Arrival of the Social Workers from the Mahila Sadan ... and the nautanki starts. Mohini trying to show how the wedding took place under dire circumstances and Paro is troubled, tormented and a victim of force and abuse ... unfortunately for her, Danveer and Maithili don't leave her alone to ferment trouble the way she would really love to do.
Rudra and Paro return from the BSD office on the phatphatiya ...
Rudra tells Paro to take care as she gets off ...
Paro is thrilled at his gesture of care ... and *head desk* says so.
Paro darling, haven't you realised by now that your big bear of a husband is petrified of letting the slightest softness show through ... he has a reputation and a facade to maintain, you know!!! So of course Rudra growls back that he's only worried she will fall, because she falls so often ...
Fortunately Paro isn't too concerned by his gruffness ... she does know that Rudra aadat se majboor hai. So she just makes a pithy remark about how whatever she does is wrong in his eyes, and drives his dimaag kharab ... thereby letting him know very subtly that she thinks his dimaag is kharab ... and leaves with the last word.
Paro is becoming wife in the true sense of the word!
Maithili really is a sweetheart ... she rushes out to warn Paro and Rudra that they need to be on their best behaviour ... Rudra takes that to mean that instead of dragging Paro in by her arm, he should hold her hand ... and gently, too.
Thank God he does understand some basic notion of romance. Very basic. Kindergarten level. Maybe below that ... Nursery level.
Anf fortunately for him, since he really can't be polite to save his life, nor can he speak in anything but rough tones, Paro takes over the question answer session ... and gives simple, truthful answers ... sugar coated enough to satisfy the SWs. Or so she hopes.
Of course, interspersed with Mohini trying her best to edge in some zingers designed to create doubt in their minds ... and Danveer neutralising them as best he can.
Rudra decides Paro might get too carried away, so pulls her away to the kitchen to warn her ... but Paro is quite in control of the situation, thank you very much ... and she'll take care of it ... he's fumbling too much, so she can't leave things to him.
Rudra fumbles and mumbles a little more, and decides she just might be right.
Loved the return of the calm, sensible Paro ... taking charge of the situation and taking over. And Rudra is settling well into the role of typical husband ... he may be boss in the office, but wifey is boss at home.
Though he does step in with a couple of sentences of his own when they return with the tea ... but apparently not enough to satisfy Senior SW. She's already heard about Major RP Ranawat ... and she doesn't trust men.
He would understand that ... he doesn't trust women. But only beautiful ones, that is.
So Senior SW decides she will stay a little longer to convince herself and her junior ... and Mohini is very happy (Ananya Khare was very good here ... just her eyes showing her relief and thrill that the SWs were staying on longer, so she got a little more time and opportunity to put her plans into action.)
Paro confers with Maithili ... she knows how important Rudra's job is to him ... it's his life. And she has to make sure she safeguards it, she will do whatever she has to do, to ensure that.
Currently all she has to do is get ready for another rasam ... in another gorgeous lehnga ... am loving Sanaya's outfits in this show!
While Rudra has an agitated conversation with Col Singh ... these women are staying on? For how long? And what does he have to do?
Col Singh treats him like the sulking brat Rudra is behaving like .. be good, or you won't get your stripes back. Be polite ... speak properly to the ladies ... and SMILE.
Rudra banna looks as though he doesn't know the meaning of the word.
The rasam for the newly weds ... the three choices ... a bowl of roses, with the accompanying thorns ...
A bowl of money ...
A bowl of sweet kheer.
And they both choose the roses ... along with the thorns. A life of love ... with the accompanying ups and downs ...

If you can't do that, then I am sleeping here. You don't have to go to work tomorrow, I have lots of work in the home. Waisay bhi patni hoon, itna haq toh banta hai.
Rudra takes a cold shower, hits himself with the invisible danda and tells himself," Aur karo Nakhray, ab bhugto"

Awwww, thanks Dia for liking my faltupanti. Another ROFL moment was when during the ceremony, it looked to me that abruptly the BD withdrew the hand when he touched Sanz, If it was Rudra, I am sure he wouldn't have let it go that easily.

ReplyDeleteactually why did dilsher disappear all of a sudden?anything wrong with the actor??hope they aren't going for a replacement!then'd hate it the most.miss him a lot onscreen.
i agree with shwetha,mangalsutra missing is a valid point.but seems like they're going to make the dhaga permanent unless a new one is brought.
Also,paro does not still look like the haveli's bahu,no pallu[not that i wanted a DABH/BW but her appearance should match mala(in the flashback) or atleast maithili].besides,kakisa still calls her baaisa rather than beendhni.these are minor glitches,but if taken care of,can make the show perfect.[i think a similar point was raised in IF too y'day]what do u think?
lastly,those BDs are becoming more and more obvious.seriously,when will ashish return?in a much awaited track like this,both the leads must be present.have sanaya,gautam and janki forgotten their last experience?and BDs have arrived much early in the show here.

I don't know, Ratna ... I'm missing him too. The guy is a well known actor, he might be doing something else as well ... many of the supporting actors do that. And he works in BW as well. I hope he's not leaving the show ... I love the character of Dilsher, and he will have a role to play when Mala comes back, I guess. For now, they are concentrating on the Rudra-Paro love story ... for four months, Rudra has only been growling and shouting at Paro, they have to show some change in him now. Paro has changed, it's his turn.
DeleteIn Othello, Othello is madly in love with Desdemona, and its his insane jealousy which causes the tragedy. Here Paro is in love with him, he is in love with her but fighting his feelings ... so there has to be some progression on that front now.
Mangalsutra is not a must in many communities ... it's only a must in the South. I still don't own one. So I can ignore that ... sindoor is more important. But Mohini should call paro beendni, not baisa ... they have to change that.
Apparently Ashish was out for the weekend for a family pooja, he's back today, so no more BDs. The guy does take a lot of leave! Sanaya hasn't taken any leave at all since the show started.
And totally agree with you ... we need a new promo ... URGENTLY. Maybe with Ashish off, they didn't have time to shoot one ... but they need to promote the show more. I see BI, SSK, Bani and BV promos all the time ... NONE of Rangrasiya!!! Also the problem is they wrap up the tracks too quickly ... they had a promo for the hate marriage, the marriage is done and dusted within a week ... now they need a new promo. Most other shows have promos for tracks, and the tracks take weeks to wind up. BV has a new track of Amol being kidnapped ... am sure the track for run for at least a month.

Promos: Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh, You all must have noted, BI had its ownpromo even when the show was on plus they put together some scenes from the epi and made it a promo.....
Uffffffffffff.....TRP/Promo/BD.....why does it always happen to the shows we love, grrrr.....
I hope the lack of promos is because Ashish was away this weekend ... and now that he's back, they can shoot another one. They'd BETTER!!!!!!!!!
