The makeup artist posted  a very short glimpse of the promo shoot - not very clear, but her eyes are as impish and mischievous as ever, and she seems to be enjoying herself thoroughly!

Mumbai: Sanaya Irani had been on a sabbatical after Rangrasiya' but is now back with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' in a new avatar. The petite actress recently shot for the promo of the reality show to be judged by B'town heartthrob Shahid Kapoor.

A source told Deccan Chronicle that Sanaya's performance has been an entertainer. "Sanaya did Ganpati (street) dance when asked to include her style in the shoot for her Ganpati dance performance that entertained everybody on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa promo shoot," said the source.

Sanaya Irani: This girl-next-door with a huge fan following will be also seen showing off her dance moves in the celebrity dance reality show 'Jhalak'. Buzz is that Colors was trying to get her on the show for a long time now and this season everything fell into place. Sanaya gained huge popularity with her role in 'Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon'. There has been no looking back after that for Sanaya. With a fan base as strong as hers, she is being considered as one of the strong contestants of the show.

Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa season 8 is all set to roll out soon on Colors (BBC).

And if sources are to be believed, the show will go on floors from 29 June and most expectedly hit screens from 11 July.

Now, there has been speculation pertaining to the judges this season. Madhuri Dixit is out for sure and there have been reports of Shahid Kapoor being roped in this time.

“Talks are on with Shahid. Karan Johar is on board for two months and we hear choreographer Ganesh Hegde has been signed as the permanent judge,” said our source.

However, another source of ours informed that Ganesh is definitely in talks with the channel but not as a judge but may be as a power performer or mentor of sorts.

“Channel is trying to bring in a new angle to spice up things”, said the source.

When we spoke to Ganesh’s manager Sanjeev he said, “Nothing has been finalized yet.”

Channel spokesperson chose not to divulge any information.

The contestants for this season are Sanaya Irani, Vivian Dsena, Ashish Choudhry, Dipika Samson, Kavita Kaushik, Sargun Mehta, Shamita Shetty, Parth Samthaan, Radhika Madan among others.
