Manmarzian ... don't know why Neil got so angry ... well, I do understand him getting angry, because Sam asked him to make sure she stays away from Arjun ... and the next thing he sees is Sam and Arjun bringing Samrat to the party, apparently together. Followed by the Sam-Arjun hug. So no wonder Neil is annoyed as heck ... but wasn't he being overly possessive? And also quite unobservant ... he didn't notice that Sam was deeply upset about something, and on the verge of tears. Since he's known Sam for so long, and is such a good friend, found his insensitivity surprising ... guess the cv's had to get Samaira to leave the house somehow, to meet up with Radhika.
I am liking the Sam-Arjun chemistry. I thought Kashmira was an okay actress ... but she was very good today. Her expressions when she hears her mother blame her for her brother's death were so good ... her anguish, her closed eyes, the silent tears ... and the single tear when she remembers the scene ... she is lost in that anguishing memory and Neil's tirade just washes over her like water off a duck's back ... she doesn't even register what he's saying, except for that slight ironical smile when he mentions Arjun ... he is so far from the truth.
Ahem tends to be a little wooden at times, but he's good for the most part. Is he beginning to sympathise with Sam and feel bad for her, despite himself ... or is he still playing a part?
The guy playing Neil is good, and getting better.
The girl playing Radhika is very bland ... why does SP always get these newbie girls who can't act?! She is a poor actress ... forgiveable, since it's her first show ... but she's also very bland and childish ... should blame partly the script and partly her poor acting.
Reporters .. missed the first few minutes as well as the last couple of episodes, so couldn't figure out who the girl is, whom Ananya has brought home. Did gather she was a drug addict, in the clutches of a dealer, and Ananya managed to get her out.

i'm really touched by star's gesture of inviting sarun as arshi to SPA this year,i mean people have no idea but i know thousands to lakhs of people still live in the nostalgia of ipk,watching epis[dubbed/original],reading ffs.i seriously hope both of them attends,atleast as a tribute to the show and the people who made them what they are today.kudos SP!
so i watched manmarziyan,iknmp was really boring.i dont understand why sanaya refused sam's role,its a good one really,kashmira is doing it fine.ahem sharma's character is negative/layered or both?i found neil more pleasant.radhika is typical,just OK.but tell me who's paired up against whom?is it sam-arjun/sam-neil/radhika-arjun/radhika-neil?i was really confused.the actors playing sams' parents are good too.
talking abt jdj,heard radhika madan would be taking part and shes a trained dancer and dance instructor too.

DeleteWho told you that Sanaya refused Samaira's role? Kashmira was the first person finalised for Mmz, she has worked with the PH earlier and was their first choice. I don't think San was ever offered the role or the show. Never heard that from any credible source at all ... or any source, credible or otherwise.
I wish she had been ... but the role of Sam, not Radhika ... it's a very good role, and Kashmira is playing it very well, but Sanaya would have brought an added layer of vulnerability to Sam. If she was offered Radhika, I can very well understand why she turned it down ... Radhika is not anything new ... or maybe the actress is not able to make it very different.
I don't know who is paired up with whom, but it seems very obvious that Sam-Arjun are one jodi ... they have had the maximum scenes together and they have awesome chemistry. After ages I found a show where I don't want to miss a single episode, and I actually watch the repeat. So I guess Radhika-Neil are the second jodi. I find Sam, Arjun and Neil good ... Radhika doesn't have the spark yet ... but the way she fought off the goonda last night and then the meeting with Sam in the office was good ... though she is still the weakest actress.
JDJ ... they always have one trained dancer ... who never wins ... so I am easy about Radhika Madan taking part. They also always have one youngster from the kids' dance show, that is Faisal this time. I am more worried about the Parth guy ... he is not a good dancer, from reports, but he is very popular among the youngsters. If you are in India, be prepared to spend some money on voting for Sanaya!!!
Looking forward to seeing San in SPA ... that's a very nice gesture from Star to invite her and barun ... I'm hoping like mad that she attends and gets the maximum applause, so Star gets her back pronto! Yep, am still hoping for San to return to Star after JDJ is over.

I'm in India.but I've heard of this party samarthan,he's a wild craze among all those teens globally,sbs had to cover a special report to assure his fans that he is not quitting I remember. So that's something to worry about.but I dunno how many non-mtv watchers know him?I don't watch any MTV shows,u just don't like it.

But his fans are mostly the younger lot, and voting by SMS is not cheap ... so let's see how it goes. I won't be in India when JDJ airs, worse luck ... but I will vote online as much as I can, of course.
DeleteRe Manmarzian ... I don't think it's will be Radhika-Arjun ... not from the way they are going so far. Arjun's entire attention is to Sam ... unless she dies and Radhika wants to avenge her, it's Sam-Arjun for sure.
Nope, haven't watched any BV for ages ... stopped watching IKNMP since i started liking Mmz ... so right now it's Mmz, and occasionally Reporters. Also stopped watching Ganga ... Dadi trying to stop Ganga studying and Ganga falling into her trap was bugging me too much.
Anyway, am too busy these days to watch anything much ... two shows is all I can manage as of now. :)
So the Sam-Radhika dosti starts ... and Zubin and his sidekick girl get over their dushmani towards Radhika. And Radhika, like typical do-gooder SP queen, wants to sort out the Sam-Neil rift.

DeleteThey were dost, then they became dushman ... now dost again. Mmz has now gone down the tubes, Radhika is like any SP bahu-beti, always right ... and the actress is very boring. I like the other three actors much better, but SP seems to be going the 'glorify Radhika' path ... so am losing interest. Stopped watching it because of my move ... don't know if I will pick it up again.
