride...........ROFL......this is going to be fun...........KakicumMami sa ka mausam bahut burey tarah se bigadne wala hai.............as you sow, so you shall reap! At least now, they will have a number of parallel tracks to run.....
forgot to add, the writer plus director plus the actor.
DeleteiPad is not allowing me to edit, so my replies are coming piecemeal. But regardless of whether she was faithful to Rudra or not, their relationship was a long one, eight years is a long time. And the problem was more with him than with her ... he used her to exorcise his demons, silence the voices in his head, she agreed to his terms, but whether willingly or whether because she thought that was all he had to offer and she was ready to take the crumbs, is the question. Either way, Rudra did get something out of the relationship, even if it was only physical gratification ... So belittling that and her love, was not very gracious of him. Like Rekha said, he could have said it was his fault, he had no more to offer her, he did not even think he had more to offer any other girl ... And he could have added that he would have thought better of her if she had accepted the truth, rather than blame Paro ... Or something like that. Anyway, the cvs probably took the easy way out, they did not want any sympathy for Laila in a PaRud story.
DeleteAnd they had to maintain Rudra as hero! So making out that he just used her and discarded her, would not have gone down too well ... easier to make her the vamp.
DeleteSumer - Laila - Mohini - MOSULA
ReplyDeleteDon't get grossed out, let me explain.
Sumer is going to be smitten with Laila not letting her out of her sight.
Laila will try everything to get away from Sumer.
Mohini will be watching her like a hawk to ensure Laila gets away from Sumer.
Mohini will be totally focused on Laila, she will not have time for Paro or Rudra.
Laila will be caught between not offending Sumer too much and outwitting Mohini to ensure She stays put.
Basically MOSULA will be too caught up with each other to have any time for Paro-Rudra.
Isn't this Fantastic???
MOSULA ... love this name!
DeleteI don't think Sumer will marry Laila, they might do a drama of being married to let Laila enter the haveli. Laila will tell Sumer it's to throw PaRud out, while doing the drama with Sumer gives her the chance to get back at Mohini. Vaise, I didn't understand, get back at Mohini for what? For her plan misfiring, and Paro siding with Rudra to throw her out? Or that Mohini didn't raise her voice to stop her? Not that anything Mohini said would have made a difference to Rudra.
LOL Shwetha. Trust you to put a spin on this.
ReplyDeleteThe new track is going to be interesting to watch. Plans are going to backfire, dime a dozen. Add to that a squirming Mohini. Priceless!

Yup the Cupid Rat is back.
Of-course trained BSD Officer Rudra & Scared of it all her life Paro
assume Tejavat has done some plastic surgery kekta style, consequently height, weight etc has changed and he has been waiting in their bedroom to pounce on them.
Yeah right!!
#Variety is the Spice of Life Moment.
Ever wondered, why the Cupid rat makes its presence known randomly and never daily?
You see the Cupid rat believes in giving space, time to people in relationships.
But it also likes variety.
You know how it is, even though we can wear only wear one dress at a time, we love having the luxury of choosing from our collection?
Cupid Rat is bored of looking at the same wardrobe of Paro & Rudra.
It would like variety.
So it is hoping Paro & Rudra expand their family,
so it has the option of biting clothes of different shapes and sizes.
It is going to be a loooooooooong wait for Cupid Rat*sigh*
##Upgrade Download Moment##
Paro gets upper berth aka bed.
Rudra gets the lower berth aka the mat.
Did I mention, it is going to be a loooooooooooong wait for the Cupid Rat.
##It's only words,
Words are all I have,
To take your heart away
& You don't over rule my decision.
Rudra - How come you didn't object/overrule my decision of throwing Laila out?
Paro - I was only waiting for her to get well. The doctor gave her a fitness certificate...So it was a no brainer.
Words......Rudra....Ofcourse in this case Doctor's.
Koi baat nahin, kaam toh ho gaya na.
##TRP Increase kay side effects Moment##
They get new pillows.
Sunehri gets to speak....a lot.
Sumer comes back.
Outdoor shoot.
Rudra's wardrobe got upgraded.
##May you never get cured of this disease - Loveria Aashirwaad moment##
Aww, Paro & Dilsher are gobsmacked when Rudra decides to take the day off to take Paro to the doctor.
Dilsher blesses Rudra, whatever is wrong with him today, let it be so forever.
Awwwwwwwwwww...
## One fine Day-Off moment##
Rudra - Aye....Kya bolti tu?
Paro - Aye...Kya main boloon?
Rudra - Aati ka khandala....er Khaana Khaanay?
Paro - Er....Food is already prepared, I have to help Maitli....
Rudra - WT*
Yup, Our sentiments...exactly.
## Pursuing - Dating & Relationship Expert Degree in college moment##
Sunehri to Paro - Oh, he wanted to take you out. He is beginning to like you.'
Paro to Sunehri - OOOOOOOooooooooooo....So that is what he wanted to do.
##Ek Kaan kay Jhumkay ki keemat tum kya jaano, Biwi Paro##

Especially more so, if I didn't have to pay for it and got it Free.
## Network is weak, Can't understand you moment##
Rudra - Do you need any help?
Paro - No, I am fine.
Paro - Do you need anything?
Rudra - No, I am fine.
In case I forgot to mention, Cupid Rat....yada yada.....
Precap - Isn't it wonderful when you know B&B have seen Swades?
Love that movie:)
Bechara Aman.
ReplyDeleteCaught between Laila and Sunehri....Not exactly..but you get the gist.
He drops off Laila and tells her (too) politely, please don't run off, stay in this room.
I will stay at night here, in the morning we have 1 jawaan for your security.
Ofcourse, we will ensure you get all possible ways to escape by not guarding you from all sides.
And our windows do not have Grills.
So if Paro could jump through a Window for Rudra,
So should Laila right?
Laila jumps the window and goes to meet Sumer.
Ofcourse no body in the BSD compound recognizes or tries to stop her.
Sumer & Laila scene....These two are good together especially Sumer.
So Laila Baisa will return with Sumer.
Wonder how Aman will explain to Rudra, how did Laila meet Sumer while in protective custody?
A shoutout to the promo people - They definitely seem to have improved...All the promos have Paro-Rudra coming closer to each other scenes while a small scene is included for the future track, in this case Laila.
Looks like a conscious effort is being made in the promo that see, it is no longer a dark story but a love story.
Good job there.
Just realized we crossed 150.
ReplyDeleteDia looks like you might have to make next week's post sooner as the comment restrictions will apply for 200:)
Am so glad R&R is buzzing again*group hug everyone*
Hi Dia & Company!!,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog since you have been writing updates and your views on IPKKND.
Love your work here. Never gathered enough courage to write because everybody who writes here seems to be immensely talented, (especially Shwetha, I look forward to read the funny version of the updates everyday )
I love reading them all, keep up your good work.
Regards.
Hi & welcome. Thank you for liking my bak bak. Please do join the fun:)
DeleteHi Morning Breeze, welcome to the blog ... We are really not scary at all, so do join in! :)))
DeleteI am all signed up!!!
DeleteHi Morning Breeze, welcome to the blog :)
DeleteShwetha - you have a fan following now! Nice update.
ReplyDeleteAiyooo, you are scaring me now, lol.
DeleteBtw, why has the blog become so shaant today again??
Dia:
So what did the Laila episode achieve?
Both Rudra and Paro got reality checks.
Rudra got a jhatka that Paro is not as secure as she appears about the marriage and her place as his wife ... she might even be insecure enough to leave if not reassured of her place in his life. When Paro is reassured that he means what he says (which often he does not!) ... like taking care of Laila's safety and health, yet still wanting her out ... Paro is ready to trust his words.
See this is why I love you so much:)
Ditto Shwetha. Love reading your takes, Dia.
DeleteI was a bit apprehensive about them going back to the 'comfortable place' post Laila's exit. But the episode played out well. Although the Jaipur track was fabulous stand-alone, it looked as an add-on for levity. On the other hand, today's episode flowed better.
One of them had to take a step back, and it was Paro. Pushing Rudra into a confession now would not have worked, since he is confused about his feelings right now. He did what he did best on his part, showed concern and actually took an off from work to be with his wife. That is huge coming from a man like him.
The whole mouse scene was a bit contrived, but chalta hai .
Coming to the Laila re-entry, I doubt it would have as much of an impact as earlier. Paro is more sure of her relationship with Rudra's now... or so it seems. Mohini would not be around to add more fuel to the fire. She sure would have her hands full.
Ritika and Shwetha can't agree more than what you said about Dia's takes, always on point. Love reading your takes Dia.Glad that the blog is active and some new comments to read everytime I refresh.
DeleteNothing much to add about episode. You all have summarized it. I don't think Laila will marry Sumer, may be some arrangement or deal between them just to get into haveli. I'm eager to watch Mohini's reaction.
@Shwetha MOSULA!!! Hats off yaar!!! what a namkaran !!!
Aww, thanks, girls *blushing*
DeleteWhy is the blog so quiet on the weekend?
Anyone read about the new Colors promo for all their shows in. June? The scene where Rudra sees his mom's photo in the Thakur's haveli, and realises she is Tejawat's wife ... And Paro saying she will make sure that Rudra and his mother meet again.
Ashish's expressions in that scene were so bad ... looking at the scene again in isolation made me laugh at his face!
Also new TB article ... Rain romance in Rangrasiya :)
The blog is slow again :( Where is everyone?
DeleteDid read that, Dia. Just hope Laila is out of the picture before the Mala track begins. It would end up being a hodge podge again.
Ashish does tend to go OTT at times. The last breakdown scene was totally overdone. Let alone empathy, it actually had me squirming.
dia,
ReplyDeleteFINALLY you broke the SILENCIO charm which was cast on the blog over the weekend!
i was too apprehensive to post since i found the blog too shaant and thought everybody would be busy. yes,i saw the june promo and the new TB article also.if at all there is such a sequence, hope they air it soon ,that is,before that laila comes back into haveli.
coming to the promo, the VO said something like a house will become a home and then showing mala's pic and paro's words abt re-uniting rudra-mala.so what does that mean?
will mala re-enter the haveli?
will tejawat be arrested by BSD during this track?bcoz he once said that he will never allow rudra-mala to meet.so if mala is found by rudra, that must mean either tejawat fleed leaving behind thakurain? or he was captured?
if mala track is next, then will they wind up sula track and say bye-bye to laila for a while?i don't want to see laila as a permanent member of the haveli.can somewhat tolerate her scenes independently .also mala tack is a major one,so ankita's screentime must be reduced, right?
waisey,i'm happy that sadiya is being brought back, hope thakurain maasa convinces paro not to leave rudra due to her waada.also i don't want to see rift b/w dilsher paro/rudra-paro due to this track.
if at all mala comes back to haveli[as per VO],i dont want laila to influence the naive mala with her bechari act.from whatever i've seen of mala, she is more naive than paro baisa and much more influenced by sweet words.[dunno whether there are unseen layers to her character too!]so again i dont want laila as a permanent member of the haveli, bas.
dia and others, waiting to see ur views on this track and reading ur replies.join in the discussions everyone.its a long time since a post crossed 200+ comments.
ratna.
Ratna,
DeleteAs I said above, don't want the Mala and Laila track to run side-by-side. It would end up all hodge podge. Plus Laila would have another weakness to use against the couple. Ermm... okay, it might be perfect for TRPs. Let's see how they play it out.
Had read Sadiya's interview long back about Rudra 'kidnapping and torturing' her in a 'gaushala'. Seriously hope the writers have shelved this track. The very idea gives me the heebie jeebies. Rudra's character has toned down a bit too, but this is something that can tilt him over to the other side.
About her entering the haveli, there is bound to be friction. Both Paro-Rudra and Paro-Dilsher. But somehow I feel Dilsher would be the one to accept Mala before Rudra does.
I agree, I don't want the Laila track and Mala track to be on at the same time, it will be too much of a hotch potch. I wonder if the June promo is just an indicator that this will be Paro's main goal once she and Rudra are in love ... so this is some time in the future, not right now. In the new SBS apparently Laila is still hanging around watching them, so she isn't going anywhere soon, especially since TRPs have gone up with her track.
DeleteAgree, Dilsher will be quicker to accept Mala than Rudra ... Dilsher is older, and has probably had more time to reflect on their issues, he did tell Paro that 'they could not handle their relationship' ... not that he or she could not handle it. So he has accepted that there was fault on both sides. And Danveer is sympathetic to Mala, so obviously there is some story there ... hopefully!
Hi Ladies,
DeleteWhoa! looks like we have a plethora of spoilers this weekend. In addition to saree folding, slipping and falling, MIL finding, gola- eating we also have a combined episode on the 31st with Beinteha. With a fire/ blast something.
With Laila very much in it. Let's see where all this takes us.
I am tired of Laila getting so much screen space.
Agree - hope they wrap up Su-La before Ma-la returns.
