DMG season 2

Watched DMG today after the leap.
Atul - a joy to watch, great actor!
Nikki - Abhi - nice, I was never such a fan, but they are watchable.
The new gang -
Sid - good actor, needs to tone down a bit, tends to overact
Naina - good expressions, reminds me of Sanaya in MJHT but needs voice modulation, which is Sanaya's main strength. Also needs to tone down her hair gestures, but I think she will shape up. She looks good so far and her character is interesting, perky and fun, can hold her own.
Yuvraj - hmm, wasn't impressed the first few glimpses, but watched a whole episode first time today - he may shape up. Nothing arresting though. His character again is interesting - hope he can do justice to it.
JP - okay, seems a good fit for his role.
Tamanna - the weakest of the lot, according to me. Needs to improve her expressions, her voice, dialogue delivery. As it is, she has the kind of character I don't like, that of a weak, ready to cry kind of girl, but her being Umar bhai's daughter is a good twist. Her character is a bit like Gunjan's, but Sanaya has done wonders with that role, so let's see if Tamanna can do as well. But needs to improve a lot.
Why, oh why, do all creatives on Indian shows HAVE to have a sati savitri kind of girl as a heroine? Especially in youth based shows, and even when they're educated doctors, for heavens' sake! I have seen docs from modest backgrounds at work - no one is like that! And you shoudl set standards and make role models for the audience! Make Tamanna strong and confident - go on! And unashamed of her background - then I will really appreciate her.

Almost forgot - precap - Yuvi saving Naina from gundas ... yawn ... haven't we seen this before?
