MUMBAI: Here we are back with the latest BARC India ratings!

This time Sony TV has given a tough fight to other GECs and has bagged the number one position followed by Star Plus and Colors.

In rural areas, Zee Anmol, Star Utsav and Dangal TV are the most viewed channels.

I am even happier to see Sony fiction shows inching upwards ... they are infinitely preferable to the Daayans, Nazars, Tantras and other such supernatural stuff. All three that I watch are stable or have inched upwards, so have the ones I don't watch ... CGM, Sai and Yeh Un Dinon.

Qayamat ki Raat has sunk, Nazar is still doing okay - I believe it is now a story about supernatural saas-bahu clash ... yuck! Hope it sinks soon.

The surprise is that KZK2 has dropped ... quite significantly ... it managed to reach the top ten last week, but is out this week.

Colors making slight recovery on the back of its weekend shows ... KK makes a great start, and Naagin still doing well.

Sanaya has wrapped up the shoot of Ghost in London and is now in Chicago with her sister. Rumor is that she has another shoot schedule in February, and Ghost will release in May. VB insta has already started promos. I wonder whether it will be a web release or a cinema release ... am happy either way.
