The canteen scene with Samrat expressing his feelings was a bit of a let down - I expected better, because he had great dialogues. Mohit needs to work on his dialogue delivery - sometimes his words are not clear and that takes away from his performance. Also I was bit surprised at his suddne change from heartbroken to happy - very quick! I guess they want to get back to the masti - bahut rona dhona ho gaya!

Liked the Morena scene - but then I love both the girls, and when they interact, they're even better! So glad to see Gunjan smiling - I think they're doing it very well - happy to be back, but both still have the shadows lurking in their eyes. Beautiful!

Mayank and mom - hmm. Better than the last few, at least, Mayank had some snappy dialogues and good comebacks, but somehow I just don't enjoy him as much as I did earlier. Find him too bland! Also I am disappointed with his mom insisting on filminess from him - mother filmy, girlfriend filmy - what chance does he have not to become filmy?! The one good thing his mom did was to point out that he can give gifts to Nupur to win her - all girls like gifts! And he hasn't actually given her anything yet - except for that apology of a date, where everything went wrong. It doesn't have to be expensive - just meaningful.

Compare that to Samrat - Gunjan is not even his girlfriend yet and he's given her a bracelet, a coffee mug, a phone, a dancing couple globe, flowers galore and a deflated basketball. On second thoughts, ignore the basketball! Oh and the sweet letters and notes for a 'friend' during the secret friend phase. He really is a sweetheart. As for meaningful gifts - he just gives her a single flower at every important occasion in her life, making it so special.
