5/3 - Epi 48 ... Deadly Plans

Wednesday 5th March

Very brief update today, as there was no Sanaya/Paro at all. So the episode, frankly, was a drag.

Mohini meets the Thakur and clinches the deal. Thakurain fortunately gives him the go-ahead, by telling him he will never have to say sorry to her for anything. That was the crux of the episode.

The rest were filler scenes, where they revived the tracks of  Sumer trying to sell the haveli, and Maithili and Samrat's childless state again.

Precap shows Rudra leaving on an urgent track of Thakur ... so they've kept his disappearance related to the track. Good. But Paro is left defenseless in the house without him ... will that lead to her being kidnapped? Mohini did say, get rid of Rudra first, then I'll give you Paro.

  1. Few things got cleared today, Thakur's love of power and himself supersedes everything. He will kill his step son with no guilt towards his wife.

Mala is totally taken up by the charm of Thakur.

Mohini is consumed in her jealousy, greed and need for revenge to such an extent that all is fair, including taking two lives.

Really hope Paro becomes the central piece of storytelling soon, too little of her this week. Episode was not bad considering the situation, but dragged at few places for obvious reasons.

    1. Yep, Uma, Thakur and Mohini are both the villains ... it's a toss up as to who is the bigger one. Mohini is ruthless in her greed ... she is ready to sacrifice her nephew, who is a blood relative. No wonder Thakur called her stone hearted. Thakur is no better ... he has no personal relationship with Rudra, except for one of enmity ... but he has absolutely no compunction in conspiring against his beloved wife's son, despite knowing her love for him, and despite promising her that he would help her meet Rudra.

Interesting part is, both villains are plotting against each other ... or Tejawat is plotting against Mohini ... and I guess between them, Rudra will manage to create the rift and walk away the victor. But that will happen only once Paro teams up with him ... because in his current state of mind, he is only thinking about Paro and no one else. PaRud need to be together to defeat the villains ... I hope that's the way the makers plan to take this story.

One last thought ... is Mala so blind in her love for Thakur because on the surface, he is such a contrast to Dilsher? Dilsher is rough tongued, handicapped, alcoholic, of average means despite the haveli ... Tejawat is suave, sophisticated, good looking, rich, classy ... is there some truth in Mohini's accusations that Mala could not take the rough life with Dilsher?

So many layers to be unravelled yet ... but I need more focus on Paro, and her contribution to unravelling those layers.

  2. True U, Thakursa is a delicious villain and his narcissism begets him :-)) koi shikayat nahin. Got to catch final telecast of yesterday's epi and it was enjoyable. Granted they cannot go on too long without the leads, but hopefully the focus will shift to Sanaya plus other members.
