2/9 - Epi 176 ... There's No Difference At All

Tuesday 2nd Sept

Again ... it's such a pleasure watching good actors on screen ... and when you watch someone not anywhere near as good, then the difference is so apparent.

Rohit has disappeared, Myrah is worried ... but tries to calm herself ... everything's going to be all right.

Rudra apparates ... that's the only word for it! Myrah startled, first checks on Dhruv ... everything is fine.
Awkward silence ... awkward from Myrah's end. Rudra seems very calm.
Myrah says good night and turns to go.

'You become a child yourself with the children, that's how you handle them so well. Second point.'
'You always reach out to help others, whether related to them or not ... like Maithili.' Third point.'

Myrah seems a little overwhelmed ... and like always, she tries to hide deeper emotions with a light smile ... besides the way he's looking at her is not too good for her composure. Great, I asked for three points, you gave them ... forgiven. Good night.

Rudra is not done yet.

'You're amazingly courageous. Fourth point.'
Myrah reminds him ... she was scared during the kidnapping.
No matter ... she kept her head, she was courageous ... how else would he have found her?
That sounded like a very loaded statement ... especially when Rudra comes up close to drive the point home.

'Fifth ... you're amazingly honest ... what you say is what you feel. But you say it in a way to not hurt others.'

Okay, that's enough ... she only wanted three things, he's giving her more to preempt the need to say another sorry.
Rudra goes on as though she hasn't said anything ... 'whatever be the problem, you find a reason to smile. You find the good in everything.'

By now I'm wondering ... these are not points of difference with Paro at all ... these sound more like points of similarity ... like the first one did yesterday.
They also sound more like recognition of all her qualities ... a verbal recognition which he never gave her in life.

And the way he's talking ... and the way he's looking at her ... seems like Myrah is melting into a puddle ... and her almost whispered words indicate the same ...
'I just asked for three things ...'
'You're made of more than three things, Myrah ...'

Myrah can't handle a sweet Rudra ... and says so with a smile ... Rudra offers to yell instead ... they both laugh ...
Soft 'good night's ... and they walk away from each other ... to the tune of the title song ... damn, how I missed that tune ... and those longing looks ...

And Myrah stumbles and falls ... into Rohit's arms ...
How did he apparate there? Don't people enter the Ranawat haveli ... like, normally ... through doors etc ... any more?!

Myrah is shocked to see Rohit ... Rohit smiles ... and smiles some more ... introduces himself to Rudra ... and wants some private talk with Myrah ...

Myrah Rohit ... Myrah in touch with an adoption agency ...
And Rohit never got her video message about breaking up ... or so he says. And he's surprised to see her so tense ... he knows why ...
Why?

Rudra broods ... over Myrah falling in Rudra's arms ... Dhruv sleepily tells him everything will be fine. Just like Paro.

Rohit gives a long discourse about friendship and love ... they don't have love, romance, passion ... but they're just fine ... they've known each other since Nursery ... and he's happy to marry her and grow old with her as well.
But Myrah is in another world ... because she's discovered she wants that love, romance, passion after all ... but how can she now tell Rohit that, after he's apparently fought with his father for her?

Mohini in a pickle ... poor Danveer! And he worsens Mohini's worry ... he likes Shatabdi's achar the best again!

Rudra comes knocking ... of course! How can he let Myrah spend the night with another man? Rohit has no problem ... but Rudra's family is conservative.
Myrah agrees with Rudra ... she'll sleep with Dhruv.

Myrah's fbs of her initial meetings with Rudra ... sees the picture of Paro and baby Dhruv ... and remembers Rudra's words ... no marriage without love ... and love only once in a lifetime. And Rudra's love is Paro ... only Paro. Myrah can never be equal to Paro.

Precap - as Rudra said, Myrah is brutally honest ... she couldn't sleep because it was his bed.

Okay, I have stopped thinking about whether Myrah is Paro or not ... the first half of the episode convinced me that she is ... the second, with the childhood memories threw me off.
Varun also wound Paro in his web of sweet words about marriage and children, and being an orphan and loving imli ... have these memories been fed to Myrah ... and the bells were her warning sign during therapy not to try to remember her real past?

  1. Difference #1 : Myrah is very much capable of looking after herself. She doesn't need anyone.

Difference #2 : Myrah becomes kids when she is with kids.

Difference #3 : Myrah helps everyone including strangers.

Difference #4 : Myrah is brave.

Difference #5 : Myrah smiles all the time, no matter what the situation is.

Mujhe tho in paanch differences mein bhi Paro hi nazar aa rahi hai. Either Rudra has lost his memory in seven years or he hasn't observed his wife properly. Duffer kahi ka! :X :X I hope Rudra surprises all of us by saying that he cannot really differentiate Myrah and Paro. And hence Myrah = Paro. :D :D

I would have believed if Rudra had mentioned Myrah's English, and her brash nature as differences. The qualities he mentioned remind me of Paro. Is that why the CVs chose to state the above 5 differences? So that, they can justify the 'Myrah is Paro' theory. Too much wishful thinking. Effects of a nice, long weekend I guess. :) :)

    1. Yesterday I was sure she was Paro ... today I am sure she's Myrah :(

Chalo, koi nahin ... the show is ending ... and if this is the way they're going, it's a good thing!
