VLR resumes errand boy duties, offering drinks to NK nd nani, who give cold shoulder....this is noticed by anji, and VLR plays patient pati to hilt and takes over videographer duties
Khushi's father is brought out and he is angry on seeing VLR, Garima steps in to explain to bauji that Khushi has said that circumstances have changed now....*truly head desk moment*
Buaji does not look pleased, VLR, hopes the old man won't put a spanner in the works
rasam begins with Khushi getting blessings from her father and having haldi applied on her arms, Arnav also gets haldi applied
Pervert videographer leches at Khushi which is noticed by NK, drawing his expression of disgust, anji dumb as usual

DeleteLooking at it realistically, there is bound to be some distance/ reeling under shock for Arnav if he discovers that G is OW.....thats a natural reaction.......i realistically expect the man to be anything but civil.....
There are principally two ways to go about it, and they do come with their set of suspension of belief prerequisites
1)Pre-marriage dhamaka.....Arnav will not know anything becos
Khushi will alone witness DD_G convo, DD threatening G to tell Arnav....she will decide to move away on d-day chupke se without telling anyone......K has visions of A hating that woman dialogue
Arnav goes crazy.....and track can continue on what he does to get her back....of course..yahan TRPs mein kya hoga i can't say becos there will be physical Separation for some time but the track can be made engaging if they show the past unveiling and Arnav using his brains to find out what went wrong......
2) Post marriage...
Here the dhamaka happens after marriage....Arnav reels under shock....Khushi senses him moving away from her so she can decide to go away OR she can continue to stay but there will be an emotional distance between them and they work individually to set things right....
what will they choose is the question.......
The Shyam track can be kept in abeyance if he has no role to play in their past....if he has....I feel that will come to light only at the end of the track becos the real Shyam will be unveiled to all then....and probably they will start the Dilemma track for Arnav where Anji is not yet out of the woods and Shyam is a terror on their premises.....
NET TO NET...SR kept at abeyance until everything is solved one or they have an SR and no further martital relationship...until a new set of conflict can be conceived.....

Arnav and Khushi are getting married so Khushi can have the social closure and acceptance of their relationship and Arnav can have his suhaag raat. If I recall that hallway scene, Arnav clearly said, that if this is what it takes for you all to accept us as husband and wife so be it!
As far as he was concerned, she is his wife. And she has accepted him as her husband whatever the world may say.
When they got married in February, there was mohabbat beneath the layers of Nafrat. Today the mohabbat has maanged to gradually find crevices in that rock of nafrat, find it way up, take root and grown into a sapling. Now the phase is all about Mohabbat door jaane na de.
But yes, their setiny is such that their love will time and again be tested so there will be hurdles and some nafrat. If the marriage does nto happen, teh family will not want to accept them as husband and wife and allow them to stay together.
Anjali will always be their ring bearer. The bride and groom as they wait at the altar, will have the ring brought to them by her. Di's happiness is paramount to both. Yday Shyam when feeding Anjali apples (fruit of sin)said, soon your brother will be married, the mahoul "ambience" of the entire house will change and most of all you will be very happy. Well if her mind changes about bringing Khushi home and she tries to do a Oh you called my hubby back for my happiness so for your happiness I will have your wife back, I hoep Arnav politely refuses the offer. Just like he remained silent when she came to talk to him about forgivign Khushi supposedly. He had forgiven her long before that. Arnav should bring Khushi to RM or not bring her depending on what she chooses. Arnav told Khushi when tehy went for the date that he will never force Khushi to do something that she does not want to do. Currently anything he has been doing is for her and I hope the trend continues.

ReplyDeleteI for one am least bothered whether the pheras happen or not because this couple will never let go of each other's hands. They wouldn;t when there was ignorance and hate between them and today knowing the deep love they have how will they.
Khushi's mehendi being pheeki and mehendi theek karna - happened to catch a scene in Kya Hua Tera Vaada where the female lead says, when we go married, the mehendi and your name in it was all I could see. Today when the mehndi has faded away, I realized there are lines of destiny that dictate me to have some trying moments in life. And as far as ArHi go, these lines however tumultuous are deeply entwined with each other. Mehendi pheeki yaa ghaadi hui toh kya jab lakeeron ka iraada hai saath nibhaane ka, phir kaayanaat ki kya jurrat in lakeeron ko mitaane ka..
The love this couple shares, their sacrifices are no secret to NK and Nani. So when Nandkishore and Devi Mayya have an eye out for ArHi why am I to get worried - sab acha hoga - bas shaayad apne soch se nahi hoga.
That night at the hospital, when the familygot news of the miscarriage, one shot hit me. In front of the OT doors as they open, stood Arnav. Feet apart, bracing to face what was coming just like a warrior. To his right was Khushi and left were Nani and Akash. The rest of the family arrayed in a V behind them. Mami and NK on teh right. Buaji and Payal to teh left. A V formation - of geese flying back home and a powerful attack formation in war.
When Akabar came back from Amer and reconciled with Jodha, before they could enjoy their relationship, e had to fight his kith and kin to save his kingdom. He discovered traitors within teh brood as well as lost a favoured companion. But in the end, love and goodness triumphed.
Humesha - Ever After, in the movie, just as Cinderella is to be unitd with her Prince, tragedy strikes. Rodmilla effects a separation and Cinderella is sold to a leching Lord only to be united eventually with her Prince Charming.
Whatever the past brings, Garima would have not had an affair with teh damaadji concerned. The story runs deeper whatever maybe teh tip of the iceberg. Garimas' mistake as she calls it could have been misrepresenting a reality for another's good. Perhaps willingly and knowingly trying to protect another or in teh love of another. Call it my gut instinct or what you may.
My shiddat - Good story and good execution and hero like Batman. The hero can have his hands tied, make wrong choices yet he is never dumb or not the "non batti jalaaoing types". I saw a flicker last week, now I will nto accept the brain going on a cruise again.
P.S: If the pain of a lost child has been buried by a mother as she never could handle pain, then it should be reflected in some way else she reminds me of a woman I read about in Readers Digest years ago who killed her children as she was unwilling to share her hudband's affection and attention with anyone. I hope a day comes when you realize how much you had in hand and the extent of sacrifices and leeway made by the people who love you. I hope you lose it all and areheld responsible for everything you did in bringing back your vile husband for you to know the value of what you had. Bcos trust me, VLR will only save his backside. Your meeting him in teh sly, your rebel will all be just that - your idea and perhaps as a final plunge of teh dagger, he would say, he was forced to come back because he needed your illusion and dependence on him for his goal and out of no true love for you.

DeleteThat realisation IMO comes not with the confrontation of the truth of VLR.(becos the truth has always been there before her and VLR is after all a person who she has known for 4 years only), it has to come from the deeper recesses of her heart, something Anji has to dig deeper within herself....the answers are within her not outside....

What you said is true - the answers are always within us! We just need to see them and more importantly accept them. Finally it is our choices that define the pathway of our life. Others; people or circumstances can influence but we can never blame our choice on another.
I hope too that Anjali the person comes out stronger from this all but her sapnon ki duniya needs to shatter for that and that will have to be two-fold because there are 2 men important in her life. Let's see.
A recurring thought this past week has been - everytime IPK land has a wedding Khushi seems to be orphaned. 14 years ago her parents died, a few months ago her foster family disowned her so what will this wedding bring?
Hope for the couple springs from the fact that the SUn and Moon though not seen together always are never absent from the sky. At times teh Sun shines bright while at others the Moon reigns. Typical of a relationship when one spouse of another seems to have an upper hand. However ever day as night dawns to a new day or a day fades into a night, for a brief moment the Sun and Moon at times are visible together. And some stars too.

Remember when we were talking about how all the scenes were being repeated when Arnav wanted to remind Khushi of the happy times they had shared...we had a whole lot of them...From then, I've been wondering if the sad moments will be repeated too....the shame in Munh Dikhayee....the isolation at pag phere...as you said, will she be orphaned again?
These happened after the wedding, so may be the wedding could happen, though seeing what is going on, everyone else seems to be getting what they promised to do, except Arhi- I have no hopes for a wedding.
Even 'if' she is orphaned, I feel ASR will get to her soon enough like he found her in the temple after the pag phere.
My only fear is that they'll show ASR deciding to back out- after effect of trying to understand 'conflict' in ASR's mind (thanks Rekha, you somehow succeeded in getting the point across) wrt to the two women.
DeleteI hated the Shyam ogling scene and Shyam giving that understanding look to Anjali post serving scene(hum sambhaalenge)- gives me the impression that Anjali might decide to leave with Shyam if she feels RM will not give her husband the respect he 'deserves'-.....I am really only putting this thought down because...there was a spoiler last week that Shyam gets bashed up PROB because ASR catches him ogling at K...if that happens, and Anjali is still blind...and she MUs Khushi....makes a demand.
It plain depresses me, this thought. If that happens, it will be difficult to watch the show with the same enthu - I don't really care what it makes Anjali out to be- if ASR has to go thru the conflict and even if Khushi makes the choice for him.
It is terrible to ask a man to choose between his sister and his wife even if it is for drama, so I hope it does not happen....who will want to watch that?

DeleteI wanted the pheras in the first place because of that social acceptance for Khushi ... the type of girl for whom these rituals ARE important, no matter how married she feels to Arnav in her heart. And also for the final acceptance by the family ... whatever the 'truth' Garima comes out with, it will be easier for Arhi to fight to stay together if the marriage is a done deal.
Till yesterday I thought the marriage might not happen, but today after the SR talk by NK, I think ... and hope ... that it will. :) Separation will be there after the pheras, that seems certain. If the marriage happens, hopefully it will not be a physical separation, but only an emotional one. Or maybe a physical one initially, but not for too long, and the emotional one continues, but with both under the same roof.
I don't see Anjali engineering the conflict this time round ... I think she has done what she had to. Unless of course VLR gets into her brains and fries them again. I do feel that the scene where Anjali acknowledged that she had failed to change Arnav's mind about the wedding, without knowing he had changed it already and had no intention of calling it off ... that scene indicates that Anjali will not be able to influence Arnav's decision about Khushi any more. Especially if they are married. Already for Arnav, Khushi is his wife, he cannot live without her. If distances do creep in because of Garima's story, his decisions will be emotional ones, but whatever they are, Anjali will not have much influence. Like she has no influence right now ... for him, both women are part of his life, and he has no intention of giving up either one.
Or rather, he won't give up Khushi, and he won't give up on Anjali ;) despite her being so blind and dumb.
Anjali will never threaten Arnav that she will leave the house with Shyam. This is my reading from her last track. If she had to threaten that, she would have done it then ... in fact it would have been a better way to get Shyam back than Khushi, because Arnav would not be able to let his sister leave the protection of his house to live with a murderous creep. Now that Shyam is back, Anjali will not demand Khushi leave for any reason ... like I said, she genuinely wants Arnav's happiness ... of course, only after her own world is complete.
Garima has definitely been MU'ed by Dadi. And Arnav has also probably MU'ed his dad. Arnav's dad in his fb asked 'what woman?!' ... he had no clue what Arnav's mom was talking about. So Garima hid some truth from Dadi, maybe let her think there was an affair while there wasn't? ... and Arnav's dad's secret was something worse than an affair? Can't think what ...
But I hope when Anjali's eyes are finally opened to the reality of her KP, she doesn't just dissolve into floods of tears, but also has some realization of how her refusal to face the truth brought havoc in the lives of her loved ones, and what all they had to face to pander to her. She needs to feel guilty for everything Khushi, went through, just to keep her fairy tale world intact. And Arnav has to realise that he could never have kept his unreal promise to Anjali, because everything is not in his hands. He has control over his own words and actions, but not over those of others ... when he could not control the thoughts and actions of his own sister, other people are out of the question.

BTW, Khushi's flower jewelry is not an IPK original - I saw it in some other serial - think it was Jeevika in Ek hazaaron mein ...And the bengali style ?? Looks like IPK has new stylist with a back fetish- first mehendi outfit and now haldi - mostly backless... Well, I guess we can't complain cos they did get Bitwa's hormones going ? :)
But just as I was getting lost in their "ankho-ankhon mein ishare" and bitiya's empty head was the last thing on my mind - Garima had to remind me " Khushi ne bataya ki vo sudhar gaye hai , Anjali ka bahut khyal bhi rakhte hai" ther e goes my slim hope that friday was a temporary aberration...*head desk.

This was a good episode. Firstly I have to say that NK is my champion. He has and I think always will be there to protect and keep an eye on Khushi. I just love that boy. Both him and Nani did well to freeze out the snake. His look to Angi saying I am trying but they don't understand me the way you do, or think you do. NK should have taken the camera from him letting the snake know he has no chance of ever trusting him again, but he will be watching him closely. Where Arnav and Khushi are concerned this was defiantly a feel good episode, probably before it all hits the fan.
ReplyDeleteI love the way Arnav just desperately wants to be with his Khushi and makes every opportunity count. It will be such a shame if the wedding doesn't happen. I for one will be really disappointed. Let's hope the MU happens after the marriage takes place or maybe even after the wedding night.
I hope we get less and less of Shyam Angi and concentrate on Arnav Khushi with the others getting more involvement and screen space.

DeleteU bet - NK has become an iconic character in TellyLand! Whoever has created and grown this character - Kudos!
And yeah I loved how Arnav tries to make teh most of every opportunity he gets with his wife. She has been parted from him for a week or so and the distance has only amde the heart grow fonder. And the best part, that desire to be close, to be with him is now very evident in Khushi too.
She does not jerk out of physically intimate moments though she still blushes. And her chhodiye humein is more habit brewn but I guess Arnav has started to make her see the light about how she actually cannot bear the thought of being away from him.
Yep, NK is really fabulous ... he is a man any girl would be lucky to get. And a true friend and champion. Funny that Lavanya and NK, the two third wheels in the Arhi love story have been both such wonderfully sketched out characters ... shows that everyone appreciates goodness always.
DeleteI was also happy about the NK freezing Snake scene because it told Snakewa that he would have to watch his step very carefully around Khushi, he can't afford to make any slips, NK and Nani are both on his tail. As are Mami and Arnav ... in fact, the entire house!
Sri, I too was annoyed at the 'sudhar' dialogue ... but I told myself maybe Khushi told her amma that to reassure her that she was in no danger from the Snake. With the rest of the house now aware of VLR's lust, Khushi is definitely safer, because they all will be watching Snakewa with eagle eyes, and he has to look after Anjali 24/7. That itself is punishment for the guy - just for starters! :)))

The blue veil with star-like motifs - reminiscent of Khushi's alluring to their parents having turned into stars. So the veil that separates them would be their intertwined past involving their parents. The veil is not opaque but translucent symbolising that the past would only partially restrict them from viewing each other clearly. Their love for each other was very much evident to the other even through that veil meaning that they will never misunderstand the depth of their love for each other, despite the hurdle created by the past.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, the reference to Arnav being the sun and buaji putting on the goggles on Khushi to be prepared for him is to underline the fact that Khushi fearing the scorching of the sun, sees him with coloured glasses, assuming the worst after the past unravels. While she will never doubt his love she will fear of being a constant reminder to his painful past if she sticks on.
Arnav takes the initiative of getting rid of the veil, indicating that he will be the one to put his past behind him and take hold of Khushi's hand walking away from their families. He had to trick NK and tempts Akaash to get rid of the veil. Considering that Shyam and Dadi are the hurdles in his path, who will be responsible for holding up his past to him, he may employ the same tactics on these two. Now who will be tricked and who will be tempted and with what is to be seen.
Although he claimed he does not need to prove his love to Khushi, Arnav will do exactly that. She risked her life for him. Maybe it is his turn to risk his life or more likely sacrifice his ego and make peace with his past so as to pave way for a bright future with his beloved.
We know that these two love each other and trust each other. Maybe the next track is about building understanding between each other.
Have a feeling that Shyam's truth will be revealed to Anj closer to Durga Pooja and Anj may turn into Durga, to avenge the havoc he was wreaked in their lives.

ReplyDelete1. arnav bashing up aakash for being KMH in their bedroom.. "dude, what the? forgot the no ****blocking rule?" and akash apologizing.. "sorry dude, the seniors are getting restless !" (all in the eyes, while payal is giggling to khushi.. barun and akshay, hats off!)
2. shashi staring down shyam .. because he remembers the murderous intent. just because no one else knows about it does not mean that it is not true. (when will that particular crime come up? )
3. in the second arnav-akash line, while saying "payal is alone," etc, bitwa imploring akshay to leave them alone.. via his eyes. barun sobti, too good!
was today's episode taken by a different director? the feel of the episode was different.
