Knew that after such a taut week, the next couple of episodes would be fairly ho-hum and full of Shyam. And so we start ...
Brainless Buaji asks Khushi again if she's sure ... lord, woman, after literaaly shouting her into submission, NOW you ask?! Shyam with evil smile ... and Garima and Payal look on helplessly. Come to think of it, it's always been shown that Buaji is the major domo of the house - Garima could never really raise her voice against her. And neither could Shashi babu - not effectively enough, otherwise he would have told his sister from day 1 that he was not interested in getting Khushi marry Shyam. He was also wishy-washy ... so Stupid Sister no. 1 holds sway.
And can't anyone SEE Shashi babu shedding tears at the announcement? Uff!!! This is gonna be torture!
Stupid Sister no 2 - Anjali claims Arnav can never hide anything from her ... in his words, Oh really?! So she senses Arnav is not fully delighted at the prospect of his marriage to La ... but she accepts his words, and attributes it to natural nervousness at the thought of marriage.

The nice part ... when Anjali asks ... tumne yeh faisla dil se liya hai na? and Arnav looks struck ... no, he didn't take this decision from the heart, he took it in anger, in fear ... his heart is telling him something completely different ...
Stupid Sister no. 3 - Although Payal was more empathetic than Anjali, but she is completely ineffectual. The only positive is that she will be a private support to Khushi, although she won't open her mouth in front of SS1. Khushi tries to convince Payal that she is all right, but Payal is not really buying it. She asks, have you thought about it? And Khushi remembers Arnav tying her payal, the almost kiss, and says softly ... some things happen without thinking ...So Khushi does know she loves Arnav now ... does she also know he loves her? And will that make her understand him better? Later, once the shock of realising her own feelings lessens?
Payal asks, are you ready for an engagement? And Khushi remembers Arnav saying yes to La ... that was finally when he was lost to her ... till that moment, she never felt he was truly La's, because he had never said yes to the final committment of marriage. And she remembers Arnav telling her she means less than nothing to him ...
And she gives up completely on her first love ... I'm going to forget all that, I'm not going there again ...
And final words to Payal ... leave it to Devi maiyya ...
Khushi, then start recognising Devi Maiyya's signs ... that poor diety is tired of sending you so many, but you don't see them!
Or maybe she does, which is why she never felt guilty about La ... it's always been just about Arnav and her. A third person held no importance as long as neither of them were committed ... but now he is ... and she will soon be.
Shyam Shashi scenes are seriously pukeworthy and skippable ... he lets out his ugliest inner feelings to Shashi, secure in the knowledge that Shashi can't react. So now Shameless Slimeball needs money from his wife to buy engagement ring for his mistress.

SS no 2 sees Scheming Snake ... but doesn't cotton on ... doesn't suspect anything ... or does she? Nope, not a chance :(((
