The last throw of the dice for Mohini kaaki ... pressure Rudra with a wedding date, into accepting that his engagement is false, Paro is here under false pretenses, and throw all three out of the house.
A bit confused ... she can throw Paro out, why do Rudra and Dilsher have to leave?
The last throw of the dice for Rudra ... use the early wedding date to pressure Paro into signing her witness testimony ... betraying her village folks has to be preferable to what is tantamount to a death sentence for her - marriage to him.
In both cases, poor Paro suffers for no fault or guilt of her own ... used as a pawn by a jealous, frustrated, bitter woman, and a frustrated, angry, bitter man ...
Poor Paro had faith that Rudra will want the marriage as little as she did ... Dilsher was equally sure he would find a way out too. But Dilsher didn't count on the added pressure on Rudra from the BSD ... four days to a court martial.
In the rest of the episode ... Dilsher expresses to Danveer what exactly the BSD means to Rudra ... his life, his junoon, his only reason for living after all the bitterness in his life ... losing it will be the end of the world to him.
And it seems it really is ... the threat of losing it is enough to tip Rudra almost over the edge.
Paro can't hide her fears from Maithili, and Maithili remembers belatedly how Paro supported her ... and tries to comfort her ... see how Rudra supported you when kaaki was attacking you, he has a heart and one day it will beat for you.
So will Rudra really go through with a marriage? Or is this his last throw of the dice to force Paro into signing that document? Seizing the opportunity that Mohini has handed him on a platter?
Ashish had said that people will hate Rudra and that will mean he's doing his job well. Ashish, you're doing your job well ... for the first time, I hated Rudra today.

A lovely article on Sanaya ... and so true! :)

Dia,
ReplyDeleteI like the acting of the cast but in terms of screenplay it is becoming a bit one sided for my liking over the past few episodes. The one thing I really want to see is journey of BOTH Rudra and Paro. If Rudra is in agony living in that haveli, with past memories and caustic Mohini than Paro too is captive and under threat.
So, I did not enjoy today's episode it was reiterating the same theme. Rudra's loss, his desperation , his pain. We understood that yesterday, today seemed like a justification to what he will put Paro through from tomorrow.
What about Paro desperation, fears and hurt, CVs decided she won't cry but she still has emotions.
I liked Monday's episode a lot more because of the balance. Hope to see Paro fight this tooth and nail, even if she loses in the end.

Forgot to mention, what I enjoyed today was Rudra turning tables on Mohini and the look on her face was priceless!

Agree, Uma, that's what I feel too ... and the scene between Danveer and Dilsher was put in to justify Rudra blackmailing Paro for marriage, by showing how much his job meant to him. Which is fine, but that doesn't justify Rudra's blackmailing tactics anyway, he is still a desperate man pushed to the brink, trying to use an innocent victim for his own selfish ends - retaining his job is his selfish motive, whichever way you look at it. If that scene was put in to justify Rudra's move, it didn't work for me, on the contrary it lowered him in my esteem.
ReplyDeleteI hope they keep the balance ... another hero with mommy issues using an innocent girl is nothing new ... I much preferred the Rudra who could not bring himself to harm Paro, and was her protector despite himself ... I now want Paro to slowly start turning the tables. So far she has been the quieter, but stronger one, but the quiet ones don't make for big drama ... she needs to start fighting back more strongly.
Yep, Rudra turning the tables on Mohini, and landing her with the cost of financing his wedding was good to see. Again he shut her up ... that lady never learns, does she?! The only one who can shut Rudra up is Paro !!!
after seeing the episode, this is what i have to say: well done, ashish! that moment when rudy's utter confusion at mohini's new toofan turned to comprehension and then deviousness, and then swag.. his face perfectly exported the character's feelings.
ReplyDeleteI for one, dont think parvati is undersupported in the storytelling. she is in a tight situation.. the scene with jija clearly showed her turmoil and fear, and noted the fact that the housemates are aware of her apprehension, even if they dont know the cause. the scene with bapusa showed her underlying emotion.. her terror at even the possibility of a wedding, least of all to the jallad.
i think dilsher overacted in the bablu scene, but the dialogues conveyed what they were meant to: rudra would go to any length to provide evidence of his good intentions in the shootout (ha) . sad to say that the army did not find any evidence of the heavily armed men of the baraat, nor the cash payment /weapons they were carrying during the encounter...(did the CVs forget?) no evidence indeed!! (glare)
and aman!! why he no testify (pout).
well, logic has no place in SKD.
now he is going to terrorise paro into signing the document, to free her from the wedding plans. will she? NEVER. i'm really looking forward to watching the future story.
Dia,
ReplyDeleteI go with Jaya on Paro. The CV's will not make Paro defending Thakur and villagers as we the audience know that he's evil. But They showed glimpses of her inner turbulence with Maithyli and Dilsher's scene. I loved Paro on monday, Yesterday she was quite. I'm waiting for Paro Rudra confrontation ...She's strong but I too hope she'll fight tooth and nail with Rudra..As off now i'm enjoying it. But cv's can tone Mohini a bit...she spits venom and taunts Maithyli 24*7...that's too much to bear.
