Another SBS segment, obviously part of the same segment as the V Day one ...
According to these, SP is on, Gul is on, Barun is on ... Sanaya remains to be convinced. What a turnaround from 2011, when Gul had to convince SP to take Sanaya... now SP and Gul have to convince Sanaya to accept a show! All I need is for SP to insist on 'no Sanaya, no show' ... then the wheel will indeed have come full circle. God willing and fingers crossed.
Sanaya clears the air that she has no idea about IPK continued ... so that was a figment of IF's over-active imagination.
However, the same day, after this segment aired, the reporter Arti issued a series of tweets ...

Hi Dia, I think from now on I will visit here for Sanaya news. Much better than IF. Love it that Sanaya has to be convinced. If she does agree I hope she negotiates a tough "pro Sanaya" contract.

DeleteAlso heard a couple of people discuss that maybe the reason San doesn't want to do the Gul show is because it's male-centric ... like all Gul shows are. In which case, I will be happy if she doesn't do it at all, and does something totally different.
From the segment, San seems relaxed and happy ... since this part was all about her work, I'm guessing she is very much in talks and discussions, but hasn't zeroed in on anything she likes yet. Since she is obviously ready and eager to get back to work, it's just a matter of time till she does.
And yes ... I hope she negotiates a tough 'pro-Sanaya' contract too ... don't want a show folding because one idiot wants to quit. TRPs are something we can't do much about sadly ... just pray her next show is a TRP hit, that's all. so we can see her for a good long time.
I am happy, though not surprised, that Sanaya is not interested in any of the naagin and daayan shows, despite knowing they're selling like hot cakes these days. She's not interested in TRPs, she wants a good show.
So happy for Sanaya that she is at this point in her career where she gets to call the shots, she gets to choose what she wants to do. Would love to quote Tamil actor Vijay's dialogue which exactly means what you said in your article.
ReplyDeleteI think her role was the one that was most butchered but Sanaya still held her own and made us all love her and Khushi even though all the importance was being given to ASR/Arnav and Barun.

SS, you know IPK is still remembered as the Khushi show ... I guess that just shows how memorable Sanaya made Khushi ... despite all the importance being given to the male lead. Even her director said the same thing ... no grand entry, no memorable scenes, yet Sanaya made every Khushi scene memorable. That's a huge thing for a director to say about his actor ... a big tribute for any actor.

Kudos Sanaya . This is girl power. An amazing actress who has not been given her due. She reminds me of Aamir Khan, They deliver good quality of work but never awarded. Anybody who acts along with her is awarded, be it Ashish or Barun, Good that Sanaya like viz does not worry about thie

what rr deserved,it got as a dubbed version,paro-rudra fav characters [even barc data says this.],there was no need for a leap at all.
hope colors/ST/muktha dondh see this and realise their folly.
