9/5 - Epi 95 ... Mixed Bag

Friday 9th May

Bit of a khichdi of an episode ... looks like the makers are not sure how to take this track.

Laila singing aarti was an overkill for Rudra ... he did sound as though his brains were very firmly in working order. Pity he wasn't the one to notice that piece of paper ... I hoped he or Paro would notice it.

Laila is another one whose brains are in working order ... she warns Mohini NOT to be so nice to her.
Did Rudra really not smell a rat with Mohini's warm welcome for his guest? Or does he think Mohini is trying to be nice after the laddoo mess, in the hope of getting Sumer back? If so, it would be nice if the cvs put in some dialogues to that effect ... it seems very unlikely that Rudra would not smell a rat. Or Paro, for that matter ... she trusts Mohini even less than Rudra does. However Paro seemed to be fully buying Laila's change of heart ... her smile during the aarti showed what she was thinking ... 'see, Rudra, I told you Laila can be trusted ... she's even started praying to Bholenath!'

Maithili is adorable ... her one line in the episode was worth its weight in gold ... Laila, you'd better take your stuff and shift to another room, you can't stay in Paro Rudra's room.
Bas!!!

And Mohini realises she might just have bitten off more than she can chew ... so she determines to keep Laila under her thumb by keeping her position suspect ... hence the discovery of the paper.

The best scene as usual was the PaRud scene ... Laila plays unwitting Cupid by tearing off Rudra's button, thinking she will stitch it back on ... Paro is back in time to do the needful ... and for Laila to overhear some very normal husband-wife conversations between Rudra-Paro ... including Paro scolding Rudra, telling him to look up ... and Rudra meekly obeying ... burn, Laila, burn!

Though I do wonder what Laila  hoped to accomplish by telling Rudra that he is changing from a lion into a lamb. Did she think Rudra will back away from Paro the same way as he backed off from Laila fiercely every time she tried to stake a claim on him? Because that's what she has seen every time ... he said he belongs to no one ... Laila believed him. He resisted every time she tried to get close or be soft or tried to look after him ... he spurned her every advance. He didn't need anyone, he belonged to no one.

This time Laila will see that's not true any more ... Rudra belongs to someone now. To Paro.

And how and where and why does that dance come in? Waiting for Monday!

  1. Lovely take Dia

The episode was kind of okay... but a few things stood out.

Laila is burning like hell. Abhi to shuruat hai. She is going to try kaam daam dand bhed to get back Rudra.... attacking his ego now. He did seem effected by her words. But I doubt he is going to go back to jallad mode. Will wait to see his retort on this. Or maybe Paro would give it back in her subtle way.

Good to see KCM squirming. Poor lady has bitten off more than she can chew.

The Paro-Rudra scenes were adorable. The button sewing, and him meekly looking up. Aww. Still a bit of awkwardness there. Also liked the small scene at the dining table, where she turned the direction of the spoon. And of course, the quick way to pop the prasad in his mouth. Loved Sanaya's expressions. Her smile lights up her face.

What did not work was Laila's OTT behavior, or maybe it was Ankita. She is not a bad actress, have watched her in other shows. But here, she comes across as trying a bit too hard.

    1. Ritika. You know in some weird ways. Laila works.

All her plan is going to flop and will give us some nice Parud moments.
      Looking forward to that.

With you, dunno what is not working - Ankita or Laila?

    3. Am retrieving comments ... nothing in Spam ... post again!

Have to add both those in the main post ... Paro popping the prasad into Rudra's mouth, and turning the spoon so that he could eat easily with his left hand. Those were small blink and you miss them scenes ... but so sweet!

    4. And agree with both of you ... Laila and Ankita both are not working for me. Ankita tries too hard as vamp ... she tosses her head, makes faces with her lips, wiggles her eyebrows ... and has no expression in her eyes. And working with Ananya Khare ... and with Sanaya and Ashish ... who are all FAR superior actors, and who have completely settled into their roles now ... she comes across as very flat and artificial.

    5. I actually laughed out loud in her last scene with Mohini... when she was phoolao-ing her mouth. The way kids do. Agree about her coming across artificial against Ananya. Ananya enacts evil effortlessly, with Ankita it seems put on.

  2. To the B&B (Bhaiyya & Behna) who wrote the Parud scene -
Thank you. That was good enough to forget the bakwas Laila scenes today.

Mohini hands over the lyrics of Aarti to Laila.
Later Mohini shows off that paper to everyone.

Nobody, I mean Nobody realized this was Mohini's Handwriting?
    I mean Really?

Rudra didn't bother ask considering he is trained for such things,
Laila you came empty handed yesterday, where did you get the change of clothes?

    Mohini-Sumer convo-
Keep quiet, I will call you back in 2 weeks, call me again, I will stop your money flow.

Ulta Decoded - PH & Writers to the actor playing Sumer

    WAITTTT!!!
You will come back to the show.
    Stop calling.
If you do, we will write you out of the show.

Mohini & Laila scenes are like watching a Graduate and a First grader competing for the same prize.

They are seriously mismatched in everything.

Laila loves Rudra, atleast she thinks she does.
She goes on about his past - what a beast he was.

(Yeah right!Go ahead and remind him what a jerk he was when he was with Laila.).

She goes on about how goody goody Mamuli/Ordinary he has become.

(Yeah Right!Go ahead tell him, what a great guy he has become thanks to Paro)

You love Paro. You are in love.

    (Lady Laila!
Make up your mind, you are doing this so Rudra comes back to you or Stays with Paro?)

Seriously, writers give us an intelligent vamp will ya?

Let us come back to Samart.
It is official. Congratulations to those who care.
    Samrat is the new Akash.

Instead of Mohini & Laila pretending that they are traveling in jam packed Metro jostling for space,

Can't they give ONE scene to Samrat and Maitli where Samrat apologizes to Maitli for being such a jerk to him and can't wonder about his brother Sumer?

We have the dance on 12th.

    Why????????

    Faltu Gyaan from today's episode:

TV shows characters have excellent dental health.

In TV shows, while stitching buttons, you have to cut the thread with your teeth.
    No.
You can't use a scissor or simply yank it off like us lesser unromantic mortals.
    Nope.
    That would be sacrilege.
    Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

    2. Shwethu ... LOVE your ulta decode! :)))

Sumer had better come back ... he is the best light relief in the show, much better than Sunehri. His tu tu main main with his mom is great fun!

I wanted that scene between Samrat and Maithili, yaar ... the guy found his voice only to shout at Maithili for accusing his mom ... and then went chup again when Maithili was proved right. You have decent supporting actors, GIVE THEM SPACE!!! I love the Paro-Maithili scenes too ... let Paro and Maithili discuss what is this new bala called Laila ... Maithili should be more cautious, while Paro can be all-forgiving types. Maithili can be the wiser one here.

I think Laila thought she was being clever by putting those thoughts into Rudra's head about his becoming domesticated and losing his lion's roar. Usko kya pata lion is very happy to become a tame kitten ... Actually Paro is right now bringing up Rudra to be a man, he was a spoiled, lost brat till now. Abhi usko aadmi bana rahi hai!
But have to see what effect that talk of Laila's has on Rudra ... will he feel he is softening too much towards Paro? Or will Laila just be another voice in the chorus telling him, you're in love with Paro ... which is a situation he seems perfectly happy with, as of now!

      Delete
    3. Shweta, loved your bak bak, and the ulta decode :)

I have given up hope on the Maithili-Samrat scene. Does look like we are not going to get that one. About Samrat's character, wonder why the actor signed-up up for the role. A spineless man, who is just there in a scene for the sake of being there. Sumer is a better characterization. He may be a bumbling idiot for now, but there is scope.

  3. Dia: On Maitli, excellent catch!!!

I am hoping Maitli will be the one to give a Menthos to Paro on Laila

Agree with you, the makers are working out a formula where:

    First part has Mohini-Laila scene.
Secone part has exclusive Parud scenes which is thankfully adorable.
    Third part has Family Drama.

For Parud scenes, Ashish has to be present and he is 95% of the time.
For the rest of the family scenes, BD hi kaafi hai.

To the B&B, if you are stuck at writing a scene and have no clue what to write to complete the 21 minutes airtime,

    SIMPLY, show Aman.

    Bas!!!

It can be him, having a talk with VK Singh.
Going through some papers or making some phone calls tracing Tejavat.
    Ordering people around.
    Phone convo with Paro.
Tapkofying during the dance, pointing out to Rudra or his BD.

Paro Bhabhi dances well and is a good person.
Laila dances well, her intentions are not good.

Just read your yesterday's take, I completely missed the battle cry part. War is on for atleast 2 weeks, might get extended depending on TRPs.

    1. Dia & Shwetha, I want Rudra's brain also to get activated at least regarding the aarti after dining table scene. He didn't trust Laila , so he should doubt her now once Mohini reads it out.

Agree with you Maithili can help Paro to rise some doubts regarding Laila...They can't make her roam around, doing aarti and dining with family as if she's a family member.

Precap I seriously don't have a clue ....let's wait how they are going to fit that dance.

Aman is a pleasure to watch. Hope CV's grant your wish. They should give some screen space to Samrat. I saw him in some AD, life insurance..he's good in that.

      Delete
    2. If Rudra realises Laila is there on an agenda from that aarti paper, I hope he chucks her out pronto! Or better still, decides to watch her carefully to see what she's up to. Icing on cake would be if he discusses this with Paro, as she is quite sensible ... but if the cvs are making Paro the all-forgiving one, then that might not of much use. Chalo, let Rudra retain his brains on this one, since Paro used hers during the laddoo track. At one time, only one of them can use their brains ... short supply hai.

If Sunehri is back, does that mean we might get more of Aman?

      Delete
    3. Maithili has already begun here. She did ask Laila to move out her stuff (is there any??)... she cannot stay in the same bedroom as the newly-weds. BTW, why is she sleeping in the same room? Is this Paro's way to keep Rudra safe? Laila cannot blame him for attacking her if Paro is in the same room. Twisted.. but something very typical.

      Delete
    4. No, Laila slept there only the first night ... which also doesn't make sense. They weren't planning to keep her hidden, the haveli is big, don't they have any guest rooms?

  4. Ratna:

    Kickstarting the promo discussion.

First impressions, the dance, Rudra watching the dance was shot separately as there was a mismatch of emotions.

Hope in the actual scene they edit and sort it out.

The trigger for the dance must be something Rudra must have said or done to make Paro so happy.

Could it be the hand, don't think so.

Maybe she pointed out to Rudra, Dude you have completely broken all your 8 vachans. (Anyone kept a count btw?)

Laila might jump in seeing how Rudra is watching Paro to show I am better than her.

The dance will be slightly uncoordinated (hopefully) as it is an impromptu dance.

Not a stage competition where they have practiced together for coordination and matching of steps.

Plus they are dancing for different reasons.

While trying to impress Rudra, Laila might give herself away.
Rudra's suspicions will be confirmed about Laila.

Since I saw Sunehri in the dance watching, we can expect Aman to tapkofy and give the news that Laila's claims are not true.

after dance, as this show has a track change every week, next week will be Laila's truth coming out.

Now if Sumer needs to brought back, then Mohini will use Sumer to betray Laila, so Sumer is forgiven and brought back.

Ladies, I know this is the weekend, plz do join in:)

    1. Regarding Promo I'm clueless. But as you pointed out it was not a
coordinated dance. Paro was dancing out of happiness ( between Sanaya was cute in one of the off screen snap of that Promo)and Laila seems to intrude in between...even suneria and Maithili seems to be happy watching Paro. Definitely it's not a competition. Hope the purpose of that dance may be to rise some doubts about Laila..menoths moment for Rudra or Maithili. I want Laila to be under some vigilance.

      Delete
    2. I didn't really get the promo. Is it a dance-off, a show of strength? The steps are mismatched. Paro is dancing in abandon. Shweta, it does seem Laila would join in seeing how Rudra is watching Paro. Making this something of a one-upmanship for her. Reminded me of the DTPH scene with Madhuri-Karisma. Let's see how it plays out. Maybe Laila will falter, and finally her true colors would be revealed to Paro.

      Delete
    3. I don't understand the promo at all. There is no festival, no celebration, why does Paro start dancing so suddenly with such gay abandon? Laila definitely joins in later to show she's better, but how is that gonna help her with Rudra?
Have to see how it plays out, there has to be something which will drive Rudra closer to Paro, and make Laila fume even more. But Laila will come up with something more dangerous after a series of small victories for Paro ... I think so. Otherwise this track makes no sense.
They should just find a new actor for Thakur and get on with the Mala and Rudra track. Or do a Nandini track. Sticking with kitchen politics is not doing the show any good at all

      Delete
    4. I agree with you. The Laila track is a total drab. Was expecting some kind of tension between Paro and Rudra... about his past with Laila. So far, Paro has likened him to Shiv. Getting Laila into the mix would have made her realize he is indeed human. Adding a Laila-Mohini angle is not working.

High time they started the Thakur track. Read somewhere that Sadiya is currently busy with another project. If not bringing Mala into the picture, they can at least show Rudra looking for the Thakur. Anything except kitchen politics. Are they waiting for IPL to end? If that, then it would be time for JDJ.

  5. Replacing Tejavat.

Frankly the actor irritated me when he said, only Ananya is a good actor.

Ananya aka Mohini is brilliant, no doubt about that.

I didn't like the putdown for Sanaya, Ashish and the actress who played his wife. They all are very good.

Or the actors playing Sumer, Daanveer, Dilsher, Maitili, Aman....are also good. No wonder despite the trappings of a daily show where supporting cast rarely gets to do much, every single one of them is loved and respected.

See you might be good at what you do. You can be arrogant about it too. But don't be so obvious that it completely puts you off as a person and as an actor.

So, for me it does not make an iota of a difference, the actor playing Tejavat is gone.

    They can simply replace him.

They have really good actors in Telly. The actor who played Madhubala's adopted dad, he is a really good actor. They can take him.

If they do not want to go that route, they can simply show a scene where Rudra gets the news that Tejavat was shot dead while he was trying to escape and they have Mala in custody.

    Mala track can begin.

I for one, would rather, they don't bring in Mala so early. The actress is busy in some shooting plus Ashish is busy with JDJ. The best would be if they start that track when Ashish comes back after JDJ.

Till then, they have the Laila track.

    Separation track.

Mind you, after Rudra brings Paro back, he is not going to be yayyyyyy, see I brought you back, am so happy.

He will be furious with her for giving up on him so easily.

So they can have a track that Rudra is mad at Paro. Paro is also mad at him that he always MUs her & her intentions.

We can have constant bickering track where they keep fighting with each other.

Dilsher, Maitli, Samrat, Daanveer trying to bring them together.

Meanwhile Mohini can come up with some excellent plans which fail constantly.

    That would be fun.

Looks like I have exhausted my quota of bakbak(NOT!!)

Will continue to tapkofy hoping all of you do the same.

It has been a while since we crossed 50 comments, so it would be nice to see that number.

      Naaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!

    2. Even I too missed it...I didn't check the TC article, which Ratna mentioned. Are you referring that article regarding Thakur???

      Delete
    3. There was a TC article which said he left Rangrasiya as his character didn't shape the way he expected. Theek hai ... he was good, but I agree that interview of his put me off too ... ego hai bhaisa ke paas, bahut badi! If you're in a show, you appreciate all the cast, you don't put them down.

He can be replaced easily ... they can spend this time looking for a good actor ... actors are a dime a dozen in tellyland, especially supporting actors. Yes, he had great screen presence, but there are quite a few older experienced actors around, and when the Mala Thakur track re-starts ... which it has to at some point, the Thakur's role will be important, so any good actor will be happy to do it.

Also, let's see if the news is true at all ... TC is quite unreliable!

      Delete
    4. Thanks Dia for the info. I checked the link which Ratna posted. But din't get the full part. He's not happy the way his character is shaping so he opted out- just this piece of info was there.

Anyways if he's not happy let him move out. Whatever he did , he definitely left an impact. As you said there are lot of others who can be considered for this role. The PH has also got enough time to bring Thakur track, may be after JDJ. Lets see if some other sources also confirm this news.

Also wanted to know your POV regarding Rudra- Laila scene. I want her to be smart and emotionally twisting him to get insecured about Paro knowing his past with her. By that way he at one point will spill the truth to his wife. Paro should know the truth. Hope she will handle that in a mature way. I don't want Laila to manipulate him regarding Paro when she leaves...though he won't buy her story...if they bring beautiful auart again ...it will spoil all these cute Parud moments so far happened and they would be back to square one . Instead he must bring her back and make her understand that he will not be cured emotionally if she leaves him and be angry for such blind beliefs. She may have the dilemma to choose between her hubby and beliefs. Disher, Maithali and co can help Paro in this. Intense chemistry need not be angst all the time...don't know what CV's have in their mind. But I would love to watch something positive. Please do write about this.

      Delete
    5. I doubt if the news is true, coming from TC. But completely agree about the replacement. If the actor is no longer interested, it clearly shows. We have had enough of it in IPK. Bhupinder Singh (the actor who played Mabubala's adopted dad) would be a good choice. He can carry the 'refined villain' role quite well. Played Gaurav Khanna's father in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. Transformed from a strict father to a female Mohini effortlessly.

I really don't get why these actors need to put down others. You are good, fair enough. But why put down the rest of the cast. Ego theek hai, why be pompous.

Shweta, loved your views on how the post separation track can play out. It does have a lot of potential.

      Delete
  6. Wanted to add, no Kakisa and Laila joining hands. They both are good in playing games between them to out smart the other. And if CV's give cute Parud scenes, then I won't mind if Laila stays for longer time. I want a balance between positive and negative. Too much of anything is not good.

Looking forward to read more this weekend from you all:)

this is my second comment on friday's post the above one being the first.
i love to see the blog buzzing with comments and ya,we should cross 50 comments on this post.see,i was a silent reader during IPK times and that habit takes time to wear off.sorry if u got annoyed/angry.
OK,I'm replying to ur post below right here.hope u,dia and others will read and reply[see, that's one of my concerns whenever i make a post]
1.honestly,i want the laila track to end ASAP.there can be all sorts of negative tracks with her around, like,
#she can manipulate rudra if paro leaves him without a talk.that can lead to more negativity and rudra back to khoobsurat aurat....mode.
#i actually don't want paro to know the real truth abt rudra and laila now.it's too early and their rishta is still nascent.that can lead to paro blaming herself for being KMH,forcing rudra into marriage and can be all daani too and can even convince the family too.more problems and turmoil and ultimately TRP and viewers like us will suffer.

i know dia,the jealousy track is good but in my opinion, rudra's admittence, some moments like the sui-dhaaga,some passion and romance is more necessary for the show and the TRPs right now. With all the promos going around every min,TRP viewers would surely tune in to see what's happening, and what do they get to see,laila-kaakisa plotting and planning???????????i seriously don't know how many will be impressed by this to choose it over the calm and pleasant YRKKH?

i know that most of u didn't follow QH here but i'm foced to make a point on it.during may-june 2013 period,QH had asad-zoya romance and all the rasms leading to the nikaah[which didn't happen then]but QH MADE THE IMPRESSIVE CLIMBING UP OF TRPS OF SOME 2.2 TO 3.8-4.1 RANGE DURING THAT PERIOD AND THEN THERE WAS NO TURNING BACK.even with ksg leaving and the recent 20 year leap, the TRPS aren't affected much.i think that gul had a right timing, captured the req.viewers and now rr is suffering inspite of good story, cast and promotions.[i think i got the facts right correct me pls if i'm wrong somewhere]

i want to make it clear that i don't believe in the trp system, but would like to see good ratings for rr too.
#my point was i dont have much bharosa on B&B[esp.bhaiya].somebody should knock sense into their heads before its too late.and if thakursa is not available/has quit, why can't they bring back sadiya and start the much-awaited mala track.that will bring in the much needed drama quotient to satisfy GH but pls,cvs put an end to laila track and make the paro leaving track intense and romantic rather than dramatic and negative and dumb.pls.
the insecurity track can be her distancing herself from rudra[after laila's exit with having some doubts on rudra and laila's truth]while he responds in the opposite.now, that'd be fun to watch.won't it?pls leave ur comments and views on this everybody and let's cross 50+ comments in this post.
      ratna.
ps:will post my take on the new CINTAA MoU and ashish-jdj in the other post soon.shwetha,i hope this long bak-bak is not too much.if so,apologies and thnx a lot for the 2 long replies on promo and replacing tejawat.

    3. Ratna I am going to try and borrow Paro's danda for you. Why do you keep apologizing for the length of the post. You do realize if the length was an issue, I would be banned for the next 7 shows in R&R (Janam in this case would be too much, lol)

I was not annoyed, I was just teasing you ki you have not bakbaked and apart from the shaant comment , If you have commented on the epi per se, I can't see it:(

One of the minus of summer vacations is you don't get the PC and for some dumb reason I can't post from my phone at R&R, grrr....

Just wanted to say nice discussion and hopefully we will visit these points over the course of the week.

  8. Chalo one more point of discussion:

    Paro knows Laila loves Rudra.
    Laila admitted to the same.

Now the question, has she figured out what their actual relationship was?

Has it occured to her Laila might have been KWB - Khabri with Benefits.

If she has not figured that part out and when she does find out, will her stance on Laila change?

Shouldn't it change a bit atleast. Some form of insecurity - Rudra was with Laila for 8 years, is that why he finds it tough to commit to me.

Did I force the marriage by proposing to him in public?

He had no choice but to get married to me, when who knows he might have married Laila?

I hope she does, there has to be a bit of jealousy from her side even if she does not show it in front of Rudra.

And when she does discuss this with Rudra, how will he react.

Will he say I know you don't know English, but kya Math may be weak ho?

1+1 ko 300 bana rahi ho?

    Bakbak away ladies,

We have 20 more comments to go to reach 50:)

    1. Yep, I want some jealousy from Paro, some insecurity ... Rudra was with Laila for 8 years, he didn't want to marry Paro, was it because he was committed to Laila ... but only more committed to his job? So that's why he was reluctant to marry Paro ... because of Laila. But he had to because Paro forced the issue.

Kuch toh jealousy honi chahiye ... Paro can't be that secure ... Rudra has not once told her he's even okay with the marriage, forget about accepting it.

      Delete
    2. Same here, Shweta. I expected some kind of introspection from Paro. Right now we have 'I know she loves you ... blah blah'. But she needs to think about this relationship Rudra had with Laila. Or if she did come between the lovers? But I don't want her to act all daani and give up Rudra to Laila. Would not make sense given her beliefs.

About khabri with benefits, I think the writers messed up here. They portrayed Laila more as a hooker than a khabri. Had she not been such an in-your-face character, the dynamics between the three would have been interesting.

  12. About the promo.... the two scenes in which Rudra appears, I think they are cut from the NGO episode.

  13. Writing here after a long time
The storyline of RR as i first saw it seemed to be a story from Paro's perspective but reading about the post Tejavat expose and track thereafter i am not so sure. The abrupt change in Paro demeanor, of a jogan of sorts of Rudra seemed to me, a knee-jerk departure from the intended storyline for some reason.
Felt the expose should have been averted for longer or truth of Varun hidden from Paro longer, thus Paro could have had a better journey in search of Rudra. The journey to know Rudra (assuming there is to know) could have been more gradual/impactful. Semantically, u can prove anything; for me its the almost tellydom equivalent of Anjali-IPK accepting Khushi after Shyam expose. Questions asked but no answers sought unless u count the rakhiday as an answer. Well, i split hairs with Su then but well at the end i can't argue why it takes some 2 episodes to be convinced and some like me many more.
Anyways, hurtling or not, having reached the point of sacrifice for "greater" good, the stage is set for Paro to leave Rudra to prove that women are indeed fickle!! The adage of "sona aag me tapkar hi chamkta hain" or thereabouts to then follow. Shwetha, ur scenarios of Rudra deeming to understand Paro is perhaps not likely to turn true U do know a shatir dimag (M/L) is hanikarak for the survival of tellydom. I can’t blame Rudra in this case. He has practically spelt out why he is not comfortable with beautiful women and love and abandonment and yet if Paro chooses to forsake him after bludgeoning him to accept her as his wife, what is he to make of all this Poor guy! But isn't Paro aware that the "khubsoorat aurat" syndrome is linked to Rudra's past of which his mother plays an important role? Oh dumb me..where did Rudra say his mother is a beautiful aurat? Maybe now i can see why Paro wants it all spelt out. So u see, its so easy to accept any position once u have made up your mind.
Btw, my comments are from a reader's perspective. I don't follow the serial . I just read the updates and only happen to catch a few scenes when surfing so i may be totally wrong about my impressions. I did watch more regularly until the Thakur expose and was fairly happy with the development of Paro's character tho not so with Rudra, aspects that i spelled out in a post. After I stopped watching, somehow the updates give me a better sense of Rudra the character than Paro. I can understand the conflict of Rudra better. He has started to build hope with this relationship but at the same time, he seems to have a premonition of things not going well as he has not been able to unshackle himself of the demons of the past. He is holding back as much as he can in the hope that "waqt rehte" she can turn back before he crosses the threshold of that position one calls "falling irrevocably" in love. But one can't turn off and turn on emotions like that.. U are in it or not...there is not a space in between the two states.
On the contrary, the avowed proclamation of love of Paro leaves me a bit cold becos i do not find her to have really understood Rudra esp as she claims to do so.If she did, she must have an inkling that her going away is likely to put Rudra back further in the depths of despair. This is the aspect in the present storyline that i can't connect to, which is why i feel they should have gone easy on this Paro as Rudra's jogan. Symbolically it is possibly easy to accept the so called "sacrifice", either I would have expected a better reflection on Paro’s part or mellowing of the "I understand u very well" posturing by Paro. One of my favourite scenes in RR was the question of Rudra " why me"? and Paro's reply. That is the essence of love in my view. However, in respect of the narrative, I felt the scene was premature from Paro's perspective. I wish they had shown Paro taking a little more time to know Rudra.
    Catch u guys later.
