Sony back to 1!!! Not bad ... Kapil and Super Dancer doing really well, both in top 5 ... but for once the fiction shows are holding their own too. Five shows are 1 and above, which for Sony is a big deal ... Ladies Special and Crime Patrol are both at 0.8. Maayke is doing the worst at 0.7. There was a time when Sony shows got 0.2/0.3 ratings ... heck, Gul's Humsafars with Harshad got 0.3. This is a good turnaround! Star Bharat shows are actually similar or slightly better, but without Kapil or Super Dancer to pull the channel up.
Colors has Naagin and KKK9 to pull it up, but its fictions shows are all struggling, at the same level as Sony or less. SP gets its act together with fiction ... no weekend shows are doing well, the Voice is at 1.4 ... but it does have 3-4 fictions shows at 2+ or high 1+
The trps seem to have dropped this week ... wonder if there is some change in calibration, or people are actually switching more to the net.
Still no news of Sanaya. Vikram Bhatt held an IG chat where he confirmed that Ghost would release in May, and the shoot for Zindabad 2 would start as soon as Sidhhant was free. Still waiting for news on San's 4 Lions web show ... and hope we get news of another new project soon. She has been quite quiet since she got back home ... may be upset because of the news of Raqesh and Riddhi break up ... or maybe something else. Hope all is well with her, and we get some work news soon.
Started watching 4 Shots on Amazon prime ... have watched the first episode so far. Nice to see an urban women oriented story online ... Mirzapur and Sacred Games, while good, were not really my cup of tea ... too much gangster stuff for me. This one does have some unnecessary sex and bad language, but at least it is more relateable. There is quite a lot of Hindi content online ... need to watch more. It is much better than what we have on Indian TV these days for sure.
