I felt bad for La today. She was genuinely concerned for Khushi, genuinely grateful to her for her help and 'training', genuinely sad to see her go ...
And I felt that she was shocked at Arnav's sudden change from affectionate lover (affectionate for him that is - he held her hand in public, announced their engagement in public) back to broody grouch ASR who didn't want to talk about the marriage any more, and definitely not specifics likes dates. Both Khushi and La don't know where they stand with him ... thanks to his own confusion.
And Arnav realised what he had done ... the enormity of his announcement sank in as he saw La hug Khushi and Khushi smile back happily, and when he heard Khushi say she wouldn't be coming to RM any more, I could feel his heart stop.
The Arshi scene was just amazing ... masks back in place, only he saw hers slip back on this time ... and he couldn't dislodge it, however much he prodded. What did you expect, Arnav? That she would break down and tell you she loved you? She just about realised it herself ... love and heartbreak in successive beats ...
And Arnav? He knows too ... oh yes, he does ... he wants her to tell him why she was crying, why she felt that overwhelming sense of loss that he does ...
He loves her, She loves him. Simple as that.
Buaji irritated me to the core in the last scene and the precap ... for heavens sake woman, if someone is scrawling filth about your girl, get rid of the guy in question, don't tie the girl to him! Just because she's an orphan? Throw your male boarder out - in any case, you had no business keeping a male PG with two young girls in the house.
