Paro the Gentle ... no protests, no questions, a quiet calmness ... not even a whimper of protest about her injured ankle ...
She notes Rudra take a sip of her water ... check it ... to protect her.
Paro can taunt almost as well as Mohini kaaki ... all this care because she is his only witness?
Rudra thanks god her brain started functioning again.
Aman brings her peti of clothes ... because Rudra told him she needs clothes.
Aman surprised and worried about Rudra's decision to bring Paro to the BSD camp, the baraat shooting case is being reopened, with investigation against Rudra ... Rudra tries to explain that he didn't have any choice ... father ... mangetar ... long story ...
Aman is not quick enough to hide his grin ... seeing his boss fumble for words is a rare treat.
Danveer is not quite as henpecked as we thought ... or as Mohini would like ... he warns Mohini that she will reap what she sows ... be it honor and goodness ... or avarice and hatred. Mohini is not impressed. And the ropes are down.
Sumer is up to his tricks ... but Mohini, for all her love for her children, is not a blind mother ... zinger of the day ... receipt do pair pe chal ke aayi, ya chaar pair pe?

Dilsher unhappy at being hauled around like luggage by his son. He loves Rudra in his own gruff way, and Rudra cares for him too ... but all softness, all gentleness is missing in their lives.
Maithili emotionally blackmails Dilsher into agreeing to stay back at the haveli ... Dilsher experiences again the care that a daughter-in-law can bring into a home.
Rudra gets back to his room, to find Paro asleep on the floor, a rag tied around her swollen foot.
Paro the Gentle ... no complaints, no tears. A calm acceptance of all the pain he brings in her life.
Rudra the Protector ... he will look after his Paro till the end of time.

Why the hesitation, the tentativeness in the touch, the way he moves her feet to tuck in the water bottle in just the right way ...the blanket ... why the long look as she turns, slightly smiling in her sleep? Why does he look at her as she sleeps, as though he cannot tear his gaze away?
In the morning, Paro wakes up ... wondering where she is ... the bed? the blanket? her foot is better ... but the water bottle?
Both seeing a new side of the other ... a different shade ... the hate, the anger, rises and ebbs, and each time the ebbing tide leaves something in its wake ...
Rudra in the market place ... and a man is making inquiries about Paro from Birpur.
Rudra rushes back to the room ... and whirls a startled Paro behind him to shield her from the intruder ... Rudra the Protector.

So Paro gets to know that Rudra's mom left him as a child. Slowly she is getting to know more about him ... also she sees how his kaaki taunts him and Dilsher all the time. Let's see how Paro reacts ... she is bound to change her mind about Rudra slowly as she sees more of his family life. Maybe that will lead her to fall in love with him.

ReplyDeleteI like three out of the five mentioned here ... Rudra-Paro of course, also like Lajjo-Nikhil from GD, despite all the loops and flaws in the plot, and Krystle-Karan of ENP are a sweet pair as well.
DeleteHaven't seen enough of BI to comment on chemistry of Harshad-Preetika, though they look good together, but it's become too saas bahu for me ... haven't watch the fifth show at all.
