Interviews with Sanaya and Sana ... Sanaya met her match ... someone who talks even more than she does! Had to skip some of Sana's parts to reach Sanaya. I am also glad that Sanaya is interviewing alongside someone with definite opinions and the ability to voice them ... with her usual IPK friends and mohit, San is the most vocal, none of them usually have much to say, or add anything original to what Sanaya says, mohit toh just echoes her thoughts. So it was nice to see that San had to think  and answer ... her grey cells had to kick into action! And it was good to see her make the effort to add something different to what Sana said. She really needs to meet with more people in the industry, people with higher intellect than her hubby and pack of wolves, who are all, sorry to say, very low IQ. 

Watched first six episodes of Zindabaad till now ... comments are based on these. 

The first fifteen minutes of episode 1 was setting the stage for the story, but it was frankly an overdose of Vikram Bhatt ... fortunately Sanaya enters at that stage, and things start looking up.

I have to say ... seeing the trailer, I was very impressed with Sana, and thought she might overshadow San ... but in the show ... no way. Sanaya holds her own effortlessly ... she is calm, her acting is subtle, she emotes with her eyes, and very subtle changes of facial expression ... and as usual her dialogue delivery is down pat ... including the occasional swear words! :)  It is such a pleasure to watch her back on screen! Vikram Bhatt is a good actor, though not extraordinary ... he has the hero's role, and a very large one ... I found myself looking forward to the scenes with the rest of the cast when he had been on screen a bit too long! 

The RAW office scenes are good, the cast is all very good ... I love Aniruddh and Sanaya's chemistry ... they both played off each other beautifully ...  her scenes with Pankaj Dheer are also great ... so are her scenes with Nandini. Loved seeing her in this business-like working avatar ... would love to see her do  more roles like this. An astute businesswoman caught in a web of intrigue and deceit ... after this role, I can just picture Sanaya doing something like that ... and on the web, it is a possibility, unlike on TV. All the actors are good ... I really like Aniruddh, and Pankaj Dheer of course is a very experienced actor. Irfan is hiding some secrets ... I do hope he's not the ISI mole ... I like him!!! 

The ISI and Pakistan scenes are also good ... brought out how the mullahs and ISI are both playing the common man for their power games ... the ISI chief is another good actor, the actor playing the villain mullah is also good. Al Maghribi was good too ... started off a little stiff, but grew into his role. 

Story is a bit predictable ... along the lines of Baby ... but has been done very well, the presentation is like a movie, with the advantage that it's longer, so the characters can be explored in more depth and fleshed out better.
