One of the hottest couples of small screen, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal are all set to
tie the knot today (25 January) in Goa. The couple is already at their destination wedding
location and the wedding fever has caught the guest’s fancy.
Yesterday, the couple arranged for a cocktail party for their close friends. Barun Sobti,
Riddhi-Raqesh Vashisht, Arjun Bijlani and Drashti Dhami were seen making merry at the do.
Dressed in a pink crop top and a floral skirt, Sanaya looked beautiful. As for Mohit, he looked
regal wearing Jodhpuri pyjama paired with a brown jacket.
According to the buzz, “The popular TV stars danced the night away on Bollywood songs like
Gulabon, Jumme Ki Raat, Gandi Baat, London Thumka, Amritsari Chudiyaan and more.
The night though was brought to an end with some popular English numbers. Today the
festivity will kick off with Mohit’s haldi ceremony followed by the grand wedding. It will be
a typical big fat Punjabi wedding where Mohit will be wearing a sherwani and Sanaya will be
decked up in a pink lehenga.”
As per rumours the wedding is taking place at a plush beach resort, Planet Hollywood located
in South Goa.

Adored by millions of fans across the world and voted as the second sexiest Asian woman in the world, Sanaya Irani was born to rule hearts. We loved her as Khushi Kumari Gupta in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and as Paro in Rangrasiya, so it is indeed a special moment to see Sanaya tie the knot with her beau, Mohit Sehgal.
Here are some of the details of the wedding that took place in Planet Hollywood Beach Resort in Goa. Sanaya looked resplendent in a gold lehenga teamed with a red veil. A bright red lip added a splash of colour. She also wore gajra in her hair. A true-blue serial bahu, we say!
A special stage was set up on the private beach that adjoins the hotel. The rituals got completed quite fast. Everyone reportedly remarked that Sanaya's mehendi was quite dark. As per buzz, everyone got quite emotional when Mohit put the sindoor and mangalsutra on Sanaya. Another highlight was the saat phere. In normal situations, the wife walks behind the husband. However, here, they walked together round the fire holding hands. Everyone cheered them and showered their blessings on the couple. Apparently, Barun Sobti felt the heat and went inside quickly.
The actress' bestie Drashti Dhami donned a white shirt with a patterned blouse at the do. She kept her makeup minimal and wore oversized shades to beat the heat. Gold seemed to be a favourite colour as Riddhi Dogra also wore a dull gold saree with a ruby necklace

'Subah Hone Naa Raat Sone Naa De'; yes this is what the couple kept singing during the entire occasion. Decked up in pink cropped top and a floral skirt, Sanaya looked beautiful; whereas Mohit Sehgal was spotted wearing Jodhpuri pyjama with a cropped brown colored jacket.

TV's cutest couple, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal have been dating for more than 5 years now. And, now the duo is all set to tie the knot on January 25 in Goa.
The much-in-love couple had their sangeet ceremony on January 24 in Planet Hollywood Hotel, Goa. The beautiful bride-to-be Sanaya Irani wore a fluorescent colored skirt with a pink blouse and fiance Mohit, sported a jodhpuri kurta pyjama with a brown jacket.
The sangeet ceremony was a star-studded affair with family and celebrity friends having a ball. Bollywood music was played in the function and the guests couldn't stop themselves from dancing throughout the night.
Celebs from the TV fraternity who joined the couple in the celebrations included 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' fame Drashti Dhami, Barun Sobti, Raqesh Vashishth, Kinshuk Mahajan and Arjun Bijlani.
The couple is getting married on January 25 in a Punjabi style wedding. Sanaya will be wearing a Roshni Chopra designed outfit while Mohit will wear a tuxedo.
The family and friends of Sanaya-Mohit looked absolutely thrilled about the wedding and it looked like a 'Big Fat Indian Wedding' on the beach.
As TV Times reported earlier, it will be a beach wedding, the preparations are under progress. The serene set-up on the beach looks straight out of a fairy tale.
The way to the wedding gate has a board which reads "This way to our happily ever after". Well, the wedding surely seems to be like the movies.

Mohit seems as besotted with her as he was back then, San has calmed down, but is still pretty much a madcap! I will add all the links here or in the next post ... the media coverage has been pretty huge! Had to be ... Sanaya is such a big TV star now!

Deleteyess..Mohit does seem to love her exactly as much as he did 6 yrs ago and vice versa! :) were it someone else who was probably jealous of her success as an actor and of her sizzling chemistry with other costars she would ahve definitely not seemed so calm and wouldnt ahve taken such a big decision... so glad she found someone who understands her to this level and so glad that she is also able to be just herself around him and will motivate him to follow his heart (if not acting maybe somewhere else) coz thats the most endearing thing abt her for him.. they still look the same couple that attracted me towards them - their simplicity above everything else.. have to mention both of Sanaya's attires for the wedding - nothing extravagant, but something very very simple and comfortable for her.. and yet she looked ravishing in them, like she always does..
I miss those CC days where we spent hours discussing them and dissecting their segments.. and yet to see them now reach this stage in their relationship, somehow makes me feel so happy from within.. :)
