8th Nov Tues
He wants to see her, yet can't stand to see her - she reminds him of his weakness and his surrender.
She doesn't want to see him, yet can't stay away - he reminds her of her humiliation and heartbreak ... and her first love.
Khushi calls Anjali, tells her she won't be coming, her job is done. Anjali tries to persuade her, Nani has to step in and Khushi can't refuse. Nani says that Khushi has never refused her, and she is a very good girl. Nani and Anjali want to do something special for Khushi - Mami annoyed, Arnav hears that Khushi will come for the last time, and he is losing it - big time!
Anjali says, if it wasn't for Khushi, Arnav would not be getting married ... the start of losing it ... so right Anjali is ... if he hadn't fallen in love with Khushi, hadn't lost control, he wouldn't have felt the need to run and hide from her by agreeing to marrying La.
Khushi doesn't want to go to RM ... why should she go only to hear more insults from him? And yet, perversely, when told ok, don't go, she wants to ... but no, she won't ... the mannat key is not important ...
Arnav - the mixed flashbacks and his words were beautifully done ... as he remembers putting the payal so delicately and gently, his words - don't think I was holding on to it as though to something precious ... oh, yes, he was, he knows it ...
the almost kiss ... his words - it doesn't mean anything ... oh yes, it does, he knows that too ...
Nani ... it's Khushi's last day here ... no, how can she go? Did he finally chase her away? That's what he wanted to do, isn't it?
La wants to gift Khushi something, she's going to miss her ... Arnav can't take it any more. Slams his laptop shut and walks off.
La clueless as usual! Poor girl!
Nani finally ticks off Mami - if it wasn't for Khushi, your son's path would not be clear ... Mami not noticeably put down - that woman has the hide of an elephant!
And Arnav arrives just in time to hear paeans of praise for Khushi from Nani, La and Anjali ... can't we keep her on here somehow?
Arnav lets loose ... he doesn't want to see her again ... Anjali and Nani shocked ... and Khushi overhears, and is upset all over again ... she wants to leave, but Nani stops her, giving a dirty look and snide remark to Arnav ... now why can't she do the same to Mami?
Khushi comes in ... hurt at his words ... why does he have to be so hurtful? Is he angry still?
Nani, Anjali and La give her gifts, Khushi is touched and embarrassed, Mami is her shrewish, insulting self as always ... I really wish Khushi would stop looking SO hurt every time - doesn't she know by now what to expect from Mami? Best way to reply to her is with a stoic look ... like, yes, I know what you think of me, thank you very much. Even a resigned smile ... now that would really put Mami in her place. By showing Mami that she gets to Khushi every time is encouraging her as much as Nani and Anjali do by not saying anything.
Arnav losing it again ... this guy really needs a punching bag now! This time OP ... juice, not coffee ... or is it, coffee, not juice? Doesn't really matter ... Poor Op bends to clean up, is told again to leave ... and waiting ladies downstairs are shocked and wondering ... WHY is Arnav so angry today?
Well, he always was this way, actually ... Khushi had brought a softness to his life ... and now she's going, that softness is going too ... and the difference is so visible now. Earlier his nastiness was taken for granted and accepted ... now they all wonder ...
Except for Khushi ... she knows it's the anger of last night ... when he loses it, he loses it without thinking, on all concerned ... but no, it's none of her business, she makes to follow Nani et al., ... then changes her mind as she looks at Arnav ... standing at the window where he can see her, but ostensibly working away ... slowly, reluctantly, she goes to try one last time ...
Why does she go to see him? To ask him not to take out her gussa on everyone else? To return the mannat ki chaabi? Not too clear ... Before she can say anything, he tells her to leave. She tries once ... he gets angry ... so does she ... how dare she say she doesn't want to talk to him? That's his prerogative?
Arnav, you need a LOT of reformation *sigh*
Holds her by the shoulders again ... she stares back, apprehensive but determined, searching his face ... and he releases her almost violently ... no tears from her this time to make him release his hold, just her determined questioning look is enough to defeat him ...
She stumbles and falls ... hurts herself on the broken glass (very badly shot part ;-)) Looks at him again, but he's turned his back ... no, he's not going to listen, there's no point. She leaves silently.
He says again ... leave ... and turns furiously ... to find her gone ...
She really went? But she knows he does this when he's angry, doesn't she? She will wait for him to cool down, because she knows he will ... eventually ... she'll be there, waiting ...
Will she?
And he sees her leave his house for the last time ... tearful farewell from nani, Anjali and La ... the La farewell was really sweet ... I really hope my dream of seeing La become Khushi's friend even after her breakup will come true ...
Arnav watches her go ... okay, I really like Barun, but his expressions in the last bit made me laugh *rofl* ... he looked mildly puzzled ... not heartbroken ...
Mandir scene tomorrow ... does he rush to the temple with bandage ready? Resourceful man!
