    2. ROFL.
      She is really good.

      From my side:

Not able to fall in love with the supporting cast, yet. The energetic cousin sis looks interesting. The other characters...I feel SLB has failed in introducing them to us properly. Only the leads and the vamp have been characterised well so far. And the show does not look interesting at least to me, unless one of these characters are on the screen.
      Dia,
Are you guys really sure SLB wants this to cross 1000 epis?It is going to be a tough task.

I think SLB has answered this Q of mine...’Will he change the ending?’

The answer is an emphatic NO ...SLB speaks through Kumud...

Hum dono ke baat ki shuruat aap ki naa se hui thi....lekin khatam MERI NAA SE HOGI!

Looks like Kumud is going to say the last NO...and khatam-fy the tale.(:D I still hope that happens 9 months from now.)

Gee...Jamba seems to believe so too...with the fast pace and all...and SP waiting to spring their never ending list of promising shows...

Also wondered: erm...Dhikri's school must have a record number of students...at least, I am pretty sure the boys have no reason to bunk their classes...with a teacher who dresses like that! (Really can't help comparing Kumud's style with the rest of the family ...does it have to be so shockingly different?)

  2. My observation about Sanaya and Barun in IPK. Barun's physical attributes suited ASR but his character was very unlike ASR. So he did not have to work hard on the way he walked and talked but had to work hard in the way he looked and acted, conveying that intensity and passion which are the hallmark of ASR. Given that he has a breezy, fun loving personality, this must have been hard for him.

Sanaya, on the other hand, had to work hard on her physical attributes which were so unlike Khushi. She had to alter the way she walked and talked but Khushi's core - her crazy, loud and to-the-face personality fitted with Sanaya's real character. So once she got Khushi's mannerisms right, the rest of her was easier for her to play. That does not mean that she had an easy time playing Khushi and I'm sure the emotional scenes must have been quite draining for anyone but Khushi was closer to her real life character than Gunjan was. In that sense, it must have been easier for her to play this role than the soft spoken, demure Gunjan.

    1. Opti,

Both of them BS/SI worked hard for getting their characters right. And the chemistry was awesome that was the reason, the show became such a craze as it did. I don't want to compare whose work or whose effort was more. For me both worked hard an gave a memorable product for 1.5yrs and I will be their fan for a long time. Would be happy if I can see their pairing some time in future but not keeping too many hopes on it. A serial like IPK they say, happens only once in a blue moon.

    5. Hi Shwethu, Dia, Jaya, Usha.....I started watching ZGH from the time it started airing....Fortunately it started around the time IPK ended.......the story is just getting interesting.....earlier episodes were for setting the story up, the characters and their insecurities.....and now they are meeting after a gap, when Kashaf feels more confident about what she has achieved in her life. Should be interesting to watch how things unfold. I absolutely love Fawad Khan....very easy on the eye and very well-spoken!
I find that the Pakistani serials stick to their story and wrap up within 30-40 episodes. Humsafar was a sensation around the world and so beautifully done....Very real, no overdone drama or comedy. A most satisfying watch.
Usha...I too love Sidra...her conversations with Kashaf are so cute....I hope Kashaf lightens up a little! It will be a lovely transformation!

  4. Exactly how many shows is SP having on floors right now - there is SD shergill, Custody, Daag(no idea if this is gone), Pratigya 2, Hum saath saath hain. Where does SP have place to put all these shows. So I think SNS and YRK will also face the axe very soon then. SP seems to be desperate to have so many shows on pipeline and it is not sure which one will click.

I remember that Q we asked ..who is the 4th lion?

Here is the ans from Forum 32 on Gul's B'day.

'Gul Khan has been at the helm of sketching each and every character with her writers and creative team in each of the shows. With Qubool Hai, she has gone back to her other love, Direction. Apart from writing the concept and yes we have seen her writing screenplays and scenes for her shows, she manages the team from production perspective as well. This multi-talented lady of course has support from her partners; Gorky who is her husband and Nissar Parvez who is her brother. The most oft heard joke is that with these three lions who is the fourth one that makes 4 Lions Films. The answer is their creativity.'

Didn't know Nissar is her bro!

    1. me too did not know Nissar was her brother..the niche of this PH is the genre of M&B romance, they have a very talented crew and creativity is certainly their strong point :)

  8. @Veera..(mon-tue).. i agree with moti chaiji by raising their false hopes Ratan is not helping her kids, but guess she is grapling at straws now bcus the Ranvi's questin of whether Sampooran is alive or no has really shook her to the core. Veera is a handful, liked her and Nihal's scene a lot. Why are they bringing in that Sampooran friend falling for Ratan angle..was it there from beginning, sorry i have not seen the initial epis..from what i read this friend was supposed to marry Veera's mom right or have i got it all wrong :( Nihal is turning out to be a sore eyes to more than one person in the pind. Hope we get some kinda next clue as to Nihal-Sampooran story now, some tiny bit at least

@watching bits and pieces of Amita ka Amit.. kinda enjoying it.

btw when is Sanaya's new show starting date, is the timing fixed..will have to schedule my times accordingly :)

  9. su, just saw the comments on the last thread.. and have to admit, its been a few days since i watched QH. I dont know what highway 13 you are talking about. rain dance? yes, i did visit IF and got snippets of a raindance, but right now, i dont have the stomach to watch it.

it seems the story is going to get more threads woven in.. hope they handle it better than IPK. all the best to them.

violence.. that is one of my pet peeves with chota bheem: that it is ridiculously violent, and they justify it all by punishing the wrongdoer on the end. IMHO, there are far better ways to entertain children. my kids sat through an entire 2 month vacation mugging up chota bheem... zombies , witches, sadists, sorcerers, bandits ,evil cheaters, werewolves, vampires...these were all introduced(yes, for the first time) to my kids through that one cartoon serial. undid a lot of years of work.. and i can definitely see a difference in my kids.

    1. Jaya,

Agree with you. Actually in my neighbour's daughter's school the principal has sent out letters to the parents in the LKG/UKG standards to make sure their kids don't watch this chota bheem program because it was violent and it actually screws up your english and it undoes all the work the teachers were trying to do in the school. It is then I really got how bad these programs were on the kids pschye.

One really good thing or rather one thing I am happy about is that my kids are not fluent in Hindi since they were born and stayed in US for 10 yrs. So we usually stick around with Tintin or other good movies like Wall-E, Up and so on. I do hope they don't get an liking for Hindi serials when they grow up too because they are not familiar with the language.

When I was growing up our parents didn't have to worry so much if we watched TV because the serials were really good - be it Udaan, Hum Log, Chunauti, Malgudi Days, Surabhi. Our parents needn't worry about us getting influenced by the serials on air. Now we have to really really monitor the serials that the kids watch.

    2. J,
Badi Bi- Raziya put you off so much? I agree even I was feeling restless with the saazish track...but I feel they tapered it off at the right time to start the romance track...which will now be cut short with Asad's sweetheart...Tanveer. Gul is sticking to her original story, as promised.

More threads woven in...Never expected the saazish track to wind up any time now...that was just opened up a bit...so that Asad and Zoya will have another fall out with the Rashid issue...Ayan and Zoya become partners in crime- Mona darrlinggg and Raaaberrrt...

Badi Bi- Raziya: that drama will continue as a filler for some time.

The threads will be tied up. After all, they did give the Mangalpur track an end...in two lines. The girl went with her bro and the goons got arrested for the crime which was mentioned before the Mangalpur track started.

Chhotta Bheem: I don't allow my son to watch it any more.

I realised how bad it was when I started getting hit as his fantasy villain, and then I discovered many of my friends were having similar problems. It is ridiculously violent and addictive for the kids.

    3. Cont post 2

I think it is mostly with how we react to the films and the serials. I have been in US for 13+ yrs and have been completely out of touch with Indian movies. We usually got used to watching English movies and in that also once the kids were born we used to stick to kids movies since all of us could enjoy the same movie. Now after coming to India also we hardly venture out to Hindi movies.

The first movie I ventured out to watch was Kamal's Vishwaroop after my office friends highly recommended it. I was shocked at seeing the movie because it was very gruesome and the scenes were very shocking. My kids were scared even though they are 10 and 12 yrs old and at the same time in the theater I saw kids who were barely 6/7 yrs enjoying the fights and violence and parents happily watching the movie.Though the movie was true and the shooting was realistic - I felt the movie was very violent, something the kids shouldn't be taken to. So it depends on how you view the scenes on the film. Sadly the population in India seems to be okay with the violence that is shown in our movies and hence a slap/a murder attempt is very common for them. For me I don't think I would watch any Indian movies for a long time unless they are comedy movies like Golmaal series.

    4. My son is stuck with doraemon for the past so many years and now I love him too :-)

    5. Sarada,
I wouldn't generalise all Hindi movies and Indian cartoons like that. There is an excellent series in CN or pogo...forgot the name- it has a donkey,a cat and a monkey- and they retell tales from our culture- like jataka tales and all. Very informative and non- violent- each one has a moral too. I used to love watching it with my son...that was the alternative I offered when I weaned him off Chhotta Bheem.

On Kamal movies...he is stuck with himself. He cannot grow beyond himself. This is the difference I find between Kamal and NS. I guess one has to be humble enough to go for low budget movies which are made well...for most of the stars it becomes an ego hassle...the size of your budget speaks about your personality? It is a variation of the 'I have a bigger car' syndrome. I guess with Kamal it is also an experiment on how better he can deliver with a bigger budget- an eccentric trait, I suppose.

There are excellent movies being made in all languages- Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali...they are low budget, but they have more entertainment and cultural value than most English movies.

The problem I have with English movies is mostly the raw portrayal of sensuality and love...even in cartoons..take a Barbie...I can see the negative influence it has on my niece's psyche. The Transformers...there is plenty of violence there too. I am just trying to tell you that you cannot generalise movies in any language like that. We have our good and bad, they have too!

And I guess our children who are brought up on violent Hindi movies don't end up so bad, because they know how UNREALISTIC that violence is...eg. is my son differentiating between fact and fantasy when it came to the torture sequence. So I suppose this kind of silly unrealistic portrayal does leave a positive impact...separates reality from fiction.

I am in no way supporting violence in movies, I hope you understand that.

But this is a fact...I am a mother who clutches her heart when her son picks up the news paper...how do I explain murder and rape and gruesome details of accidents to a 8 year old who is just coming to terms with 'people die when they grow old'?

The world around us is changing. I don't know which is worse... Reality or Fiction?

      Usha,
Doraemon! I cannot make head or tail out of the character, though my son watches it now and then. I guess I have to sit and watch it with him.

Sigh...I remember there was a sci-fi named Indradhanush in our days...remember it vaguely..I remember liking it a lot as a kid.

  11. Dia,

Loved this interview of Rajan Shahi on Kuch toh log kahenge being pulled off air because Krittika wanted to opt out for a break. So posting it here

    http://www.india-forums.com/tellybuzz/starry-takes/14169-i-wanted-to-respect-kritika-decision-to-take-a-break-rajan-shahi.htm

I admire this guy Rajan - He is one who takes care of his team mates very well and his PH seriously works well with actors leave/taking off and personal things. That is why I admire this guy. The show is going off-air and this was not even a top ranking show on the charts but he did take time and gave an interview on why they are going this route and what can be expected down the line. That is what is needed of the creatives and PH when shows are going off-air. Needless to say something I am very highly critical of is the way they handled IPK going off-air without even caring to give a press conference but yes they do have time in the world to do Koffee interviews.

I think BS taking leave and opting out has indeed turned out to be a boon to the actors - we have Pratuysha last week opting out of the role that made her, Krittika opting out now and KTLK winding up. So maybe we can see seasons on Indian Telly very soon if the trend continues. So in hindsight I am happy that BS quit the show - only thing is the way his quit was handled by the PH and the channel which did nothing but paint him black in the whole issue.

I hope 4Lions did learn something from the IPK closure and there were some important things happening this week. Last week it was Sphere Origins which replaced the lead Anandi with new actress and they did it without any hungama or any tsunami and did it with so much dignity. And now Rajan opting to close the show with the lead instead of making a mockery of everything. So lesson for 4Lions and other PHs - If you have it in you to take ahead the story, work on it and go on with replacement and if you can't then honor your actors and take it to logical conclusion. Either way don't make mockery of yourself and your team mates.

I do hope Rajan comes out the 'family sitcom/family relations' mindset and makes a good thriller or a good story and hopefully he can deliver on that. I like the way his PH works but I can't really fall in love with his serials exception was Bidaai and that too it was only for sometime in between - rest was a big bore.

    Never thought I'd miss Anandi.

Hate the replacement they got for her...not liking Anandi's current track of finding the lost child either.

Seriously, couldn't they get someone who fits Anandi's frame?

Pratyusha was so meek looking, yet oozed a certain confidence...the current actress looks too bossy...

I have sat through 3 replacements in shows I have followed...KTLK replaced the ML. And I was more than happy with the replacement.

Same cannot be said about SNS and BV...

    1. Hi 5 Su
Was so disappointed with yesterday's episode. It looked as if the whole character of Anandita had undergone a change. Cannot imagine Anandita behaving like this putting the lives of so many girls in danger. It was almost like surfing the new Anandi down our throat. I just hated her dialogues. Along with the new female, did they get a new story, dialogue and screenplay writer as well. I just can't associate anandi's quiet strength despite her diminutive frame to the dialogues she was mouthing or the pauses between dialogues.

anyway, i watched saraswathi chandra... and i was mightily disappointed. may be it was the cater pillar like eyebrows of the male lead or the barely there choli coupled with see-through dupatta of the female lead.... i guess the story is slightly intriguing, atleast for those who havent read the book... i may watch it for another week or so and if by then gowtham is still going to be looking like a bad photocopy of angry young man, m gonna quit!

  18. don't know if anyone is watching MB - the episodes earlier this week were poorly directed and had way too many direction bloopers - so i thought - its official - every story, every hero after his drunken confession goes down - either with a brain freeze or by just being silly -

But have to say - the characterization in MB is really good:
    - really liked that though RK wanted to break MB and he had not expected her stand so soon- he cant see her in pain - liked that though he made fun of it to his mom but one little whiff of competition - just a pair of eyes - and he is ready to crumble - MB is strong and tall and he is all shaky!
MB - loved that she took the words out of his mouth when he tried to taunt her about the new guy - loved that she gave no explanations - not coz she does not explain her whereabouts - just that she does not explain them to nobodies!!

    1. So GH is writing the 'Faraq padtha hain' track now. Oh gosh - kuch toh original script likho yaar. BTW heard that Vivian is going to be out for like 10 days or more due to his honeymoon so no idea how the team is going to handle this faraq padtha hain track with one lead absent.

    2. there is a new antihero in town.. hot hunk, silent deadly types, ready to kill and be killed for his son.. and the son, tiny tot of seven or 8, is fixated on madhu.. so i think the story will manage happily without RK for a week or two. he kidnapped madhu twice, both times she kept it secret.. both from home and sets.. and when RK questioned her about her absence, she said you have no rights to question me, you are not my husband anymore. tumhe kya faraq padtha hain, bologe toh sochega ki jawab dena ki nahi. RK has no answer today...maybe tomorrow :D

am enjoying na bole tum these days.. the reunion is going strong, all the unsaid emotions are being exposed.. generally, this angst i like.

watched QH after a break, seems the new girl in asad's life is his childhood friend and she has assumed the mantle of host.. and zoya has become the outsider, and z is trying irritatingly hard with attention seeking antics that it is not funny anymore.. and today asad MUed her AGAIN. well, mujhe kya farak padtha hain :S

    3. Thanks J for the roundup. Actually I too was thinking on jumping on the NBT bandwagon. Right now I am watching Pyar ka dard hai and Veera and both are going good. Pyar ka dard hai has Harish's illness out and everyone knows the reason Harish is trying to go away from Avantika and even Avantika admitted that Panku as a bahu is a gem of a person. Veera - the creatives are doing black magic yaar, I get dragged in to the show and I so feel like hugging Ranvi and Veera and telling them - it doesn't matter they are brother and sister for life. Just can't watch their dard and I end up crying when I watch the serial. Stupid SP people why do they have to air this show at 10:30PM. After wards I get so sad and it becomes hard for me to sleep. Kids are brilliant and so is Moti Chaijji and Ratan. Now Ratan is trying to use reverse psychology and getting Ranvi to stand up and protect Veera. Can't wait for today's episode.

Tried so hard to watch Saraswatichandra but it was 'sab bakwaas che' and I couldn't connect to the show no matter. SLB is recreating his famous scenes in Devdas and Hum dil de chuke sanam with GR-Jennifer but unfortunately I am reminded of the big screen Ash/SRK/Salman and these people are not coming up to the mark to leave their own impression. So SC I have happily chucked it out.

One other show I am watching regularly is IPK in Telugu dubbed version - Today it was the terrace scene before the wedding. Absolute magic and even with the poor quality of dubbing, I am zapped with the show and the acting makes me get goosebumps on my hands. I am eagerly watching/re-watching this one and even my hubby who was dead against this serial in the beginning was forced to sit with me and watch it because the acting was so good. He ultimately admitted to me yesterday that I now understand your craze for IPK - the serial is quite addictive. Devi Maiyya in Heaven must be ROFL-ing now. After teasing me so mercilessly during the airing of the original, now my husband admits that the serial was really something.Kash ki creatives ko pata hota what they had in their hand was a diamond mine actually. They left that and are throwing in all their twists in their new baby - Well mujhe kya farak padtha hain. I am happy in my AD and then there is always San's new show on the horizon and the Youtube for the absolute brilliant scenes and vms. I am set for a long time with Arhi's memories.

no wonder we say that Tvland is still stuck in the sixties.. the sixties was such a progressive time! why we as a society never progressed after that is a question that needs to be thought about.

    2. Mona,J,

A good part of the QH forum feels the same too.

      If that is true:
Raziya traced Asad's childhood friend and trained her to be her spy? If they are giving us that, it is a little too much of creativity for me.

I am for the old fashioned gold digger theory.
Tanveer finds her childhood friend has made it big and hopes to charm her way in to his heart- makes Zoya look more and more irresponsible and herself the understanding, well behaved, cultured girl that is the woman of Asad's dreams...repeating Sheetal partly here, but I really would prefer that.

    3. SU, great that i saw you. can you tell me exactly what happened in the week that i did not watch? why were asad n zo high? i definitely did see siddiqui saab on that photo off the wall of the old house..

saw friday's epi.. the recording in the doll has changed. so my money's on tannu. (but then, 4L has the habit of playing with the obvious and finally exposing it, so maybe it is the servant..)

      Delete
    4. Zoya tricked Asad into takinhg her to the Highway to look for a clue Ayan had given Asad, with the building on the photo. They reach the run down, deserted house. Zoya finds the same photograph with a li'l bit clearer face- Was that Siddiqui? Please let it be not! I'll hate Gul if she makes that man Zoya's dad!

Anyway, Zoya has an emotional moment outside the house and hugs Asad- akin to the Hospital hug- but a little different, since Asad actually holds her in the end. He tries to warn her later that this khoj might bring about a heart break 4 her since her father is not looking 4 her. Zoya says she will not judge her father without giving him a fair chance.

They start back 4 Bhopal- this is where Ayan comes in with the plans to delay them- they have teamed up as Raabert and Mona.
Zoya buys some pakoras not knowing they are bhang pakoras- because she KNOWS they will end up spending the night away from home. She was just trying to be prepared.

The doll chip- I have my bets on the servant. She let the doll go finally- must mean she changed the chip. Otherwise, she'd have tried to retrieve it again.
Again, how likely is it that Raziya got hold of Asad's childhood sweetheart to work as a spy 4 her?

      Delete
    5. thank you so much, su.. i was wondering how they came upon the bhang pakore in a deserted house.

and yes, it was a picture of siddiqi.. the actor was young in the pic.

and yes, billo rani was tannu.. my kids were freaked out by the white eye.. but i think she is just PERFECT for a villain role, after seeing monday's episode.

    3. Jaya,

See yesterday's and today's worth it. Dialogues between mother-son, ratan-chaiji were all fab.
Basically ranveer is too shaken up getting to know that veera is not his real sister and baldev tells him she was the reason his father left. So he cuts off veera and does not acknowledge her and she keeps thinking he is angry because she lost the rakhi he gave her.
The whole high point came yesterday and today when ratan uses reverse psychology to get him to react. See it.

      Delete
    4. let me try….. if i skip sumthing, i'm sorry..

ranvi gets to know the truth abt veera and is very upset... veera thinks its because she lost the rakhi ranvi tied on her. ranvi refuses to even look at veera, nor does he talk to her. veera thinks its all her fault. when ranvi refuses to feed veera, ratan tries to feed her... but veera refuses to eat. she goes upstairs, hearing her footsteps ranvi pretends to sleep. veera tells him that she is very hungry and that he please feed her, but ranvi doesnt budge. she lies down to sleep, and holds ranvi's hand she even sings the lullaby for herself. the nxt morning she dresses herself as the headmaster and wakes ranvi. he says he is not going to school and not argue. veera apologises for loosing the rakhi but ranvi doesnt relent. chai ji gets veera ready for school, and once again ratan tries to feed veera, but she refuses to eat. she requests chaiji to tie her hair like her veer so that if she ever gets scared in school, she'll hold her braid to be reassured. veera packs her bag and purposefully leaves her pencil case lying on the table and hopes her veer ji will come after her to hand it over... ranvi doesnt react to this ploy and veera with drooping shoulders comes back to get her pencil case and then holding her braid she walks off to school. ratan and chai ji watch this sadly. veera walks into nihal who carries her to school. she asks him to do something abt her sad veer ji and he promises to do so. after dropping her at school he forgets to hand over her bag. baldev meanwhile lures veera to the backside of school and treis to threaten her with ghost like voices. wen he was abt to tell her that ranvi is not her brother, nihal comes in to give her bag ( i dunno wat happens den, whether or not baldev is busted). nihaal then comes to meet ranvi, but he doesnt talk to nihal either. instead nihaal requests to use sampoorn's horse, ratan refuses. veera brings down one of sampoorn's trophy, ratan gets damn angry and shouts at her... this goes on with everything. ratan tries to feed veera butter, knowing fully well she is allergic to it. veera complains that the the food is very thika and she wants aloo paratha. ratan scolds her for over acting and refuses to dance to her tunes. ranvi looks disturbed by it all, but doesnt say anything. chai ji comes to veera's defense but ratan doesnt want to hear a word. veera dreams abt ranvi gettin okay and talking with her and tickling her. ratan wakes her up harshly and when she asks what ratan is going to prepare for breakfast for her, ratan says nothing. instead asks what ranvi wants. he walks oss without any response. veera draws cartoons of ranvi but he is not interested.

      Delete
    5. ratan makes veera cut vegetables, ranvi is agitated. so is chai ji but ratan is firm. she also says that veera is pampered a lot and hence talks too much so as punishment she is going to stop her from going to school. she packs her bag and is about to throw it in fire. veera tugs at it and ratan pushes her down. ranvi had had enough. ratan and ranvi have a face off. ranvi accuses ratan of not treating veera properly because she is not her daughter. ratan counters with examples of how bad he has been treating veera ever since he got to know the truth... she said he couldnt accept veera because she is not his sister. ranvi says thats not true. its not that veera is not his sister, he couldnt understand why she is not his sister when he explicitly wrote to rabb asking for one. it doesnt matter to him, she is and always will be his sister (dere were some seriously lengthy heart touching dialogues, m only giving u a gist). ratan sais she behaved badly with veera to show him his mistakes, ranvi says i understand where i went wrong but what you did was wrong. chai ji says she was always proud of ratan for the way she handled all her crisis, but today she is ashamed because ratan is a very selfish mother for whom nothing is more important than ranvi. and to teach him a lesson she has hurt veera. ratan was never veera's mom, and never will be. ranvi and veera reconcile. when ranvi says beeji was very wrong to do all that she did, veera says it was ploy to make him smile. veera regales how beeji and her made this plan to get him well. hearing this both ranvi and chai ji apologise to ratan. ratan tells to chai ji that she was right, the relationship of ranvi nd veera was forged by rabb himself and nothing would come in their way. she may not have whole heartedly accpeted veera as her daughter but she sure accepts her as ranvi's sister, whole heartedly. chai ji says dil ke rishte khoon ke rishotn se badh kar hote hain!!!

i think i covered up everything..

  38. QH - and of course the friend is the shatir demagh wali villan - after all - the hero has to be the blind idiot who is stuck up in his own perceptions and has to read the heroine wrong and all that he does see has to be falsehood which his frozen demagh cannot fathom - specially after some nasha wala episodes (hloi/bhang etc etc)

    1. Mona, J,

Replying to J's comment above too.

Siddiqui...Grrrr...again. I thought that was a different actor- a softer look. (Hubby would know, only he'd refuse to look!)
I guess it will be, since Tanveer turned out to be Billo.

But then, Asad did not recognise Ayan's maamujaan?

      Mona,
Hero has not read just the heroine wrong. He has read everyone wrong. He did say this: 'At least I can trust you', to Tannu. He has a good reason to be upset with Zoya.

They both saw Rashid digging up the body. The doll spoke that he was the murderer...if after all this, she prefers to be blind and support his Ammi who has been blind ALWAYS when it comes to the man she loves...

Asad is actually disappointed that Zoya did not aid him. She tried to delay him instead of teaming up with him. She just showed that she has better faith in his Ammi's judgement than his. If he wants to have nothing to do with her after that- well, who can blame him? What proof does she have that Rashid is innocent that she is supporting him?

To Asad the world is divided into two right now. In this fight of Abbu Vs Asad- not a single one of his loved ones support him. HE IS ALL ALONE! At least he can trust Tannu, he hopes.

The worst part is he is not the only one who is blind to Tanveer. Dilshad has made the same mistake of trusting Tanveer, Zoya too. She simply has not given them a reason to suspect her.
